What are users saying about MSN Money- Stock Quotes & News

T70%
by T####:

App will not allow (me only???) opening of the UK FTSE 100 market graph greater than 1 day. ie cannot see the longer term trends that are available on other market indices worldwide.

F70%
by F####:

It's valuable just putting things on watchlist for quick, different info that I don't get from Sharebuilder. Max stock price of 5 years ain't too bad. Would be better with dividend history as well, but thanks for the app & update. :)

K70%
by K####:

Terrible. Can't even look up stocks... you type in TSLA and no results. I even tried SPY and $SPY, ans still couldn't research it. Better apps on the market for this stuff, unfortunately.

L70%
by L####:

It is fascinating how it follows an economic pattern of dows going through phases of rise and falling and rise up again. Investment made easy and is an valuable asset to anyone planning to go in any industry of their choosing.

K70%
by K####:

It seems to be working fine. I like the version on my phone more though because it has a tools section which includes a currency converter. I'm not sure why there are two different versions out for Android.

K70%
by K####:

Good app. Like that I can create a stock watchlist. But since last week it no longer works on my samsung A tablet. Very frustrating.

O70%
by O####:

Clean and user-friendly interface (reminds me of my old Windows phone). Quickly delivers relevant financial news and data. I would love it even more if I could enter my portfolio details so I could see the change in value of my holdings instead of just seeing the change in price of the securities that I own.

K70%
by K####:

Microsoft is one the few decent software companies. I like most their apps. This app gives you good financial info in a nice interface and with no surprises. Another unrelated app that I will strongly recommend is office lens.

K70%
by K####:

Apps quite good, problem is I had lost all my stocks added to the watchlist twice. Just can't b bothered adding them all again.

N70%
by N####:

I like everything about this app, news, stocks and provides information on current daily events. The only thing I don't like is the small print is too light in ink on grafts and it should be darker print to make it easier to read.

V70%
by V####:

Logs out everyday now and it's very cumbersome to have sign back in. No commodity charts. Used for a while but going to try something new.

K70%
by K####:

I haven't noticed any ads and it's easy to use. I use it mostly to watch my stocks. I would like to hook other things into it, tho (eg nasdaq dividend history)

K70%
by K####:

I gave this app 5 stars because it was the only one show most of what I am looking for with reasonable info, but about a week it stopped display my watch list asking to check my network so I changed my review. Still my watching lisr not working

K70%
by K####:

It would be a good app if it was reliable and worked well which it doesn't...watchlist hasn't been working for few days now and that has forced me to move to another app - msn literally pushed me away as a customer when I wanted stay.

M70%
by M####:

this has started sucking huge amounts of battery. +85% of a full charged 3000mAh regularly consumed by this one app alone. >200MB of background data used during the last 4 week period vs ±6MB previously

K70%
by K####:

My favourite money app. I have a Windows phone as well as this syncs data between my devices, PC included. One star less because you can't track holdings and price bought in.

K70%
by K####:

This app is always deleting my watchlist for no reason so I constantly have to go through the process of adding my stocks back into the app. A simple function that should not be an issue.

K70%
by K####:

Another sub par Microsoft creation. Everytime I tap on the widget to open it, all I get is the spinning circle and a pop up saying I have no internet connection when in fact I do. It's no mystery why I switched to Linux over Windows on all my computer's.

P70%
by P####:

I think it's bullshit that my watch list keeps getting erased. Kind of pain in the ass to have to keep punching em in over and over.

A70%
by A####:

This app gives great financial articles ranging from investing, saving, and even career tips all in one place. App is well organized and easy to use. A must download!

N70%
by N####:

I normally don't write reviews, but this is the most well organized and succinct finance app out there. Not too in depth but great for quick news and daily market tracking.

G70%
by G####:

The best ever app that shows everything you need from your finances, news, forex, indices, stock markets all over the world, etc. I recommend this app specially to those people who wants to have a top down and bottom up analysis of the world and financial markets...

