What are users saying about Hub Keyboard, Preview

by E####:

It a good keyboard don't get me wrong. The interface is the best for me, it is simple and yet beautiful BUT it drains my battery so fast. 20% battery usage and it is more than to my 17% screen usage. So now you guys know why I drop this to 2 stars. I might use it in the future if you guys fix it in the future. And oh! I forget it is lack of emojis support and words auto correct. Microsoft fix it chop-chop.

U70%
by U####:

The functionality added to this keyboard is revolutionary. As everyone says, predictive typing is good but just give that red underline and with misspelled words.... and throw in WordFlow and this would be killer. Been TOO LONG since an update though, are you bringing this out of preview or....? Just needs to be finished in development and it'll be awesome and get extra stars in my review.

C70%
by C####:

It has a few nice ideas like the extensions and the "next" (or tab?) button but it needs more polish and more flexibility. The way it handles extensions is better than other keyboards I've used, the buttons are way better than swiping to get the extension you want. Autocorrect is weak, though.

V70%
by V####:

The bigger buttons are great, especially if I'm in a screen that doesn't flip. It's there when I need it; like if a keyboard malfunctions on certain sites or I need a late night darker screen. In some apps and webisites, it doesn't leave any typing space shown when horizontal. True - It doesn't have emojis, but I have 2 other keyboards that do. Microsoft's Excel keyboard has many positives, yet buttons are too small; better suited for tabolets. Size change options would be nice for both keyboards.

R70%
by R####:

If anyone ever rated this keyboard anything less than 5 stars they're probably idiots and you should question any thing they ever said because their jugement must be far off. I've always fantasized about a keyboard with a thesuarus.

Z70%
by Z####:

at first it was awesome using this keyboard! its the best keyboard app available on playstore. but still it lacks many features. you guys should add more customisation features and shoul really work on its battery usage and ram usage. we should be able to delete contents from our clipboard to avoid scrolling the whole clipboard to find our copied text. also we should be able to change the keyboard size. if you can add these features this keyboard will be something great. its good and ive used it for sometim

U70%
by U####:

I love the speech to text, it works pretty great, but the keyboard performance is not the greatest. I type too fast and it keeps putting the incorrect letters in which is bad in a professional environment. The performance should be good because I am on galaxy S7 Edge. I am going to keep the keyboard installed to see if it has any updates though. It has a lot of great features.

U70%
by U####:

Nice theme, I like the dark one. And I like the clean layout. but it can be slow and needs to keep up with my typing speed. This keyboard is similar to the GBoard in some respects. If you guys come up with new updates and improvements soon before google introduces Gboard to Android, this keyboard has the potential to become everyone's preferred keyboard. Hurry up guys. Hut hut!!!!

U70%
by U####:

I have been trying many keyboards which includes the top rated google keyboard and swift keyboard. Both had problems capturing my fast pace. This one had done wonderful job with my pace. Im loving this nd I hope they would come out of the preview version fast.

P70%
by P####:

the text and number both gets mixed. Not good layout. Autocorrect is working fine. But it does not give future predictions like on Swift key board Edit:seen synonymous words and search features nice improvement .but still variable size keyboard are not available.

U70%
by U####:

Text correction isn't automatic. There's no "swype-like" function. Extra spaces are sometimes added after using long-press shortcuts. An obvious lag is present in all aspects of the app.

Z70%
by Z####:

Slow when input a pasword, need for more symbol when long press (.) not just a comma. For the left, need for comma buton and comma button long press for mic. And need for numbered row on the top. Suggeat for contact, most typed word, and language support. The interface is great, feel same with keyboard on my wndowsphone, less miss type

U70%
by U####:

The features provided are fantastic. The keyboard does seem to miss some taps and this bug must be fixed. Also, autocorrect and word prediction features must be provided otherwise it becomes really difficult for some people like me. Otherwise, an okay keyboard.

C70%
by C####:

When first released it was bare bones but laid a great foundation that they since have built on to the point there are to many new features to name. I'll say that I like it because it feels accurate and the features are actually very helpful not gimmicky. Please keep reinforcing an already solid foundation and make a great keyboard but I must admit I miss my emojis when texting my kids and while I can live without a slide input feature because it's fairly accurate typing. Why?

U70%
by U####:

I love this keyboard, I really do. But it isn't very customizable. I would love for it to be more like "Word Flow" for iOS devices and Windows Phones. You did it with Windows and Apple, now try Android please.

U70%
by U####:

A keyboaed withiut a space bar to auto corrwct the likely word is fairky useless. (Switching back to Google keyboard now) So I'll use this only when spelling doesn't matter or I need to paste in a contact or translate something. But a good start on a brilliant idea. Pls bring to Windows 10 Mobile, my daily driver! Support your own company! Play Store clipboard screenshot copy spells "texts" wrong: text is both singular and plural in US English.

