I've really enjoy this app. I've got a lot of movies and I move a lot so being able to use this as a reference to where they go is great. But I'd love it even more if there was a option to put in the year of release and the fact that the images very so much even when you scan them in it's a bit of a pain. It would also be nice to have the picture of the movie by the name instead of a dvd/marker image.

M70%
by M####:

This is one of the best and most useful apps I have. Well worth the cost. As a request to the developer, it would be nice to be able to mark movies as hidden, and to be able to filter out one format. I still have a huge laserdisc collection, but it makes it hard having them in the list when friends are looking for movies to borrow.

This app is not that great, a great way to keep from buying a dvd twice, But my only flaws is my Samsung Tab 4 and another tablet I have, for some reason will not let me use the barcode scan, and about all the movies it brings up are posters, and not much about the movie as far as date of movie, length of movie, who stars in the movie, why not have info about the movie other then a poster and no info on it, and sometimes I know I've added movies but later they disappear, but other then that a fair app for free. But could be a lot better.

J70%

Only issue I've found is that the bar code look up doesn't always pull in the movie title info... you have to scan it a few times. Other than that it works great.

1/No field for release date 2/No option do find duplicates 3/Don't use ANSI for exporting. We use special characters to write out here 4/csv format is not compatible with excel. add ; as a option for field separation 5/No field for original name 6/Don't care about paying customers problems. Useless if you want to import movie database from other software.

This is the best application I have ever purchased!!!! Don't know how I ever lived without this app. I just purchased an I phone and can't find this app any where!!! Very upsetting.. please contact me I would love to have this on my new phone!!!!

I like the app but I've got a lot of movies to add and it would be a lot easier for me if the barcodes scanned were recognised as I've found that not too many of the Australian barcodes come up. It also would be good to be able to add new formats too as there isn't one for 4K UHD.

In the free version it says you can transfer your files to the paid version, except when you try and transfer it says that function is not available in the free version. It would be 5 stars if it would do what it said it could do. I did buy the full version.

How about adding an Australian rating system, e.g. M, MA 15+, R, etc. Also, when you use the filter tool, it lists my collection with a "Music Lists" subheading... not that it worry me - this app is about movies NOT music!

Now I have to enter everything again. 3 hours of effort gone. Not cool.

Have had the app since 09/12/15 without a problem. The creators did an excellent job. Sure comes in handy when buying new movies. I can double check to see if I already have it or not and in what format. The wish list comes in handy also. Good job.

The search function is terrible. Everytime I use it a ton a movie posters pop up and not the movie I am looking for. Do that many people collect so many movie posters that they need an app to catalog them?

H70%
by H####:

It would be really great to be able to search by genres. Also be able to go back to original search especially if the item you choose was the wrong one.

T70%
by T####:

Please allow for the updating of movie info other than just with the barcode scanning. A search using the name should also be able to download the cover and synopsis of the movies. Other than that, a fantastic app

I70%

I wish there was an option to view loaned to list. Other than than I have no complaints. It beats packing a small notebook of my movie list around to make sure I don't buy duplicates.

M70%

Allows quickly scanning of your movie collection. It would be nice to scrub the database for doublets in the app, now I have to export and scrub and import again.

M70%
by M####:

Need a field for year make - have several remakes also if you could have the app draw more data than just the title, like rating, genre and date made

I really like this app. But I need to know what I'm doing wrong I keep having this wish list that I don't know I'm putting in. Thank you

I was able to input most of my collection by just scanning the bar codes, very easy to use. Also, export, backup, and restore worked like a charm.

Love this app. Only reason for 4 stars is my categories don't get backed up to the server so when I restored to my new phone I had a lot of blanks in my collection.

M70%
by M####:

I wish that when we import/ export the movie list to an email, that we could save it as an itemized list like we see on here vs having to format so many symbols. I have approx 670 different movies on this list so it'll take me a long time to clean up the list that came in email.

R70%
by R####:

Very easy to use. But can I make 1 suggestion? How about a way to make a list like if we want to post a certain group like our wrestling dvds to sell. We could put them in an order and copy paste the list.

M70%
by M####:

How about folders for each genre, just so it is a little more organized and easier to look at, rather than a long list.

M70%

This app is excellent and just what I need to catalog my movie collection. I do wish it had a format for 4K UHD.

M70%
by M####:

I'd like, in addition to the ability to set a default format, to be able to add-edit-remove formats. Most of my library is BD or digital. Currently i have to scroll far down the list of formats to make this selection. Thanks.

