MSB eDeposit for Android
V3 is a year old, yet i has some very obvious bugs. If those haven't been noticed - or worse - have been considered acceptable, what else is lying under the surface? C'mot people - this is a financial app, not a game! I won't use this version; I'll revert to V2 but I'm no longer sure I should trust that one either. Bug: You can't log out or exit the app! The logout button takes you to a login screen, but using the Android back-button from there backs you to before you logged out, to your account screens.
App has worked very well for me. Though I do not like having to have a third username and password. It can get very confusing. I too have had the limit issue. It would be nice to allow larger checks. Some how my password is no longer correct, and there is no way to reset it from the app. It would also be nice if this app was worked into the other Middlesex Bank app.
Can't get it to take a usable back of check picture. Super frustrating
Username and password does not match my online. No clue how to set this.
Not as smooth or functional as other banking apps, but with decent light and a solid color background I find it easy to take the pictures & get the deposits done. Make sure your deposit account is selected right before you press deposit: it has a habit of becoming unset during the process of taking check pictures.
Deposit checks anywhere
Some shortcomings when compared with my TD Bank app: 1. Couldn't login without contacting customer service, even after I got my password emailed to me. (TD app: no problem) 2. There are 2 separate apps for online banking and check photo deposit. Seriously? (TD app: just one) Minor point: It just looks and feels like the final project in a 3-month computer programming class...from about a decade ago. E-deposit should definitely be part of a more comprehensive banking app, IMO.

Super easy to use. It was actually EASIER than I expected it to be. Works just as described. Got confirmation immediately on screen and another confirmation by email within minutes. LOVE IT!
seems to need a lot more work to make it work well. Did my first eDeposit, and an error flashed across my screen that said my deposit was "too large", but then the app showed it as successfully deposited. Went to bank and found that it did not actually deposit my check at all. so had to deposit the old-fashioned way. Why have an app that is limited to US$1,500 per day for deposits? my other banks will allow up to US$25,000 per day!! I searched their website and found nothing that mentions this limit for deposits.
After I take pictures of the check and press done the app hangs for forever. When I try to change my initial PW I get an error.
Great idea, but it doesn't work. Not yet anyway. Had the same problem asvthe other reviewer. Took pictures of the front and back, then watched a spinning circle for an hour....
On first use I took the pictures when through the process of depositing and it gave me an error code (didn't write it down) and a message that said "Deposit is greater than maximum" ???WTF! How could a deposit, $2000.00 in this case, be great than what maximum? And when you hit the review button it says it was accepted and even give you a transaction # but days after it still is not in my account...so I have to assume it didn't work.
