Book Collection & Catalog

So is there a way that people could help widen the catalog and fill in information that then will come up for other people when they search for the book? Personally I would love to help by putting the information for some of my books in if it's going to help others. Also I do suggest adding a separate spot for ISBN and the Barcode because if you search by one in May not find the book but if you search by the other it might. Lastly I was wondering if you could add a spot for the illustrator of the books I think that would be cool. But overall I love the app and the concept keep working to make it better cause it can always improve but Thank You.

A little clumsy at times, and no ios version hold this app back. Also the scan and ibn lookup often yield no results. Aside from these problems, this app has a great deal of functionality and is a real life saver at the bookstore when looking at what we have and do not have. The wish list feature is great corvtjat as well.

I thought this app was great! And it still is if you want something basic. I use another app now for movies and books, a free app, that pulls from IMDB and IBDB that gives much more details of the book that you enter. The new Database also allowes the user to edit the veiw of your DB, add selections, it auto fills for you, and it allows you to add your own photos, ect. And the best part, the new App is free and does it all for free.

Wish it worked! Scan barcode, search for data, get book cover photo but nothing else: No Title, no Author, nothing! Creator ought to check similar apps for better ISBN lookup databases. Otherwise, this has every function I want, except for a faster built-in barcode scanner.

This is the Best app for keeping track of all the books I have, (over 2000). When shopping I can scan in a potential new book to see if it is already in my book library. Love it.

When I scroll down I cant see the last book. It wont let me see it or view it from the scroll list.....

Addition of book series information would be good as to know if what books your missing from a series without manually searching

I have tons of purchased e audio books and was hoping to catalog those easily with author and book title, but doesn't seem like this is the app. I was excited reading that I could add wishlist, as this is where I would like to track books from a particular series that I haven't yet read.

I am liking this app! My suggestion would be to add more Categories. For example, Romantic Comedy; Romantic Mystery; Action Comedy; Suspense; Adult Romance; Historical Fiction; Contemporary Fiction; Non-Fiction; Novel; etc. I would also suggest to provide the option of multi-categorize, some books fit under more than one category. Finally, is there any way you can add an author and series sorting option? This changes would definitely increase my ratings and recommendations.

I buy alot of books used at library and what have you. This has saved me so many times from buying the same books!

I've used this app for years expressly for keeping track of my graphic novels and it's been great. With a few tweaks, I would happily give stars. I do agree with others that I would love a filter for authors in an update. One more suggestion: could we please get an entry for Artist in addition to Author? I'd like to have entries for Steve Ditko, Takeshi Obata, and the like alongside just the authors.

It gets the front cover image but NONE of the book information! Complete waste of my time.

What good is a book list if you can't even sort by author, genre,title.do I really have to do a search to check out every book as to whether I've read it before?

..would like the option to sort the wish list by author rather than book title. Other than that works pretty well for my liking.

When the ISBN is actually recognized (rarely) the title and cover are added but never the author's name

This app is useful AND user friendly! It keeps track of the books we have and the books we want. Very handy!

Need an app that allows me to select multiple items and apply an action to all of them, e.g., move them all from box one to box two. Or twelve of the books in this box back onto the shelf in my office, and five from there into my car until I get home, then those five plus the three that are already in the car into my living room. Doesn't everybody?

I am liking this app I only wish I could connect it to my email so I can have the info on my phone and tablet and make sub catagories to list series of books together in the correct order

I used to write down the titles and authors of books I wanted in a notebook that I carry in my purse. This is so much nicer! Books are alphabetized. I don't mind adding the author's name. The app makes keep track of my book lists so easy that to add the author's name myself is not something I would complain about.

I have just downloaded this after reading through a couple of similar apps. The thing that made me pick this was its ability to restore from server. I have just had a horrible experience with Book Catalogue where after my phone died, I could not retrive the database from the SD card that I had backed up. Absolutely pissed. The problem I foresee with this app is its inability to have authors added. As a person that read books according to authors thats a major drawback. I would also not be able to refer to it quickly when in store.

When you scan the barcode, app adds book title but not the author. Would rate higher if the author name was also added

Very nice app and easy to add my library. Could use sub-categories for book series that all fall within a subgenre (e.g. Star Wars, Star Trek, Dragonlance, Dr Who, etc)

Restore had been restored so I've added a star. Too bad the author info is never inputted when I scan a book, even if the title and cover are.

Fails immediately after opening on Galaxy S5

I used to tell everyone how great this app was, but now I can't recover my Book Collection over 1000 books. Every time I've tried to retrieve my books I get error messages. The developer has not responded to numerous requests for help. It's time to force Foogle to do something because this app is NOT working.

The concept is great, but the scanner could use some help. It missed several books and even got some wrong. I was hoping to generate call numbers but it doesn't look like it does that. Still, a great idea - just needs some polish.

Last book covered by ads. Have to change author from first last name to last name, first in order to alpha. But found 98% of my books! Library thing on laptop is better... For now...

Wish it had the ability to show if it was a hard cover first edition and even what printing it came from. I have multiple first editions of the same book from different printings. Also, add Book Club Edition to the format drop down. Would buy the paid version for these features.

I like this app, but when I upgraded to the paid edition, I could not see any of my books. I am already through 5 boxes and now have to start over. Bummer. Update: I exported from Book Free to server and then imported to the paid version. Took a couple minutes, but everything is there. I'm happy.

Was a great app. Now tgat ive updated my phone I cant restore my collection back. I'll have to scan and type all 1200 books back in. Bs. Sent a request for help and nothing.

Almost every artemis fowl book comes up as BOOK with a picture of a baby book. The code is printed on the cover and not a sticker. And the last book in list is covered up by add/toolbar
