Microsoft Remote Desktop Beta for Android
When streaming video the sound is a bit out of synch, but apart from that, great app
works pretty well for executing cmd remotely
Missing finger print login
Very Stable and Simple Remote Desktop App.
Good for when I'm working on the go.
Best to use
Brilliant
I frequently use this app for light server management while around the building. The improvements I've seen since I started using it several years ago have been dramatic. It's been an irreplaceable tool and one of the first apps to reinstall when I replaced my phone.
Managed to get it working. All I have to do is turn on remote desktop. Put in your accounts email and password and bingo all done. Thanks MS
After recent update the vertical resolution is not comfortable. Please keep the older resolution
"Enter" does not work after entering the password
Landscape mode is not comfortable
Great RDP experience!
Amazing just AMAZING
Great
Its simple to setup, but there is no way it can connect to PC, Win 10. I tried the other MS App too. Edit: Thank you. I got a message that Remote Desktop isn't supported on this Windows. I probably have Home edition.
I can connect to Windows 10 computers no problem, remote desktop is super easy with windows pc, but this app is nearly impossible to configure as it refuses to accept password and user name
I didn't know I need portrait RDP until now. Typing is so much easier. Thanks team!!
Wow! The new portrait view is amazing. I have been long for this kind of view. Please add this view to the non-beta version. I am using that version too.
Great job Microsoft! (I don't get to say that enough lately)
App has improved drastically over the last year, works seamlessly and UI is very intuitive.
Excellent work
Would love to see the option to password protect the app with a PIN and fingerprint! I'm surprised this is not a more common request. This would allow saving passwords to the user accounts, instead securing them via fingerprint.
This might not work with Win Home/starter. Works well with Win 10 Enterprise Insider Preview
Works fine eventually, but a bit of a messy and complicated app to setup and would like to see the ability to not disable the desktop whilst using the RD app too (if possible), but otherwise enjoying it on weekly (locally logged in) basis connecting to a Windows 10 (Anniversary Edition) desktop based on 2x 4K (3840x2160) and 8Ch (24bit/192kHz) audio / LG G4 with CM14.1
Poor touch control.
My Windows 10 Insider Preview host is not detecting a multi-touch screen, even though I have pinch zoom turned off in RD Client Beta. Regarding the response from Microsoft, using the desktop Remote Desktop on my laptop multi-touch works fine. Sure it is not an issue with the Android app?
I've used several rdp managers in the past. The way the mouse interacts is way better then the virtual mouse in other apps.
5 stars if you had microphone and webcam redirection as well. Think about it please.
Which password and user name we have to enter?
Great app. I'm now using the full version rather than the beta version.
Why do you need access to my contacts? It serves zero purpose for this app. And the app seems to work just fine with the permission disable an Android 7. Don't require permissions that you don't need.
If only I could import and export my list of servers.
I have a success: It just keep me asking for username and password. The problem was that my samsung keyboard on phone added automatic a space to me login at the end. I have deleted the space key format the end and the application has been working great since then.
A really great rdp app, just one slight discomfort. The function keys and non android keys are too large. I use a Nokia club and a customizable keyboard app. It would be great to have the rdp keyboard resizable.
This app works better than any other paid apps in the market. .. Well done Microsoft..! The mouse is the best part on this app.. It works perfect..! The other RMT apps haven't got to the point of perfection on how the mouse works.
Thanks for fixing the mouse pointer issue! Was driving me insane.
Keeps requesting for user name and password
Make your Android device a Windows 10 device.
