Beer - List, Ratings & Reviews

Great way to organize all the beers you've tried. The statistics features are great and you can choose different ways to display beers. The size of the fields--where you enter info could be much bigger--not because you're limited with characters--but they're hard to edit. My biggest beef, however, is that I switched to an iPhone and THERE'S NO APPLE VERSION!!! Please make an Apple version!

Wish styles were sorted by main type then minor. Like Ale Belgium, Ale Pale. ... And alphabetical. All ales together, all stouts, etc. Would make it much easier to find. Love the backup feature.

Only app that you can scan the Barcode off the can so you do t have to type it

You can only use full features if you buy full app and I find it too pricey and you could at least include Canadian provences when locating brewer.

Loaded the free version to determine if the + version was worth buying. Impressive amount of information stored, good UI, backup and restore available. Scanner is almost useless. It should really populate brewery, ABV, etc automatically. Lack of this feature makes it unquestionably not worth the $4 price tag for +.

Helps me track the many beers i drink so i don't buy that bad beer that i forgot about again. Needs to specify if price is per bottle, can, 6 pack, case, etc. I recommend the app. No bugs noticed.

Just starting to use it but like it so far. Suggestions - 1. Put styles selector in alpha order. 2. Allow import from CSV file. 3. Copy/duplicate function for adding similar beers.

Would be nice if the last beer you drank or added was at top every time instead of having to find it in your beer list. Also UI could be cleaner.

It's a good app, but this app doesn't understand words like diabólica. Unfortunatelly I've had this problem, and now my list is crowded with nonsense words.

So I switched phones and mistakenly thought the app data was saved. Lost two years worth of data and I just noticed the "back-up to server". I'd be nice if you could sign in with FB or something and have the data automatically saved.

The paid version allows you to add pictures, the free one doesn't. That would be nice and not too much to ask for.

This app is nice, rather simple, but it's what I'm looking for, a simple beer journal app. Please add the double IPA style though.

Auto backup would be nice...bad info from t-mobile wiped my last 100 reviews.

Like the app but disappointed you can't take a picture of your beer on the free version otherwise l would of rated higher

A great way to keep track of the beers you like/dislike. We're going The Rocky Mtn Brewers fest in May and this app will come in so handy!

Overall a really good app. I would like to be able to "friend" or mark others who similar tastes as me or who live in the same area to find other great local beers...

I like when devs let me try b4 by...this seems cool & as a non-beer person, will help me remember what I can choke down...

Good beer diary and social beer review app. I'd like to see an entry for City of beer origin and a separate listing to rate brewers as well as beers. A place to enter professional review scores (ratebeer, beer advocate, etc) would be a major +.

Good app, I recommend its. But the complete version is expensive. There are complex application which is cheaper. I'm waiting the prize decrease.

okay so i thought why not a beer app,.. but when i type in a beer ...it finds nothing i even tried the more known beers and still nothing .. maybe the developer gave up on this app or doesn't want to host it anymore since it has almost no downloads?

Good starter for most beginner beer snobs but lacking styles. Helles and kellerbiers are just the two I've noticed missing in the past four hours.

Love it! I use this app all the time. I do wish I could sort 'my beers' alphabetically without regards to my personal rating.

My suggestion is to have the beer style filled in when barcode scanning, but I'm unsure if barcodes differentiate among different styles/same brewer.

Need to be able to edit the list for beer types. e.g. There are two entries for Lager. Would be good to have drop down choices for Aroma, Mouth feel etc to ensure consistency of analysis. Also editable.

Dunno if I am using it wrong, but many entries look stupid because the beer name and the category are similar or the same. Example: Newcastle brown ale brown ale. Ideas?

Lot of features I like. Only thing I'd change is sort the beer types alphabetically. They seem to have no order. I also have trouble searching for shared beers and adding them to my list when connected over 3g, rather than wifi.

Easy to use and can add as much or as little info as you want!

I like it, definitely a good, easy to use app, but I would really like to be able to also rate the liqueurs that I try with this thing...consider expanding the app to allow for that.

This app is great, and so is the Wine one, but with one minor gripe: when I switched phones I forgot to back up to the server and now I've lost all my old beer data :-( If anyone's figured out where it is stored, let me know!! (PS, I know it's my fault for not backing up)

The interface is very basic and clunky, with poor visual interest, but it gives good space for tasting notes, and dedicated fields for appearance, aroma, taste, and mouth feel. I wish the beer categories had better organization (such as a hierarchy with sub catego), and a field for "City" that can be linked to Google Maps to the brewery location. Facebook integration doesn't seem to be working for me...maybe its only for the paid version?

Would be great if there was a function that allowed for identifying friends so that you could be notified of their new reviews and be able to quickly access their review history.

I have been using this app for about 2 years. It is fantastic. Got a new phone and got all my info back from their server. I highly recommend this app.

With the next update can you add the ability to search by barcode?
