mazec3 Handwriting Recognition for Android
Faster than Samsung Note 4 built-in hand writing input.
buggy
Surprisingly accurate!
surprisingly smart
App that I know of out there! I also wish it would recognise emotions but maybe in the future it will?
Can't get this to work with Note Anytime which is why I bought it and since I entered a review it won't let me refund. I don't need this stupid app except to use with Note Anytime
Looks like another promising, but dead project and a waste of money. RIP. Was: Close to unusable due to the unfortunate combination of the way app guesses whole words, the severely limited dictionaries and the handicapped dictionary editing. I expect to be able to edit the suggestions and add words to user dictionary from the main input activity, while I'm writing, not interrupt writing to dig inside menus. Until this is possible, the app is a waste of money.
App outdated and useless as most tablets phones come with built in hand recognition. Adding new features is necessary for market competition.
I need this app for a particular ink to text application within MetaMoJiNote. For that, it's perfect but, I had to give up my original keyboard with built-in Swype and voice to text and I really miss it.
Hard to change input languages if you use more than two input keyboards on s7 egde on 6.0.1 version.
I love the interface. However, this Software is trying too hard to predict what I am trying to say. The database of words is actually too small and relatively common scientific terms often have to be entered one letter at a time :-( even simple words often come out as garbage and have to be rewritten multiple times. Mazec 3 frequently capitalizes words even when letters are virtually the same size.(Can't have it that sensitive. Unfortunately, I have made over 2 dozen corrections just to write this.
It works easy. I'm really satisfied.

I'm actually writing this Using that input Method. I'm thinking about buying Polish. Please add black interface
For handwriting junkies that love their Note 2, 3 & 4 "SPens," this app is darn near perfect. Worth the price as is -but would give it 5 stars if the virtual keyboard half of the app were as good as the handwriting half... Update and enhance the keyboard please! As is the handwriting recognition is excellent but the virtual keyboard is kind of awful! UPDATE THE KEYBOARD FOR 5 STARS!
The mazec3 handwriting APP is truly a state of the art writing software. I have fully explored it, and it is one of the best in the Google Play Store. But one key request I would demand from the developer is to allow any CUSTOM KEYBOARD to be imported to replace the Mazec3 default Keyboard which is somewhat awkward and difficult to use and doesn't have standard or customizable features others have. It will just redefine and add flavor to the way the mazec3 engine works. Then, I will rate 5 star.

I miss permanent restore of In-App Purchases ... currently l need Internet connection after each reboot. Experimental floating input area would be nice :-)
needs haptic feedback on key press

The app definitely has potential but it needs a lot of work before it can charge money. Two major concerns are: 1. Poor integration. On my Note Pro the built in handwriting recognition turns on when I pull out the stylus and switches to my prefered keyboard when I dock it back in. It may sound minor but it is a tremendous convenience and Mazec takes it away. 2. The actual handwriting recognition is not measurably better than what I get built-in which in combination with #1 eliminates the value of this app for me. As mentioned earlier, I would love to see and pay for a superior alternative to built-in handwriting recognition, and I look forward to future developments of mazec.

at the moment quite impressed. Just problem with additional language. it needed internet connection to work
Awesome recognition and very handy when combined with Note Anytime.
Purchased app for $8 And then after 40 minutes, found that it was preventing me from selecting contacts. when I selected contact, it threw me into SEARCH so I was unable to select anything. this is not compatible with Samsung Note 3 using Android 4.3 . Would like refund but not possible after 30 minutes.
Great app, using it on a Nexus 9 and I must say it's the first handwriting recognition app good enough to actually use to replace typing for note taking! Couple of IMPORTANT suggestions. NUMBER ONE IMPROVEMENT: make the buttons respond to being drawn on instead of just pressed or add gestures for key operations. I use a $30 Wacom stylus and I still find it slow to wait for the button press (erase, back buttons etc) The biggest single issue I have. If I could swipe across the buttons instead of waiting for a press event it would really speed up typing OR add gesture recognition right on the keyboard area. Some symbol for new line, insert space, erase, move left, move right NUMBER TWO IMPROVEMENT: Add a button to turn on/off word recognition. Biggest problem with the keyboard is when it tries to make words out of numbers, or when you need to enter a name, e.g. UCLA2000, it tries to best guess known words. Add single click option to toggle between keyboard and handwriting mode. Make the buttons above the keyboard wider (they are too small.. slows you down). Add "Delete" option for highlighted text.currently "Copy, Paste" are the only options.
The handwriting recognition is great. You cannot add your own word. If you are using a second dictionary, you need to be connected to the internet to be able to use it.

For handwriting junkies that love their Note 2, 3 & 4 "SPens," this app is darn near perfect. Worth the price as is -but would give it 5 stars if the virtual keyboard half of the app were as good as the handwriting half. It's different but in many ways as good as the Stylus Beta app. Looking forward to improvements.
The recognition precision is amazing. I would give 5 stars if it had an option for instant recognition, char by char (in opposition to word by word), so I could write even words that are not in dictionary. And I would also like very much if it had a user dictionary, so I could add new words (this could be in the box of word recognition possibilities).
Awesome recognition and very handy when combined with Note Anytime.
hello, for some reason I cannot convert handwritten notes to text. I did everything as the instruction suggests, but still, even in a paid version, it doesn't convert. It's a real pity since I installed the app (along with metamoji note) specifically for this option. Please, do help me to understand what's going on and how to finally convert notes. ps/ it just doesn't select the note as text, no matter how long I press on it.
it works on english as well on spanish
OK. Stylus Beta is Perfect!
I am happy with its performance. Long words sometime create problem. Gap between Letters also create problem. overall its a good app.
Awesome recognition and very handy when combined with Note Anytime.
This app works amazingly well. As a Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition user, however, my main gripe is that there is no palm rejection at all. This can be very bothersome. However, the handwriting recognition is near perfect. The app is very quick. I have used this app to write in both English and German and it worked very well for both these languages. I have noticed that the app does not seem to recognize time if you use a colon to separate hours and minutes, e.g. 12:30.
I originally gave the program a 2 star review because of serious recognition problems. Since my last use it has improved recognition quite well with my left hand writing. For the most part this program runs nearly as well as the factory overlay on the note 3. Great job guys. I would like to see a customizable keyboard [size] and swipe function because if these things were to happen I may just use this as my main and only input method.

Crashes nicely after the update, making it even less useful. None if the issues below seem to have been addressed.