F70%
by F####:

The idea behind Hub Keyboard which integrates all your essential data & multimedia in a single kaypad is, in one word simply brilliant. The person who conceived of this notion to make your keypad the one stop accessory to your typing needs must be lauded & rewarded. If copied by Google & others could easily revolutionise the typing habits of billions of people and change the way users input content into a system. Added functional customisations, themes & swipe will make it the greatest keyboard ever lived!

I like the Microsoft Office intergration. But the word completion is terrible. The voice to text doesnt work. And there is no "swiftkey" typing. Other than that it might become a good keyboard. Someday.

U70%
by U####:

My experience was the opposite from others. The keyboard was fine but the voice to text was terrible. When the two match each other in quality, I plan to be back. Until then, I will stick with Swiftkey, which I understand is now also a Microsoft company. Hmmmm..... Maybe by working together.......

J70%
by J####:

The keyboard doesn't have auto correct or any other language support. There is no swipe typing. The keyboard app crashes so often. The look up contact and gif features would be good if the keyboard was good in the first place.

U70%
by U####:

Very smooth for fast typers, another Microsoft android app that's ultra stable from release.. but also another Microsoft app that lacks in customisation and settings config.

X70%
by X####:

Pretty good start. I like the integrations. It has a lot of useful features but doesn't have the practical features. I like that it locks the numbers especially when I am working on a spreadsheet. A way to get best of both worlds is long press to lock the 123 button and short press to enter one set of numbers or symbol. Swipe text Auto correct when pressing space bar. Cortana integrated voice dictations. I am designing my Android phone around microsoft apps. Pretty good so far.

U70%
by U####:

Overall it is a good keyboard but need smileys. It dont have any smilys which is very much needed feature in a keyboard. Hope you will add smilies in future update

Y70%
by Y####:

The auto correct slows me down instead of speeding me up. It cannot handle punctuation and does not appear to learn.

U70%
by U####:

i've a smart tv with android . need use my t9 numbers of a remote control to write texts . writing with arrows with this app at smart tv is soo difficult . and there is no arabic characters to search somme things

U70%
by U####:

The experience of typing is a little laggy. It may be because of the heavy processing that is going on behind the scenes.

M70%
by M####:

Thia keyboard is missing basic features such as autocorrect and swype. Even the key layout leaves a lot to be desired, with basic punctuation like commas in the numeric toggle or long press. Clicking on a misspelled word does not seem to bring up logical spelling corrections, it stays fixed on the last word in the input stream. No suggestions for contractions (it's, didn't, can't) I had hoped with recent aquisitions, more relevant functionality would be added and obvious shortcomings would be addressed.

U70%
by U####:

Clip tray is great. lots to improve, auto correct sucks, key presses are slow. Vibration cabbot be adjuared. Juat uninstalled as auo correct ia too bad !!!

U70%
by U####:

Nowadays it's about saving time & quickly getting things done. Texting is no exception. I will delete your app if the next update doesn't include the SWIPE FEATURE. I will provide 5 stars if the next update has the SWIPE FEATURE. Thank you

K70%
by K####:

The Windows Phone keyboard was awesome. I'm glad they managed to port it here and not just that, but also enhace it with new features. However, it get 4* because so far it's only available in English.

U70%
by U####:

Hye.. very simple to use. soooo nice. I got clipboard option in my smsung j7. but it looks pale, why dnt you add some colours that gives great look it..

R70%

Awesome keyboard app with producive access. Under rating on Google play store. Cannot understand why? Only suggestion is add keyboard sound like windows phone keyboard .

H70%
by H####:

But is great so far sometimes certain keys dont respond when pressed and when I press the highlighted key letter it should stay highlighted for longer if that makes any sense I will probably use a different keyboard until a stable version comes up

U70%
by U####:

I would have given five stars, but I was expecting swift key input (swiping fingers across keys to type). Moreover, for some reason, the enter key could not be used as the "ok" key. For example, while setting a new phone password in settings, I used to press enter key to finalise the password while using google keyboard. But here it seems that enter key doesnt function the same way as it did in google keyboard. For now, we need an update soon for the swift key typing.

K70%
by K####:

if you guys get auto correct and swype like typing with a black keyboard theme then I will fully convert to this one and give 5 stars

U70%
by U####:

There is a lack in vibration synchronisation with key press events. The vibration feels to be somewhat delayed... Moreover, there is no control to select the vibration strength.

U70%
by U####:

Okey, It has a long way to go but the idea is amazing and If they continue to make all this funtions work well, then this will be my next default keyboard but for now am sticking with KIKA keyboard. Good luck.

U70%
by U####:

Drains battery and not emojis so its good but not better....Try something new battery saving update......plz

S70%
by S####:

It's responsive and easy to use. Hopefully it'll be out of preview soon and come with emoji support too.

U70%
by U####:

No swipe support and the typing felt delayed. Good look but needs to perform better at least in my galaxy s5
