Microsoft Remote Desktop

Worked fine on all my previous phones, but won't fill the screen of my 18:9 Pixel 2XL. Causes the desktop to be cropped, and have to move to edges to pan around. Mouse nolonger accurate (you have to clean near buttons, on them won't work). Come on Microsoft! You can't make an Android app that doesn't work on Android's flagship reference device!!

Works great, except on my pixel 2 xl, I can't zoom out enough to see the start menu, it's too zoomed in, no idea what the problem is, works great on other handsets. I hope it gets fixed as it's my favorite RDP client now that wyse pocketcloud got nuked by Dell.

Microsoft always have to make everything a freakin headache. Too much of a hassle to connect. Installed Google Remote Desktop, and connected instantly. This is too annoying.... Uninstalled!

Does NOT work. Complete garbage. First of all when you get connected to the pc 'kind of', it literally logs off in the computer. Then first thing it does on it's own is opening Microsoft edge and that being a cancer on it's own just freezes everything permanently. Leaving you with a useless app on your phone. Oh, not mentioning the screen layout where you are literally can not get the screen to show in landscape mode. Just when you think Microsoft got it right, they go and do something like this. What a damn joke.

This app is useless if you use and RDP Gateway as you will always receive an error 0x3000008. Microsoft is aware of this and in the past year has made no effort to provide a fix. Also happens on iOS but using the same connection from a Windows PC will work fine. This app should be removed as it is non functional. (It used to work just fine.)

It seems to work okay, though the resolution doesn't ajust correctly in ChromeOS. You get a huge horizontal black bar on the bottom of the screen. Other than that, it seems to work a lot like the Windows version... though it seemed a bit more laggy.

Good RDP client. I wish custom resolution let you specify a custom resolution. Currently it just gives you a set of inappropriate choices, and the fit phone always gets it wrong on Pixel 2 XL.

Please add full screen support with Samsung DEX, I hate using other apps. You guys did a good job with Office apps, why stop short?

Wonderfully useful to be able to work on my computer at home no matter where I am in the country using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The only frustration I have is that the backspace key very frequently does not work until held down for several seconds. Same problem with multiple keyboards, so it seems to be a problem with the App and not with the keyboard.

Issues with resolution and general latency - Will re review once an update fixes the issue. Black line and no real implementation of custom resolution for a standard 1080p screen. Works great on my mobile phone.

It's FANTASTIC... when it works. I have had less than 50% success on RDP's that work perfectly fine from the Windows platform. I have contacted Microsoft about this and have yet to find a solution. I will report back if things change.

I use it from time to time and it works, but on my new Pixel 2 XL in landscape mode part of the desktop is cut off and I cannot access taskbar. Works fine in portrait mode though

Works perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy J3. I have none of the issues others have posted. I can flip my phone sideways or up and down and it resizes the desktop. I've never had a problem connecting. I can remotely administer all of my computers by forwarding various ports. I have very little else installed on my phone, which minimizes conflicts, all of my PCs are running fully up to date Windows 10, and I have a high speed fiber internet connection (150Mbps). Maybe that would make a difference for some people.

I've used this app to connect remotely to my Win10 desktop from Samsung S7 & Tab A, without issue. It feels smooth, displays as I expect, and does what I need. Some with connection issues should make sure to Port Forward 3389 on their router.

It was great. I can connect to my home Windows 7 computer. I am using a Sony Xperia Z2 10-inch tablet with a bluetuth keyboard. I'm using that right now so those two work. But after typing for a few hours today on my home computer through this app, I suddenly can't type anymore in the app. I disconnected, thinking it was my keyboard. I charged it for an hour or so. Tried again. Reconnected to my home computer. Still can't type. I tried the built in keyboard and that won't let me type anything either, not even numbers. Would have been 5 stars but not anymore.

