Meraki Systems Manager

Total battery hog. This app uses more battery than all the rest added together. If I keep on top of it and keep putting it to sleep, I can add more than 3 hours run time on a single charge - that's ridiculous! I also run apps like Locale which constantly monitors position, time, etc. and it sips the juice compared to Meraki. Dev needs to fix this.

Older phone so installs version 3. 1. 1 go to open it and it crashes. Cannot find a work around

Total battery hog, I have it on my Google pixel I unplugged it at 10:40 this morning it's now 11:34 in the morning and I've gone from 100% to 72% battery in less than 1 hour please fix asap

Updates have made this app much better but it can still be a battery hog sometimes.

App crashes every time you try to configure with qr code. Can't get to work help!!

Great tool, we use it for all of our wireless devices.

Keeps repeatedly prompting to update lockscreen password multiple times a day. Extremely frustrating and wish I could uninstall this app, but must be used for work. Please make an update to fix this issue.

Review for latest version released Feb 13, 2017 - Every time you reboot, it forces you to change your lockscreen PIN. Only way to fix is to turn off device admin, unenroll, uninstall, reinstall and re-enroll. Please fix ASAP. This app update is causing many wiped phones!

Significant improvement actually makes this product functional. Still has problems delivering apps automatically to device.

Meraki has ruined the battery life on my Nexus 5x. Now I have to keep a phone charger at work to make it through the day, even with hardly no use of my phone.

Latest update has killed battery life on my LG V10. Meraki's battery consumption is higher than my Screen. Needs fixed ASAP

new version keeps on crashing

The old versiom worked amazing. I upgrwded to the new one and it crashes. PLEASE FIX.

Stopped working on our note 2 phones. Crashes immediately on launch.

The previous version works fine and then it auto-updated and crashes. I had to find an old versio and reinstall it.

I am required to have this at work otherwise I would never install this piece of crap on my phone. Android phones do not usually have great battery lives and this app is killing whatever is left of it.

The new requirement to install as a work profile AND mandatory encryption makes this no longer fit for purpose. Enrolment needs to be fast and configurable so we can choose whether or not to deploy a "for work" profile with encryption or not. The lack of notification of this change is also noted. Quite a poor show from a vendor like Cisco.

Ive removed the device from the management console by deletinh it. Unenrolled the device yet cant delete it. Tried deactivating via playstore and tried to uninstall but option is greyed out. What am i doing wrong?

Required to use this for work. It is a battery hog; drains my battery in less than half a day. Very frustrating!

Was very happy with this until the latest update insisted on devices being encrypted and using the Android Work profile. Not an option for us in an education setting due to the added complexity, and not useful in a personal setting. Unfortunately the push towards paid SM licensing has claimed its first victim and this app is no longer a viable option for us. Having spoken to a Meraki developer at a conference I know they were keen to retain the free tier of Systems Manager in order to retain the years of goodwill they've built up with admins, but they have shot themselves in the foot with this change. Battery life has also shot up in the new version due to egregious use of keepawakes. Will be uninstalling from all our organisational devices, as well as my personal devices.

Latest update has crashed the app. Fix needed urgently.

New version does not work!

This update is crap and forces people to use a work profile, which doesn't even enroll and sits there on the enrollment screen.

Purchased a new LG G4 (not the most current but still supports Marshmallow) and Meraki SM keeps wanting to encrypt my system. When it restarts, nothing happens. Older versions simply worked. Argh. I just lost my MDM. It's a good thing I didn't pay for it.

No longer works with my mobile devices...old version was a gem!

Version before this latest worked on all our phones. Now anything less that doesn't support Android For Work profiles fails. Says "Please use the badged version..." of which there isn't, then the unbadged disables itself. We're not going to replace 160 devices at over $600 each just to get this working again.

It just says use the badged version and then disables itself.

Previously used with no issues. Most recent version forces setup of work profile.
