I want to like it, I really do. The folks working on it clearly understand the culture and fandoms they are attempting to match. There is just so much missing. Not the least of which is a userbase. There are only 5 complete profiles of women in within 60 miles of me (and they already declined me in a different app.) Besides that, the circle photos that won't let you crop or adjust, no mutual connections or interests, and not being able to save search results make this far less usable than its competitors.

... For someone who lives in the USA. It's a good dating app, the concept is a good opportunity, but it needs more media, to be known outside the states. Please, spread the word; I only meet this app because I wrote Tinder for geeks (in Spanish). It's no wonder that for some people they can't find any one in the search.

.....but it doesn't seem like anyone else is using it. LOTS of fake profiles, no matches, and search results for people 2000 plus miles away. A game changer would be adding a latest activity feature. Most profiles, that aren't fake, are clearly inactive. Being able to determine who is active would be great. Also, cropping photos would be nice.

Updated again: Search feature works now. Will give 5 stars when it actually saves my search settings. Updated: Revising to two stars because i can finally install, however the search feature is completely broken and does not sort by distance. Originally posted a one star rating because it kept giving me "Error Code: -2."

This app is still a mess. Crashes while looking through my Likes page. Crashes while saving my profile edits. I appreciate improving your product, but at the end of the day, you missed the mark. Take what you got, have it go through a proper 2-3 month QC period with quality QA people, and then rerelease this app under a new name. Dragonfruit is dead.

After creating an account, it became clear that this app needs more updates. Everything just feels unpolished and unfinished. Not even sure if it's really using my location, can't tell when someone was last on, and the app crashes just about every time I send a message. Edit: still crappie after latest update. I set a distance range but the results are still all over the place. You can tell this app was entirely thought up by a committee of suits just trying to get money from a specific demographic.

The app is underdeveloped, and feels like a Web app or something designed for an older iteration of the Android OS. Worse, there are not many users; for a service aiming to find you new friends or people to date, that is a huge barrier to continued usage of the app. I'll be checking back in several months to see how development is coming along.

I love the idea. However, I have more than three "geekdoms". Why only allow people to choose three for their profiles? There are only two women in my area / age range and neither have done anything with their profiles. #1 problem with this app, low user base.

This thing is amazing. Such a cool concept... For a nerd like me, this is the only way I've found to connect with other like-minded people over my favorite areas of geekdom.

Servers are garbage. Have strong wi-fi signal and 3g data. Problem isn't my end.

You *must* register on the website for the application to work. Signing up through the phone app WILL NOT WORK. The amount of people is very limited in my area, but the application works as advertised.

It stopped working for me. I can' t sand messages.

Just started and takes forever to load the profiles and I can't even send a bloody message because the server is having issues, what kind of crap is this? Worst app thus far.

I agree with a lot if the other reviews. I like the premise and I appreciate what this app is trying to achieve. But before we get too judgy, let us all remember that eharmony, match and even gk2gk want money for what Dragonfruit offers for free.

When I try and sign up it tells me i need to allow my location to be granted access. The problem is there is no option for that so it just wont let me create a profile.

The app works much better than it did at first but there's hardly anyone using it. In my area there were I only 3 other people. Needs a much much larger user base.

To be honest I want to like this app but it feels like every other app filled with fake accounts the difference between other dating apps in this one is it the fact that it's so small it feels like you are the only real person in a sea of fake and/or inactive accounts which makes the only reason to use the app sort of pointless would be nice if we knew the last time someone logged in or even if the account is inactive for a preset time that it would be Dlisted from the main directory via a setting

Everyday..."No more matches"... so i am a unique person, I know that, we all are...what are you doing, looking for my clone to play "Snap" with me..? Or am I really that incompatible with other humans that nobody matches... think im done haha! Live like a Lone Wolf methinks!

Good idea. No one uses it though so expect it to work about as well as any other dating app that isnt one of the big ones.

Can't add more than 3 fandoms? Can't specify locations to look in and around? Way too Tinder-y... <3 or dismiss? That's it? Blah. Boring.

This app has got so much potential, more than any I've seen thus far, download it, you won't regret supporting these guys, tell your friends too

It has a good interface but when u like someone or send them a message and no one texts u back and u have messages over 300 profiles its bad.

Just downloaded it but it will not allow me to make an account keeps say I have no internet connection those I definitely do.

Does it only give u just that many ppl? -.-" or does it refresh? How about filters. Wtf??

The app won't connect to a server.

I know the app is new and still working out its bugs, but it's so much better than OK Cupid!

It's a good concept but the servers have been down for over a week making this app worthless.

Won't log in .... constantly says there's no Internet even though I'm linked up to WiFi and 4g. Closes itself.

These geek dating sites need to pick it up nobody's answering or trying to reply back.

Great user interface, and it knows it's audience. There's just no one that uses it... here's hoping the user base grows

I love that I can search for people with the same interests! They seem to be making updates all the time.

Logged after updating it just now, lost all my messages, matches, and likes.
