Ruler for Android
It says the side of my screen is 5 inches long, when it's only a 4.3 inch screen!
I have had this app since I got my first android phone over 10 years now. It works now, and has worked since I got it. It has never broke, sent me adds or messed up my handset it has worked on six or seven different types of droid. Get it!

I am sure its useful. But you see I am retard and don't know how to use it. I am not gonna be like other raters and rate low. Not your fault.
@mike.. seriously? u cant change how big the screen is dude. it CANT measure any more than that. rofl. its a good app. handy if u ever need it.
It does what it should. Nothing more nothing less. Though it would have been nice to be able to turn the tilt sensor off.
Seriously, some of the idiots making comments don' know how to use the menu button!
Would be cool if you could input the phone's dimensions and roll the phone along its edges to measure larger distances.
Nice app for when you need a ruler for small things or size reference. The diameter tool is useful.
App works after calibration Dev doesn't ask for unreasonable permissions. Good man!
Calibration on an Evo is about 0.779. Thank you, Mr. Mozaffari!
It's pretty basic, could use some 3d effects to make it more realistic looking
Perfect for what it is. Use .83 to calibrate Droid X.
Compare it to a real ruler. Its measurements are WAY off.
Does just what you think it does.
On samsung intercept, 1" was measured as 15/16"
Ruler, does job
.86 on the vibrant
.87 on the samsung epic
Calibration for Evo 0.789
its ok
It shrank my frankfruter. Thanks, no more folding it to keep from getting tangled in my shoelaces.
Circle measuring would be better if I could slide up and down the screen edge, so I don't knock the object I put on the screen.
On my Droid I have to recalibrate @ 1.467 in inch mode to match machinist scale perfect. Hope this works for others.
It would be nice if an app used the accelerometer to estimate linear displacement. This app just draws a tiny scale down the phone.
Ruller always lays horrizontal. I wish i had the option to choose vertical too. Handy item!
Just ok small print cant change backround and only mm
Better if this can display the imperial one on the right side of the screen.
Works as intended on Nexus One. Great if you want to save a track.
One of the must-have apps
Nice.
This is rubbish absolutely ******** ****
Does the job alright. Accurate after calibration. 0.98 on a Hero (gsm).
Needs a way to put the ruler on the side I choose and keep it there no matter how the phone tilts. Evo
Works well if you can use a ruler to calibrate. Calibrate to .85 on Samsung Epic.
Would be nicer, if I could measure horizontally too
You can switch between mm and inches, and backlight the screen. It's useful for measuring small items on the screen or holding next to an item to measure it in steps. No permissions is great but the lock screen option doesn't work and it force closes when you press the icon in the upper left. Samsung Galaxy Note II.
Calibration for tabb7.7 = 1.08 Force close if icon on top left is pressed..
Compared it to actual tape measures and this thing is wrong. Because of that I purchased the wrong diameter tubing. An actual inch measures about 1.5" with this app. Fix and I will change rating.

Completely useless. There is no need for a three inch ruler. I never use this app. Uninstalled after 2 months.
