About KC ArtSnap
Take pictures of your friends and family with artistic Kansas Citians all over town and share your photos on social media. After visiting 8 or more locations, click the “Notify Us” option and get a gift.
How it works:
ArtSnap uses “augmented reality” technology to place an image of a KC artist in your picture based on your location. The app has a “Near Me” map to show you all the places around town where you can find the artists. Some will appear based on your GPS coordinates while others have a poster on display. Follow the simple instructions in the app and snap photos of your friends with Bobby Watson at UMKC or Christopher Elbow outside his shop to name just a few.
Shakespeare said, “All the world’s a stage” so get out in the world, make it your stage and you will be joined by some of Kansas City’s artistic elite!
Why we did it:
ArtsKC supports the arts for the benefit of the entire Kansas City region. By using ArtSnap, you are helping to raise awareness of the vibrant cultural resources in our city. Thank you!

This app is so much fun to use when I'm exploring the kansas city art district. The app isn't glitchy at all and overall has a very nice user experience.
