Movie Collection & Inventory

I would have given this app full Stars but I'm giving it one star because movies started to disappear as I listed them. If I rescaned them and it said the movie had already been scanned and it would be duplicated if I wanted. I have a very large collection and it gets hard when you go shopping to remember what have and don't have. This is what made this app useful.But if the app is going to not record what I have then it's not useful to me.

Hi, I like the app, great for storing my large collection of DVDs so I don't double up anymore, however I would suggest you add to sort out by category then alphabetical as I notice it isn't there and I prefer it alphabetical but also in categories like TV and documentary. Hope you do this update then I can give 5 stars. Update: the app wiped my dvds from it and uninstalled itself going to reinstall and see what happens. Thanks

I was a little worried at first because of other reviews. But I love it. I hand wrote over 300 movies down then I found this app. Will never write them again! Only thing I would like to see is format option of "DVD/VUDU" I have many of them.

I tried scanning 3 different movies and it gave me the same six wrong suggestions. I scanned Marvel Civil War, HP and the Deathly Hallows part 1, and Divergent. All are current and popular movies. If if can't scan, there is no use for using it.

If you are looking for a way to store all of your movies quickly on your phone, this application is for you. I buy movies for next to nothing at pawn shops and this is a great way to insure I don't buy duplicates. I can scan them in and the list is automatically updated. You can back them up on the cloud as well in case you destroy your phone.

Free, search by category, you do have to manually put in the category if you scan it though, which doesn't seem necessary. Best app I've found when you have 200+ dvd/Blu-ray P.S. scanner worked for all but one or two if my movies... idk what was wrong with the other reviewers, mines fine :)

I think this app is great I just think if you add a place for the company who made the film the director also maybe. But specifically a place for the YEAR of the film it would be awesome. Also I was wondering who does the synopsis for the movies because some of them aren't that great so if it's an outside source possibly it might be able to be fixed. Also if you were to add a place where you could add if it's a special edition or widescreen edition it would be cool to

Does this app only recognize one barcode reader. I deleted the one it insists on because the image was to out of focus. I installed a different reader and it works great but apparently this app doesn't recognize it. This used to be one of my favorite apps but it's only gone down hill. Misreading codes, giving the wrong movies. Insisted code reader don't work. I've been adding movies by hand but that defeats the whole purpose.

Great app to catalog your collection and keep track of what you have if you're out and about. The Barcode scanner works wonderfully and made it quick and easy to get all your videos onto your list. You can leave notes and ratings to a movie. I thought it was neat to include a random movie generator if you can't decide what to watch. I wish it was more visually appealing. It would also benefit if there was a link to rotten tomatoes or another good review site.

Was very excited to use as I scanned in the DVDs, Blu-rays I was somewhat happy. As I went back to look at the number of DVDs I had scanned I had scanned over 500 Blu-rays and I look back it only said 125, damn no way and I still had another 500 to go. Justin Blu-rays so it tells me this app is no good! I even attempt to buy it but it wouldnt accept my money! Fix it, pleAse!

Just started using it and so far so good. Had a problem scanning one barcode in my collection and would like to suggest being able to enter manually in bulk scanning tool as well. Thanks. Edit: When scanning the barcode it would be nice if a box set was entered as all the seperate movies, also have more fields import from database. (category, rating, running time, etc)

Simple, easy-to-use app. It's great being able to have my movie collection with me so I can avoid double or even triple dipping movies. The barcode scanner simplifies things so much. Just wish there was a place to put in year of release.

The database is somewhat Limited. I tried searching for "Star Trek original motion picture collection" and only came up with the widescreen collection. I don't own the widescreen collection so it does not allow for the standard collection. I uninstalled immediately.

I recently tested more than 30 apps like this. Out of the top 30, I ranked this one #8. It has import/export and backup/restore capabilities, but only to PRO users. The $3.99 seems a little steep for an app of this quality. I didn't try the scanner (which many others have stated doesn't work), so otherwise, you have to manually enter everything. Never gonna happen. Over 2,000 titles would take quite a long time.This app is directed more toward DVD/Blu-Ray/VHS collectors instead of just movie watchers. So it doesn't do me much good. The app really doesn't look too good, but it functions just fine.

Great for keeping track of your DVD'S, BLU-RAY'S and other videos. Would be much better if one could include CD'S, gaming system games and any other media laying around! Wouldn't hurt to be able to add your own genre, like XXX or whatever you own...

after uploading my entire collection, I was informed by the app that I had to buy the full version to save any of it! shame in you jerk!

I love having this app. Especially the part where I can log who I borrowed a movie too. I have "misplaced" SO many movies before this app. Also, now when I go to a media sale, I won't purchase any doubles.

