*Update(12/22/2015).. I have recently purchased a new phone, a Nexus 6P. The app now just sits spins "loading". This app is still useless. Anchor Bank has shifted their interests to funding businesses and is no longer customer based. They've closed branches and implemented fee based checking accounts.... (4/15/2014)"system error occurred. Try again or come back later". This has been happening for over a month. Currently the app is useless. Galaxy S4, Verizon network.

Just the worst use of a good idea I've ever seen. It's quicker to drive to the furthest possible branch and deposit your check than using the mobile deposit feature. Absolute trash code

While the check deposit does work, the lead time on it of two days isn't acceptable. But more often than not, I always get the system error occurred message. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or not. Also the method to activate the app is really backwards. They of course have no problem working on ipads, but try it on an android tablet, and you can't, because the stupid app can't activate with alphanumeric characters, forcing you to use the digits of the phone method of activation. And you can only use one phone number to activate. Really outdated. This and other issues means I'm not staying with them after the 6 month period, unless resolved.

I get an error message when I try logging in. This app hasn't been updated since Nov 2014!!! Anchor Bank really sucks at online banking all together.

Blocked out of account after failing password 3 times. On mobile. You NEED a complex password on a banking app, capital letters, numbers, symbols. Everything that's difficult to do on a phone. So with no warning, or chance to fix the lockout any other way but to call, I can't get to my money. And calling isn't always an option.

I downloaded the app to deposit a check, but the poor focus of the camera has made that impossible to do. The camera goes into focus and then goes back out leaving me with a blurry photo. This would be better if the camera could focus better or if I could use the camera on my phone.

I found this app much better and easier than having to go through the website. I have not used check deposit yet, but most of my checks are electronically deposited so who cares. I am happy with this app.

This app use has accomplished a lot since its release. Check Deposit is slick and reliable. Well done Anchor Bank.

It used to support mobile deposits but as of 8/12 it is gone. That was the main reason for using the app. No explanation given. Help line says they are working on it.

Logging in gets stuck on the loading spinner on all of my devices. This is awful.

Just terrible in terms on deposits via camera phone.

I requested an option to remember my username and now the app has one. Several people mentioned depositing money by taking a picture of a check and now that function shows as supported, though I haven't tried it yet. One more thing and I'll give 5 stars. Sometimes I'll be signed on longer than the time limit. When that happens I get automatically signed off. I have to reenter my password, and then everything gets reloaded. Could you make it so the app doesn't have to reload after I enter my password? Thanks

This is just useless. This bank is behind on the times. With almost every other bank you have the ability to deposit a check through the app and using your camera... not Anchor! Horrible bank, terrible customer service... they nickel and dime you TO DEATH... their fees are higher then every other financial institution I've looked into and yet they can't even have an app that worth the space it takes up on your phone! I'm closing my account and going to a credit union because I've had enough.

Thank you for finally fixing this! So much better now. It was really bad before.

It will never correctly load and forces me to get a new activation code, it it manages to stay open.

Liked the old app better, can rarely get on this one. It always says there is a problem with the server. Thinking about switching banks.

This is so easy to use and convenient. But I will say recently I haven't been able to access it for some time. I get the loading screen and then nothing but a white screen thats blank. Please help.

Had a Huawei Ascend Y and app would crash every 2 minutes. On new ZTE Valet and now no crashing. Again, I like the functions of the app, but I would like the app to remember my username. I don't want it to remember my password, but if it would remember my username, like how Yahoo and Google do, it would save some time. Also the initial startup sequence could use some more details. It says "loading", but not what it's loading. If I knew what it was loading I wouldn't mind waiting for it.

I no longer live near an ATM for Anchor Bank, but have been with AB for years. When I want to deposit a check, I have to drive 90 miles - WHEN will you, like most awesome banks, give us the ability to take a picture of a check for deposit?

After getting it set up, it crashed twice during the log in process, then, after finally logging in, crashed again (requiring me to log in again). You can, with about the same amount of effort as pulling teeth, get your basic account stats, but it's quicker and less error prone to crawl to the nearest computer and use only your nose to move the mouse and press the keys to log in there.

So far this app works great no lags or anything.

I downloaded this app as soon as I found it (less than a week after Anchorbank made it available) and it did take a bit to get it to work, but Okay!

Its pretty useful tool. Especially for banking on the go.

Glad this finally became an app. Been waiting for a while with this. It's a pretty great app!
