MGCS Video of the Day

Proof of concept of an application to work with Red River Ski and Summer Area's "Video A Day" marketing program.

This application allows the user to play today's Video of the Day. It does this by reading the YouTube identifier from a file updated each time a video is published on the RRSSA YouTube channel. No searching required by the user. Just start the app and the video starts up. It can easily be replayed too.

Currently this application shows a movie of my dog Smokey fetching a stick. The real thing would show the most recent video published as described in the previous paragraph.

The production version would require two more files:

1) A file containing the video of the day's YouTube video ID, e.g. www.redriverskiarea.com/VAD
2) A "internet information/help" page describing all of the ways RRSSA uses the internet and how to join in.