Galaxy s8+ mouse pointer is off, like its not calibrated. I need to hold pointer under the item to have selection in the correct place. This was always fine for me but has dropped off recently. Thanks

Great app, please fix the resolutions issues. When switching between screens on chromebooks the screen goes gray (multi monitor). Also, when choosing a resolution manually it works until you either switch or click off the screen then when you go back it's suuuper tiny and you have to relog. Using on Pixelbook.

This used to work like a charm, but a recent update broke it. I can now no longer connect to our RemoteApp deployment from my phone with this app. Still works fine from PC.

Please support customised screen resolution e.g. 900*500 etc. 2. in the next major update, please support remote connection connecting to WAN personal computer using Microsoft Account log in (like TeamViewer). 3 Please support slip screen in Android 7 Nougat bugs: 1. remote input method switch key combination (control shift) conflicts with local Bluetooth Keyboard using Google Pinyin input language switch key (shift) leading to sometimes shift key is being pressed and holded why? I didn't press it but it was pressed and hold! so all the single selection click become select from and to. Please fix this biggest bug and please sync language input methods remote and local! Or at least allow user to choose disable remote language input methods or local input methods. Really hope you understand what I described. Thank you very much.

App was awesome on my Pixel XL. I now have the Pixel 2 XL. In portrait mode, the taskbar is cut off and can see it. Doesn't seem to be scaling right on a 18:9 ratio display.

It seems running older VMs can cause problems with RDP. This seems to lack pen pressure sensitivity please add that as soon as possible.

Useless when not in english locale. Impossible to write the character so accessing networkshares is close to impossible.

Very Good App for accessing desktop remotely. But One complaint is that I just can use in LAN or WLAN or Local WiFi. Pls. Make it accessible for all types of Network just Like Cellular Network

Not working at all and no simple user guide to use. I have been using therd party apps for years and they are very simple

The app worked ok, but it doesn't let your keyboard use any dead key like a acute (á) and such, so a cheap android terminal with (in my case) Brazilian ABNT2 external keyboard is a no go unless you can hang around using only standard ASCII characters. On Android my keyboard mapping is running perfect --> ãẽõíçáé.

Worked great on my Pixel XL. On my Pixel 2 XL, it cuts off the bottom of the screen and the cursor is slightly off. Probably due to the screen aspect ratio.

Please give the option using by Port or IP like Port Forward like TeamViewer access every time we can't create a account for pc otherwise it's really good... please fix this.

The app keeps giving me error code 0x104 and saying unable to connect. If I can get the app to work and connect to my pc then I will update my rating.

Please add qr scan options in app because i am unable to connect my device pc name and user name its always show ' we could not find any device.

On Samsung Galaxy S8+,when connected to a Win10Pro PC, clicking (tapping) is not mapped properly...If I click a button, the click registers to the left of where it should be. Also there are black bars around the session, it does not fill the screen.

This app needs to be updated to support 18:9 screen ratios. My remote desktop screen is cut off on the right side. The affects the location of the mouse and makes the remote desktop extremely hard to control

It only connects the first time, after that when you try to connect it gives you an error. You have to remove the computer device and add it again everytime, such a pain. Please fix this!!

works great! added portforwarding to my router, can remote in my desktop with dynamic dns hostname. I've used others and you have to pay to remote if you are not at your home network. Best off all its FREE!

I entered the host name of the PC, but when I try connecting, it says it can't connect. My PC is on, but it still won't connect. If you can fix this problem, then maybe I'll give it another try.

Does not work on Pixel 2 XL. Screen ratio is off, on one of our servers I can't change the zoom factor, and the mouse is miscalibrated

1 * for not working on win home edition. I should pay more than double just to have pro edition and have this app working?! It is pure blackmail!

It seems like a great idea, but you can't use it unless you have the Pro version of Windows 10. So I used time trying to set up my PC that can't even connect.

With Google remote desktop, it took 1 minute of setup time and it worked. With MS, days of troubleshooting, did not work.