A70%
by A####:

So far I like the app. Though, I think a feature where you can zoom in on past stock prices and see how much they were, would be a very nice and useful tool.

K70%
by K####:

Was good until last update. Makes you sign in everyday. Which is very annoying

K70%
by K####:

Good data but very clunky to set up the tickets. The newest gets added to the top of the list and they are hard to rearrange.

K70%
by K####:

This is the second time the app has erased all my stocks that I am trying to follow

K70%
by K####:

It is a good app to track stocks. But could improve the news section. Also, a recommendation or market sentiment feature can be added to make it par with moneycontol app.

R70%
by R####:

Okay for General info and news. Can't sort a watch list and no ability to see extended hours quotes. Does provide analysts recommendations on a stock. Site is visually very appealing and easy to read.

K70%
by K####:

Nice app to create watchlist of stock s we like to keep track of.. but noticing delay in the reflection of market movement...

K70%
by K####:

This app is a joke. 1st it adds all stocks I'm searching in watchlist which stops happening later(just when I thought it may be a feature). Then it takes a minute for them to show up in the actual watchlist. It shows a 1yr chart for Snap Inc(which did an IPO only 1 month back. Lol). Even better. The 5yr chart is different from the 1 yr graph!!! Pathetic.

K70%
by K####:

MSN Money is terrific! Professional, with strong, useful features and financial industry-top-caliber-partnerships. Microsoft is being just a bit overlooked in the app Dept. when compared to others, including their closest true peers like Apple and Google. Overlooking Microsoft's apps is a mistake. Top of the heap!

Q70%
by Q####:

One of the WORST BATTERY DRAINERS on the market - as bad as some of the more demanding games. Fellow users, please check your battery usage, both during and some time after, running of this app and you will see...

K70%
by K####:

It is a nice app, with simple navigation and design for a good overview of your stocks. The news is rather awful though - a big majority of the content is tabloid information an d click-bait articles which I really don't think is fitting for an app like this.

K70%
by K####:

Absolute garbage. I spent weeks creating a watch list with over a hundred companies and since yesterday they longer appear. When I log on via the website it's there but not showing on app. Microsoft are the most unreliable company when it comes to consistency. I wish Google create a stock market app.

K70%
by K####:

Overall good app. You can get lots of info quick. Unfortunately, sometimes it does not refresh. It will say the market is closed when it is open and prices are changing. Other times multiple screen changes are required to get it to refresh. (I am talking of delays in hours, not seconds). Hardly any options to customize behavior. News search is terrible, maybe driven by Bing without any filtering for investment nature of the news. But overall has a simple interface to get and summarize data. Edit 30 Mar 2017. Downgrade. Recent upgrade wiped out watchlist. Was that really necessary Microsoft? Crashes 50% of time on startup.

H70%
by H####:

When it works it's fine. When it works. It's currently broken again: continually loses log in. This bug appeared to be fixed a week or so ago. Now it's back. Looks like another untested app rolled out by Microsoft

K70%
by K####:

Very good. Information all easily accessible, and well organized. I have pet peeves about bad user interfaces, but this app has a truly brilliant interface. News feed is usually devoid of poorly written clickbait articles, but not always. The layout is dense enough with stuff I actually want to see that I use this more than my brokerage's app

K70%
by K####:

I was using moneycontrol since many years but this app has a good look and feel.. i have not used it much but easier to work with like changing the graphs and moving between sections.. hope to make it my main app to track market

K70%
by K####:

The watch list stopped synchronizing I signed out and sign back in to see if it was an issue still nothing. I no longer have a watch list it disappeared

B70%
by B####:

It seems there is a problem loading the watch list when too many stocks are loaded into it. Wireless network connection error when there is no connection problem. Only happens on LG tablet. Removing enough stocks from the list (on another device) fixes the problem on the LG tablet.
