You need Internet connection to initiate the call. The other person need to have the app installed. If not, the other caller received an SMS to call some local number to join the call or to install the app, which is annoying. So please, don't advertise something you don't provide. And one more thing. The call quality is poor. Apps like Viber or WhatsApp has a better call quality. Make it as advertised, and I will change the ratings.

As pointed out in other reviews, this app DOES NOT allow me to call international phone numbers, the person whom we'd like to call need the app installed in order to connect the call, DOES NOT work without an internet connection.

"The number you are calling cannot accept your call. please send him an Invite to install Meucci and you will be able to make free unlimited calls to this number" - This is the error it keeps throwing when I try to make a call to India. Edit - The numbers I tried calling, all are GSM phones. So, the explanation given by dev reply isn't correct..

I find the option to make calling group amaizingly easy!! love the app, i would recommend it to anyone that use whatsapp chat for groups, now with this app you can make calls to these groups

What do you mean by “not having to install the app”? Another technical secret. Your friends don’t have to install Meucci to be able to talk to you, to chat with you and so on. If you call or text a friend who doesn’t have the app, they will get a SMS message inviting them to click a link – and they’re connected! Of course, we’d love it if you could encourage your friends to install Meucci – so they’ll be able to start their own group chats and calls and unlock the true potential of Meucci.
