The tradition of using the calendar advent introduced in the early 19th century by the Lutheran church in Germany continues to this day. At first, the presence of an advent calendar consisting of 24 small windows inside contains chocolate, just to add to the spirit of son and girl in welcoming Christmas, where each day small windows can only be opened one.