This is great for Movie collections. I can see what I have so I don't purchase doubles. It also will backup your info so if you get a new phone you can reload your movie info.

"Filter Music" is at the top of the filter screen in my paid version. Otherwise, wonderful! I love the multiple scanning, the fast retrieval of movie info, and especially the ability to import and export info to and from spreadsheets. Moving to the paid version required one hoop to jump through. I had to backup the database of the free version to the server, then restore it to the paid version. But think of this as a good thing. You get to learn about one more of the many great features of the app. Yay!

App was easy to use. The bulk scan mode is nice. I would like to be able to sort on box sets which sometimes are collections based on key actors, or genres. Fields for multiple lead actors would be nice. Sometimes, I've got a movie title as a single DVD and as part of a set. Box set data fields would be nice if each title could be listed as a separate field. A sort on titles would let me cull out duplications. I did have some of the scan bogies mentioned in other reviews, but the skip/new scan allowed me to get a clear scan. I was able to scan all my DVD cases and box sets in a couple hours. Storage is a nice bonus for backup.

This app is pretty good at helping my family to organize our movies. However, I would rate it higher if I could add new categories instead of renaming existing ones. I discovered this after buying the app. Either way it is still worth it to buy it. Oh, I almost forgot that at times when I scan the bar code it gives me wrong information. I will rate higher if changes are made.

Love this app. Keeps me from doubling up on movies or not buying due to being unsure of what's in my collection. Only wish you had put an arrange by genre option in it. I sort my movies on the shelf by genre and this would have been very helpful. Otherwise a truly awesome and well thought out app. Having written programs myself, I understand the difficulty of trying to anticipate everything a customer would want.

No problems upgrading to paid version, (just to be able to export to Excel file for a printed version.) Scanner buggy although rarely. (just gives bar code #). Doesn't allow for duplicate input, which is a major plus. Movie pic tiny on my phone or missing. Taking my own photo big help. Just don't want to do that for the hundreds that we have. Learning to tweak to my liking. Other comments helpful. Thanks to developers too.

Absolutely the best app I own. This app is so easy to use and very intuitive. The backup/restore functions are a true bonus. My one suggestion to make it even bettet would be to add a field for the years. So many remakes and it would be a great field for the spreadsheet and sorting. That's a minor quibble though. App performs flawlessly.

M70%

I like this app very much but would like to be able to create my own custom movie type categories instead of being stuck with someone else's idea of how to categorize my collection. I would like to be able to add my own categories and remove the ones I don't want and be able to set the program to use Canadian rating system instead of the American one. I love the easy to use backup system. Thanks for a great set of collections apps.

I notice you add different combos for movie format all the time how about instead have it be a multiple select of different types and then allow the user to choose the thumbnail to use. It can show all the formats when you click the movie to see its information. The same multi select would also be great for genre as well. Also a area for the year would be great with all the remakes these day.

This app is great! We have tons of movies and I am tired of sifting through them... needed an easy way to catalogue them. The only thing I don't like is the scanner is a little temperamental but other than that I love it.

My wife and I buy all our movies at pawn shops when we are traveling and I got tired of forgetting what we had and buying the same thing twice. Well we don't have to worry about that anymore, this app is perfect and easy to scan the movies right in!

Still does not ignore "A" and "The" at the beginning of the title when using the filter tool? Also, can you fix the way it lists numbers? It puts 1, 10, 2, 3, etc. I'd like Season 10 to go after 9, not 1. Thanks.

by M####:

Just a couple suggestions for your next update. Please include the following to the format list: DVD/Ultra Violet, DVD/Digital and Amazon and Disney Anywhere (or let us make up our own). And a better way to print my list without having to use another program with the options of selecting what I want to print and be able to filter the categories . (Not everyone going to want everything on their reports). And under categories to be able to select more than one(some movies will fall under more than one like McClintock is a western and a comedy). Thank you will be looking forward to future updates.

It is awesome to have my entire collection on my phone on the go anytime all in alphabetical order also it is nice to know how many I have in my collection. There is an export and import feature to transfer if you decide to change your device. Also a great feature is to add to wishlist.

M70%
by M####:

The only thing I can think of to add would be a notice that a movie was already on the list and give me a chance to add it or not. One other annoyance is that although I have a Barcode scanner installed the software wants a different one that wants access to too much of my phone.
