Mi Explorer

Through the recent System Updates (Beta Versions) to my Mi MAX 2, the default File Explorer was finally replaced with this version on the Google Play Store. Although it's great to not have two versions of the same app anymore, this new version is lacking support for "Default Apps" in the SD Card. When you are in the "Internal Storage" tab, you can long-press a file to select it and one of the available options is "Open in another app", which allows you to choose which app you want to use to open that particular file. However, this feature is missing for the entire "SD Card" tab so I must set all of the defaults in the "Internal Storage" tab before I can open the files on my SD Card properly. If that file type is only found on my SD Card (such as PDF), I also need to copy one file of that type into my phone's Internal Storage, set its default app then move back to my SD Card to view that file type properly from that point onwards. This issue even exists after the default app(s) were pre-selected in the "Settings" or "Cleaner" app, so I hope that this will be fixed soon. Other than that, the app is really great, so many thanks for that!

Why original mi explorer app was replaced by this worst app because I am not able to copy files to my usb drive. It show couldn't copy.

This new file explorer app very bad, doesn't show videos and other files quantity. This is very bad by xiaomi. Bring new mi explorer app

Hidden feature is missing unlike original mi explorer app. Please bring it to this app

Oh..! I am so sorry team. I just installed this app on my MI A1 and after selection of various files, I don't see any option to delete the files. So requesting you to come up with fixing all these bugs and let us enjoy. And requesting to release the messages app of MI which includes private messaging service. Best of luck.

Bug or what? "couldn't delete file" whenever I want to delete something specifically on my ext sd card of any file visible. I'm a fan of MI since redmi 1s.

Isn't it the same Explorer app that I have installed in my redmi note 4 or a different one?

FTP feature is missing , please bring it back, that's the most used feature by me, I can't live without it, in latest updates you removed that feature, please bring it back.

While using sd card, By default it will show phone storage folder structue but when i choose sd card from drop arrow then in drop arrow internal storage option is disappeared only internal shared storage is visible! Its a bug.

Extremely useful in mi A1 But please make it more UI friendly to same as MIUI 9

Copy cut paste is missing When I try to transfer multiple file from internal memory to SD card the options of cut paste is missing whare is that option

What the hell calculation does mi ? SD Card of 64 GB, actual size 59 GB, but mi explorer shows 64.07 GB (i think mi calculates 900 MB as 1 GB)