It works great. Mever jad.anything that worked better.i now know what i have and what i need when i go to the store. The wish list helps when someone wants to get me a movie. I just might upgrade.

Working great so far. Scans fast, only had a couple of missed scans. Rescanning worked, holding the phone steady is key. Wish I could add more descriptions under categories or add my own. Unless of course I can and just haven't found that part yet.

I really like this app. very easy to use I only wish it would double check titles also. If the movie is wide or full screen it will let you save the same title twice! But it is awesome though!!!! That's the only reason I put four instead of five stars!

Good idea but if I can't link my devices to the inventory or share the inventory of the dvds with my bf then there's no point. I'm not going to scan all my dvds in his cell. Being able to have dual lists and link it like the out of milk app would be wicked for a family

Needed to keep my movies all in one place without having to call home and asking someone to check if we have it.. love this app

I have done my entire movie collection, it puts them into several different categories (abc, rating, horror,etc) you save it and can send it to your other computer phone or husband so you don't have to retype the entire thing, you can say if someone is borrowing it, you can scan the bar code to have all the info uploaded!!!

You really didn't give me much time to see if I like it or not. You should weight for a couple of days so people can check it out first. So far it's not that bad.

Works great and setup has been a breeze. Very happy until finding out paid version is the only way to export and print file. I have 3 phones & tablets. Do I pay for each device download or once for the account (accessible by all my devices?) Wow prompt response received. Glad to know it's account based, hence accessible on any of my devices. Can't wait till the morning to continue scanning in 800+ more DVDs to go.....

I have finally entered my entire library. It was easy. The scanner was something I had to get used to but when I got it it worked great. I saved it to the cloud and will share the information with my daughter. I LOVE IT!!!

Adding my movies is easy and quick. I am most impressed with the speed at retrieving the movie info after scanning. Wow! And the import/export tools make this app everything I need.

I have been using this app for a few years never had a problem till today, my phone crashed and had to get a new one so i downloaded the app again i had saved ALL my movies just the day before it crashed now i went to port them back and 30% of the movies GONE i had over 5000 movies added now it says i only have a lil over 3000 thats 2000 missing n i spent 3 to 4 years on these now all that time waisted. I use to put every movie i ever bought on a index card but i stopped doing that once i found this app.

I appreciate the options to add for each listing and categories used to select my movies for viewing! However the chosen scan app to add movies does not work at all for me...

User-friendly. Love the bar code scanner option. Would love to be able to choose more than one category or to add tags. Adding a year would be useful for me as well but I can do that in the comment section.

I love this app I can scan all my movies and keep them in a safe location. It allows me to to keep a record of all the movies I own and for me to create a wish list. I only wish that when I buy sets with multiple movies on it that it would list each movie in the set I have a lot of sets with 50 movie or lees/more it would be nice to have them all listed so I don't by duplicates. Thabks for a great way to store movies.

A little problem with Barcode entry on some of the older movies from the $5.00 bin.

Easy to add movies. Thank goodness because we have over 2000 movies. Would be nice if you could add multiple categories to movie. Also if we could edit the movie by alphabet and numbers. The reason is if you have a 4 pack it counts as 1 movie instead of 4. This would make it easier and more accurate to know how many movies you have. Great app, best yet. Will be buying soon.

Use it alot to keep track so don't duplicate. Got a new phone and easy to transfer my data

Def helpful with my collection. Maybe now ill stop buying duplicates because ill be able to just check my app. Probably will purchase paid version as time goes on too

I love that I can keep inventory of all our stuff! I would like to see more categories or to be able to chose multiple categories, such as a romantic comedy or college humor. Also I wish the other category choice had a follow up write in so you could write yourself what the other is.

Update: the developer just deleted all of my movies because I left a bad review. Horrible!!! He also updated this app, and completely ignored those of us who have lots of dvds. I the list still stops at X, none of the movies entered after that will show up... no longer works correctly. I have 942 dvds in my collection and it doesn't show any movies past the letter W. Pointless if I cant see what movies I have that start with x y or z. There is no mention of a limit to the number of movies that can be saved. I've used this app for years and just saw this start happening. :(

A must have app for film collectors. One suggestion for genre collectors like myself; a year box or selection is a must since hollywood now remakes most films. Thanks for my most used app!

I love this app! I have a lot of movies and can't keep track of them all. This app does exactly that. When I'm at walmart and want to buy a movie, I just pull up the app to see if I own it already. It's been a real lifesaver!

Just what I needed so I don't have to carry my log book with me everywhere..I have a huge collection of movies !!
