About Network Guardian

Ever been wondering whether somebody was stealing your wireless connection? Or needed to check when your network-connected devices, such as a TV, cell phone have been turned on against your will?

Well, this is what this App is for. Once started, you’ll be able to identify all of the PCs, notebooks, phones, TVs in your LAN. And, since then on, any new one will be signaled to your attention and you’ll be able to set it as known as the other ones or say it’s a rogue device and keep it under surveillance. You will decide how often the App will scan your LAN and what to do when a new device is detected or even when it shuts down or gets out of range in your wireless coverage.

On the basis of four possible categories where each device could belong to, on your choice, you can set a different behavior either for when that device is turned on (that is, caught by the guardian) or when it gets out of reach or is simply turned off with different tools already present in your smartphone.
You could let your watchdog keep doing its job even while charging overnight and, in the morning, you won’t lose all of the events caught and, above all, they will be store in the App’s database for further recurrences.

In order to let this App keep on living and maintaining it has been necessary to improve the Ads circuit, but the ads free version is also available

Keywords: wireless, network device, watchdog, siren, scan, mac address, wake, notification, plugged, unplugged, monitor, network discovery, intruder, wi-fi, friend device, hacker wifi, leechers

At least you will be notified that something new is on your network, and you WILL NOT MISS that alert. Well that's sort of good and bad at the same time. It's seriously annoying that the vibration alert cannot be silenced or ajusted.

... But I'd like to have the ability of blocking from inside the app the mysterious address using my router! Or at least having a link to a "how to". Thank you devs. UPDATE: Dear dev, thank you for the kind reply. As an another unseasable suggestion, would it be maybe (im)possible to directly log into the router via your app, just as a bridge? Thank you in any case for your app!

All the features work as expected, except about the scanning frequency.

Installed it twice and it opened but consistantly crashed repeatedly over and over again. The only thing that did work was the constant ads, and more ads. This is a CRAP APP ! Don't bother downloading.

In-app ads are one thing, but for a "guardian" app to install a phone-wide ad engine (leadbolt) is insulting.

This app contains Leadbolt adware! Also, take a look at the other 'reviews' - do they all look genuine?
