iExit Interstate Exit Guide for Android
This was a fantastic and must have app on our 2000+ mile drive. Especially with 2 kids who needed restrooms asap most of the time. We are about to take our yearly trip so I made sure to download it again!
The basics are fine but the gas prices are at least 2 days old and that delay in reporting is unacceptable.
So far so good!!!
Have been on a long road trip, and often want to consolidate stops. Excellent for finding gas and food at any given Interstate freeway exit. Only wish it would integrate with Google maps /navigation to be able to add a stop rather than replace current navigation.
My husband and I have used this app on several trips. It has always worked well and we've never had any trouble with it locating us. It may not always be completely up to date, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect at any exit.
We love it, we also downloaded the gas price portion of the app.... Awesome app, wish I had this 30 years ago. LoL
We used this app from Arkansas to Utah and back pulling our 5th wheel Travel Trailer. Have used Next Exit but it's a large book and hard to use. If you develop a pay version to fund this app, I'm in.....Love it, saves me time and money, signed up for gas prices....Thanks again
Drove 5600 miles from Georgia to California and back. This app was fantastic, always showing us what was up ahead. My only complaint would be that it only works on the interstate.
See a lot of apps come and go. This one might not be used a lot by me BUT it is something I like having on hand.
But it's missing some highways. Like US-59 or I-69 in Texas
Just downloaded this based on a recommendation from a friend. Nice concept, but would really like to see yelp integration. I prefer local diners and dives to fast food fare and yelp reviews would be helpful in sorting out the wheat from the chaff. Groupon integration would be plus. And gas pricing is a paid add on??? Hmm ....
Great concept if only it worked! Always crashes. I deleted and reinstalled several times with no improvement. Deleting for good
Really handy but crashes a lot
This is exactly what I wanted, but we were only a mile away from an exit and it did not register it but the next one. Also got off for gas per spp, but station was not there. Worked well other times.
Tech support has not bothered to respond for my request for help during my entire trip
I like to use it to plot my trip in advance, to find easy access gas, food and motels. Great app.
Why are gas prices free in ios but not android, and why no map feature?
Perfect for road trips, thanks!
Iexit
It is GREAT! However it can't find the highway I am on or keep up with me IF it does find it at least half the time.
No longer has free gas prices. I have to go back and forth to my app Gas Buddy
I like this app. It gives you info in real time. I was wondering why the same app on IPAD will give you info based on your location not just on the interstate
Why are gas prices free in ios but not android, and why no map feature?
Tell us we can check gas prices and then want to charge for something that we get free with GB.
This app makes finding places along your route ridiculously easy compared to all other options. It's amazing how quickly you can find what you need when you don't have to decide if each result is technically near you but actually out of the way. I think iExit is still a work in progress, but it is already extremely useful and I can't wait to see how it continues to improve with each update
Great app really helped along our cross country road trip was pretty spot on at every exit we actually took. My favorite part was how it showed where the state borders. However it would freeze up at times and you would have to restart the app.
It would be great if it included other highways, such as US 20 which goes all the way across the United States. Will you be adding other highways?
The app can't find me now....disappointing since it was superb at helping us on frequent road trips on deciding where to eat and get gas :(. Edit- using again but it frequently seizes up AND misses crucial rest stops!
If you want an app with a beautiful color scheme, look elsewhere. But if you want something that gives you all the exact information you need to know for planning stops on a road trip, this app is perfect.
Easy to use and nicely laid out, but the information for the exits is almost useless. Gas stations and stores listed are not correct. Removing.
Love using this app when my husband and I travel! We can find all our favorite places along the way. By far the easiest appt I used in some time, don't change a thing!
Inaccurate. Not enough information. First two times I used it I was on a long trip and was trying to locate a dunkin donuts. First attempt was inaccurate, the directions were opposite. The second time (3 exits later) the app said the dunks was .68 mi. off the highway but there was no indication on the highway signs that there even was a dunks off that exit, and we were unable to locate a dunks where the app suggested. Deleted this and found a new app.
Shows exits far away but none nearby.
It finds you, it has recognizable icons, distance from Interstate, Every place has a link with a phone number, a description. Plus lots more and it's free and registration is optional.
I downloaded iexit yesterday and was thrilled by it. Now it won't locate me????
Find every exit see what it has and how far off the road it is for you. Must have for interstate travel!
Incredibly useful. Love love love it.
Constant "iExit has stopped" errors
App provides great info when it works. I spend a fair amount of time driving multi state trips using the interstate system. This app is unable to find my location by GPS 95% of the time. GPS on phone works fine S5 using Google maps to navigate the same trips. Fix the location bug and it would be great.

It works really well, but Google Assistant in conjunction with Google Maps seems to have usurped it's functionality. However, if you have an older Android phone that won't get Google Assistant, this app still has significant value.
