Microsoft Band

UPDATE: Ever since the Nougat update, my Band2 no longer syncs even after hard resets, reinstalls, etc. Does everything it needs to but would like a few nicities. Allowing us to set custom wallpapers on the band and setting custom colors in the app would be nice.

It was good at first but now it's constantly crashing and it's draining my battery. Will have to uninstall if not fixed soon. 2 week update: app is still constantly crashing and can't even access anymore. Bluetooth connection keeps getting lost and I do not get all the notifications on my band.

The app was working really well for me until my phone (ZTE Axon 7) received the nougat update. Now it won't work. I've reset the Bluetooth connection with my band 2 multiple times, have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, and restarted the phone. After reinstalling the app and restarting the phone, it syncs for about an hour (notifications work and info updates), but then stops working.

Had to change my review. The band is great. Customer service isn't. Ran into the common issue that people have where it stops working. Had to wai almost 4 months to getva refund since their main factory stopped making the bands. I also didn't get a full refund. I spent 220 on the band plus tax and only got 170 back. Thanks Microsoft.

It would be nice if the graphs for heart rate were consistently scaled. Walks in morning regularly go off the chart. But then, Microsoft have dropped the product so why would they fix the app?

I am not a great fan of the current layout. The notifications are hit-and-miss. The music controls don't work if you have bluetooth controls. It does not support the Samsung stock email client for emails on the Band. Latest update broke the sleep tracking. Now i get 0 hours of sleep every night. Come on Microsoft, you have abandoned the band, why do you push updates to break the smartwatch completely? Latest update: phone detects high battery usage from app. -1 stars

Very disappointed with the Band2. Has been replaced twice. It stopped working last week, (third time). The warranty ended Feb. 13, 2017. My husband's also stopped working in January of this year and warranty ended last year. It is my understanding Microsoft no longer makes the Band2, but they still make the Band1. Think I will look into another brand.

I love all the features and layout of the app. However, I am annoyed how I just got a Microsoft Band 1 and Microsoft band 2 just came out meaning Microsoft having given up on updating it after just one keyboard update! Also no support for Cortana on Android!

March 29 2017 - the Band does not work on lg g5 on Nougat but DOES work on Nexus 6 on Nougat. So it is not a band issue; it is a phone issue. Still love using it every day, for sleep tracking, exercise tracking, steps etc.

I loved this device too bad no one caught on. App was updated per request. Band 2 had everything without having to have phone present for exercise and awesome display. App didn't require Band for basics.

Love it; problems with latest release. Been using for over a year and is generally great. Had to knock off a star because latest release has sync and connection issues. Previous version had no problems.

It's getting worse. It used to consume all my battery but now crashes all the time. It's making my band unusable. I have ordered a gear fit. Such a shame

Used to work. Doesn't anymore... That is all you need to know. Update: It is now several months later. Still not working. At this point, Microsoft should be refunding anyone who purchased the Band.

Samsung Note 5. Won't sync...wants me to do a factory reset. NO! I don't want to lose all my previous data. Get it together Microsoft.

White screen at sign-in and nothing. 2 stars because of Win10 app, which is good. Edit: Figured the bug out, but had to dig online... Bumped from 2 to 4 stars.

The Microsoft Band 2 is outstanding...I've never seen so much data. It has completely changed my life. I've lost 20.5 lbs and move 1000% more than ever. I PRAY Microsoft keeps this product around. I'm going to buy one for my wife and daughter. 8000% better than a FitBit, which is a great product also. The MS Band 2 would be, in my opinion, the Bentley of wearables.

On my 20th install can't get it to sink with my band. Band works with the phone but app can't see the band

Cortana integration doesn't work anymore. More of Microsoft intentionally hobbling a potentially great ecosystem. Why do I bother?

Apparently this app is no longer supported. When trying to pair with Android, I keep getting an "unknown error" occurring that loops every attempt. Piss poor effort by MS.

Love the app and band. Guided workouts are the best feature. Very disappointed ms killed the band and health lines

App crushes too often despite the new name. And why don't you, guys, store some data locally? While offline I can't check my yesterday activities - is this normal??

Regularly crashes while syncing with WiFi enabled. Just disable WiFi to Sync. Otherwise, app is great.

Fix the app Microsoft!! Why does it should my calories burned for the entire 24 hours when it's only 7am?! This has been an ongoing issue!

3 out of 5 times the app freezes while syncing the phone needs a restart to go on with the sync. Shame Ms

Continually get 'an error occurred with your band' haven't been able to login for close to a year

Can't get app to pair with my band 2 and it's really annoying. Was fine until recently. I hope it's sorted out soon.

Sync stopped working a few weeks back, sort of vital functionality.

It's alright. At times it is not accurate.

Like it but on my windows phone I had cortana and keyboard options not allow on Android phones yet

In the weight graph, the date format is always US and it does not use the phone settings or the settings from the app.
