About Bluetooth Smart Discover
Microchip’s SmartDiscover provides the ability to scan and connect to nearby Microchip Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripherals and listen to BLE broadcasters. Once connected to a BLE peripheral, the user can discover all the services and characteristics that are enabled in the peripheral. It lets the user read, write or enable notifications/indications as appropriate for the discovered characteristics. The standard advertising data types included in the advertisement data of the discovered BLE broadcasters can also be checked.

Download this app to find a lost Fitbit Charge which I lost doing yard work. This app pinpointed the location to within 6 inches using signal strength. The lost Fitbit was found in the top 6 inches of the yard waste recycling bin in leaves. Was amazed on how well it pinpointed the location, great save! Very good app works as expected on Samsung note 4 best of all no special permissions or advertising, good Bluetooth information too. Great 5 Star app thank you!
