The rain radar screen is not as smooth as IPhone. I am hit with loading screens between each picture even when in 4G and ultra fast broadband areas. Any change of creating a smooth transition for Android? Other than that it is pretty cool

It cannot search for places. It has some standard places hidden in a menu that is hard to find. The inability to search makes it useless. Great if you never travel anywhere else.

You took greymouth off the tides list....WHY.....

U got tide times for south island ports and nothing else? From the Web browser I can get marine and surf with data from the info  generated by MetOcean Solutions Ltd's, why not on the app

A marine forecast app should enable quick access to forecasts and not slow or stop access with lifejacket advertising. Use a banner, sure, but removing or reducing access to forecasts is less safe than making them readily available.

Only has a handful of locations, Taranaki is not one of them

Good and helpful coastal app for Kowhai Coast for beach and boating.

This app is useless. It doesn't even display 24hrs of forecast! To be useful it needs to show the full forecast for each region including the outlook - not just the forecast for what's left of today. So disappointing.

Metservice provide an excellent surf report on their website, but the app lacks this for some unknown reason. Would have kept this on my device and used daily if it included that

Can you include the Coastguard Nowcasting wind conditions ? That would round it off as a total marine weather app. :-)) Home page forecast white text on picture ... Unreadable :-(

What about the largest inland harbour in the country, the Kaipara, and only an hour from Auckland cbd. Does not make sense.

Only 3 stars because from kapiti all the way north up the west coast till ya get up Auckland way there is no recreational forecast for that stretch of good fishing an boating coast!

On Samsung 10.1 tablet the opening screen is only in landscape, but then all other screens are all in portrait. This is very annoying.

No good as I live in Dunedin. Only goes as far south as christchurch

Can not set location to any town south of Christchurch, and can only give you generic tides for Dunedin with no info on which beach it is referring to. Great but needs work put into it.

Very useful tool for every recreational boatie. Fast and easy to use. All we need now is to be able to use our smart phones as locator beacons I'f we get on the sh- t
