mHelpDesk for Android
An absolute chore to use, way way too many bugs and glitches. The map coordinates are not right sometimes. This feels like someone's high school programming project rather than a professional tool to use on the job. Unfortunately we're forced to use this. Update: this app keeps getting worse and worse with every update, I'm 100% confident that the 5 star ratings are either paid for or more likely done by the team themselves or their families. Worst business related app I've ever used, these guys are a bunch of amateurs....
Unable to get customer signatures since update. No patch in sight
Edit: The update does address many if my issues. The Calendar starts each day at 12AM so I can't see my appointments when I first start it up. This wouldn't be quite so irritating if not for the fact that it has to download the appointments every time you want to see them. This is not a fast process. Like most things in this app this process is very slow. Usually while the appointments are downloading it becomes unresponsive and won't let you scroll down to look at the appointments scheduled when normal people are doing business. However, if you try and touch the screen to scroll down the app thinks you want to put something on the schedule at midnight and goes to a scheduling screen. Did I mention it's painfully slow? I've had to stand ackwardly for several minutes in front of a customer making invoices. On two occasions I made an invoice, got it signed and by the time I was out the door I realized it had completely disappeared and I had to make a new one in the truck with no signature. It also forgets my login information on a regular basis meaning something I'm just trying to peak at becomes a headache to view. I find myself going back to the Classic mHD app quite often.
1. Calendar is constantly having issues. The schedule is changed on the website and it doesn't refresh in the mobile app. Technicians will refresh the calendar several times and it still shows old appointments that have been moved to different days. 2. The My jobs tab also doesn't refresh. It lists jobs that are closed in the desktop version. The job status only refreshes after you open each individual job. 3. When a tech hits the Estimate or Invoice button it creates an estimate and invoice without a prompt asking if you would like to create an estimate or invoice. Technicians keep pushing the button by mistake and creating estimates and invoices. There should be a way to make this view only and not allow staff to do this.
Needs work. But, I'm happy to see you guys are actively updating functionality. Oh, please give us a month view on calendar.
Very expensive app there's so many other apps that offer much more for Less
Love it but needs some updates
Did not open the app today and it is draining my battery. Gave location info access because of map feature but by default it is then tracking EVERY location I go to. Do not make this default! I have this app for work and am not appreciating it. Make it use less battery
Toooooo expensive
Great app. Being able to accept credit card payments and email estimates and invoices in the field is a great time saver. I own a small contracting business, and I spend most of my days in the field, so this is perfect for my needs. If I have any complaints at all, it's the fact that there are 2 more buttons, one on top, and one on the bottom...they have different menus...perhaps rename one to settings?
I'm new to Home Advisor and the mHelpDesk family, thus, far their professional service is above reproach. Whenever I needed to talk to my mHelpDesk advisor about any questions or concerns, he (Darrell Mills) has been extremely prompt in returning my calls/ emails with the answer or suggestions. Now, as far as the software, I'm still in the process of learning about it and putting it thru the test phase, but so far it looks as if it will cut my work load (estimate/ invoice) in half.
So now you went from bad to over bloated and 10x worse. I have full admin rights. So if I am in the field now I have to see everything. .,,,,,,...hey mhelp you just made it extremely hard to weed through all the crap i just don't need while mobile. I don't think you actually listened to what people wanted. Instead you built what you think we want..................................................update....11/9/16..........................app still has continued issues. My techs consistently cannot perform. S
Program goes into offline mode for no reason. Every time I need to check my schedule, I have to force close the app, and reopen it. Huge pain for someone who needs to check multiple times per day
Thank you so much Leo. This guy helped me so much with this app. He made me realize that its always a good thing starting new things. He helped me with this app to make things more accurate with my future customers i really love this so much

Rex has been very helpful helping with the software. I find it very easy to use and if I have any issues Rex's always there to help. I like the fact that you can send out quotes/invoices, update your calendar and take credit card payments all through the same app
This tool is simple and easy to use. It is a huge advantage to use to make any small business look very professional. The staff is super helpful and does a great job at answering any questions. Alvin Simmons did a great job helping me set up and get familiar with mhelpdesk fast to rapidly grow my business. With all the resources that are ready to use, having mhelpdesk makes night and day in the field.

I am just getting started with the app. Mr Allan was verry helpful and knowledgeable about the program and very patients with me being i am not very computer literate. He took his time and walked me through it to make sure i understood the process and the way it works. I think it will be very helpful for my business for me and anyone else that is looking to advance and expand their business and thier exposure to the public and businesses that are looking help with their needs repairs and upgrades.
I like the fact that the features are all in one and easy to use. Quick way to get estimates signed in the field and sent out to the customers. Also allows for quick dispatch of bids to everyone. Emmanuel helped me to set everything up quickly.

M help desk has allowed me to simplify my estimate and invoice process Emanuel the representative has been very helpful answering questions and help me troubleshoot issues that came up I am looking forward to a long business relationship with M help desk

I like the customization to fit my needs of my business. Works with rental and leads I get from home advisor. Leo helped me in getting it setup initially. They setup my forms that I use in everyday and customized them.

System is great. Love that I can process payment and track files and customers. Very user friendly. Lots of help and pacience from Alvin simmons.

My staff can see everyone else's schedule all over the country. There is no way of seeing only their own schedule, which is all they care about. Ability to filter jobs for only theirs or all jobs is there, but not the schedule.

Would be better if you could import and export from contacts from your phone and make job,invoice, receipt from estimates from a drag and drop or push of a button
