Plant Assessment Tool (PAT)

The Plant Assessment Tool is used to assess the performance of Small Water Enterprises, in particular Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification plants at community level. It assesses the plant performance against specific service level benchmarks on the basis of five criteria: Social, Operational, Financial, Institutional, and Environmental (SOFIE) PAT evaluates performance and delivers a quantifiable SOFIE score on each of the five evaluation criteria both in a graphical and tabular format. It assists in decision making to improve the plant performance.
