Glucool Diabetes Premium for Android
Don't buy!! No help from Dev.! OnTrack is free,a better app.,and Dev. answers emails for help!
Just what I was looking for - ability to log blood glucose blood presssure, medication and weight. Readings can be editted and deleted via the journal feature. Wish list - export and import of data.
Does just what I need.
One of the better ones.
Love it... Use it every day! Would love you to add a comment section for when the doctor updates instructions. Basically the best app for diabetes that I've found.
Tracks everything I need. Add a password lock and I'll give it 5 stars.
Good app but wish I could add my sugar reading and what meds I took at the same time on the same page, and Med units only go to 200? Why?
This is a very easy app to use and manage your diabetes info for your health care professional.
Does just what I need.
When recording a glucose reading it will show the last reading. When changing the reading and saving it it will store the old reading ignoring what you just entered. There is a way to fix this but it should work out of the box. Also the author has not responded to an email on the bug. Reduced to one star due to no response from developer. No updates or fixes to this program since 2/2012.
.... cannot add a note like the Blood Pressure monitoring app.
Best one of them all. My medical provider loves it too!
This is one of the best App's I have come across for diabetes. I have been using this for the past couple of years. Just wish you could export your log/journals to Excel.
Decimal in carb field, better reminder feature and a carb table.
Great app with a great report you can email and print. Records everything I want.
Unable to edit if you input data in error, which in turn screws your stats up. Get ONTRACK, its free and it does all what glucool does plus editing...
I downloaded the lite version along with some others to try them out and this is the best app for tracking glucose records and meds that I've found!
Great! The best app I've found so far. I do wish the reports were more flexible and could be exported in csv format. Otherwise terrific!
Good app for phone and daily use, however to transfer info for your Doc, its too unorganized, BG and doses on different sheets, difficu 2 see patterns
1 glitch..BG stats & graphs show recording mg/dl OR mmol. I use mg/dl.problem is the stat reports are bass ackwards..mmol & mg/dl outputs are reversed
Great App.Lifesaver since leaving iPhone. Great in combo w/ MyFitnessPal app. Fast & great customer service (responded within 10 of sending email) :)
Great app would be perfect if it reminded you to test for keytones at 14 or above I would then give it 5 stars
This app is pretty, but it has a critical flaw that makes it useless. One would assume it is targeted at diabetics, but one would be wrong because according to Glucool, BG readings above 200 do not exist. If you try to enter one above two hundred with the +/- buttons, it flips to zero. And you cant even manually type in a 3 digit number because it will only let you type in 2-digit numbers. To get to even enter 100-199 you have to type in 99 and then hit + between 1 and 99 more times. Ridiculous.
No email support either. All numbered data can be printed or emailed. But notes cannot be sent to your doctor or printed out by email in any way. And unless your note is only a couple of words. You can't even read all of your note on your phone because of the way the app is set up. It only shows a couple of words of it later. The notes are important to us diabetics. But not the dev. Skip this app if you have diabetes. Try one that has all the good stuff we need. .
I'm a very fit, 8% body fat, non-diabetic, and this app is perfect for me. With this app and a glucose meter, I am able to see how different meals affect my blood sugar, and performance. Also, with both my parents having diabetes, it's important to keep an eye on my blood sugar. If I wait for a doctor to tell me I'm diabetic, I've already done damage. So diabetics, teach your kids to keep a close eye on their post meal sugar levels!
For the most part, the applicantion works good. It the report section the is not correct and they have not replied to my numerous emails on fixing it. The report will not show and graphics. Even though the report is set up to show it. I like to print a copy for my doctor.
Only thing I would like to see is being able to add readings in the combined report view. It can be hard to keep track of entries you have missed entering when you navigate the menu back and forth between add and report.
First the app is pretty good. Having to pay just to enter carbs is sad. Install Health Tracker: Diabetes and save time. The app has not been updated in over a year. I am unable to get a response from the developer. There are numerous free apps that are as good or better. I recommend installing several free apps that look good and try them. It is very likely you will find one you will like. Use several at one time, uninstall the ones you don't like and narrow down your choices. Good luck. Uninstalled!!
Good app. my meds are under the med report ok but will not show up on the combined report will not print out on report 4 my doc reason I bought! Help
I find it hard to understand why the developers are charging £4.99 for this app because it's terrible. It has so many flaws its unbelievable. I came from Apple to Android and now there is such a scarcity of apps for diabetics. The app is downright plain, basic and boring. I have emailed the developers SEVERAL times with suggestions for improvement and no answer. I think this is downright ignorant!! I doubt if the developers are diabetic. They should listen to suggestions of people who use the app. It seems to me the developer is happy to take money from people and that's it. Here's 1 star for you!
I like this a lot. It's straightforward and easy to understand. I bought the pay version even though I don't currently need the extra features. However the reports are not in a suitable format to present to ny doctor. I need a report that resembles a normal blood glucose and insulin dose diary with all the data for each day presented together. Alternatively something like CSV export would help.
Have used app for year. Easy to use. Good charting and tracking features. User can track bg #s, meds, insulin, wt, exercise, HBA1C, carbs, etc. Would b fantastic to b able to export all info to cvs file for additional analysis & printing for use with Dr visits. Highly recommend its use. This enables me to better control my bg & track results of all changes made to diet, exercise, & meds. Built in analysis gives multiple levels & forms of tracking results with easy to read visuals.
I printed out the report for the past 4 months for my doctor at the VA (glucose, BP and weight). After he saw how thorough it was, he now wants to recommend it to all his patients. I could see no flaws that one of the other reviewer saw. Perhaps is was corrected since his review. This review is dated April 29, 2014.
I have been using it for 2 week and found it very easy to use. One of the reasons I got this is to be able to email the results to my Doctor and found that very easy to do as well. Thank you
This is the best by far - Tried others no-cool
and much more in a fully customizable tracker. P. S. My doc LOVES this!
Just what I ws looking for - ability to log blood glucose blood presssure, medication and weight. Readings can be editted and deleted via the journal feature. Wish list - export and import of data.
I've been using Glucool premium for several months, it's really helped me track all the important info for my type 1 diabetes. I love being able to enter BG, carbs, and insulin using 2 combined screens. The level of configuration is excellent. I strongly recommend this app. Bernard Farrell, creator of Diaboogle.
Good user interface, intuitive and easy to use. Would be greatly improved if the data could be extracted as a csv file or similar generic data file for the user to then manipulate the data and create their own graphs/data tables.
