If I had to uninstall all but one app from my tablet, this would be what I'd keep.

Mendeley is great! Was the first app I installed on my new tablet. However I am having problems syncing. It seems to import files but not export. That would be very useful as I make notes on tablet in PDF editor and then want to read wherever. Another thing I am missing is plugin into andriod version of MS Word. Last, in all versions od Mendeley more options of marking files would be useful. Eg. more colorful tags. Favorite and read are not enough. Maybe I just haven't found. Thanks for amazing tool!

I had used citavi, endnote... This is the best reference management software I ever used, definitely.(There are also some bugs need to be fixed, one of them is : when I add new pdf file,it always alert me failed, but actually it was added already.)

Good app, but a plugin for MS Word on android would be very useful as well as the ability to use your SD card for storage of pdf's. I have several articles on my SD card that it copied to my device storage when I added it to mendeley, which is quite annoying.

Mendeley is fantastic, but the next step for this app should be support for epub files. The whole idea of Mendeley is to avoid paper & read on a screen, yet it relies on a format optimized for printing to vertical paper. Legacy PDF support will always be required, but as publishers are catching on to epub, Mendeley needs to plan for the future. Otherwise it risks becoming obsolete. Ideally, when epub support is implemented, annotations will be automatically transferred to epub versions of the same article.

Gives cryptic error message and fails to sync after adding a new document. I.E. not even the most fundamental you're features work... Don't waste your time!

After the attachment dialogue, nothing happens. P.s. the reason why I have to give a 2 star here is because there is apparently no internal bug report system in Mendeley. >>> change rating to 5 star for prompt bug fix!

The app doesn't work on my tablet. It's impossible to synchronise files. Can you fix that? I love Mendeley on the desktop but I need to use my tablet very often when I am travelling.

The application seemed to be working perfect for me till i faced the problem of Sync error (UNIQUE constraint failed:files_table_file_remote_id(Code2067). contacted support since 2 weeks now with no feedback. I do not know exactly what to do with these problems, i hope Tech. support may provide an explanation.

GUI is good. Its nice and intuitive. However! It would be superb if you add a feature for both android and PC versions to enable the users to annotate PDF and other documents and preserve the metadata of the annotation within the the document for extraction on the future when the annotation will be included in the main text. There are several softwares out there able to do so. For now i can only know i did annotated but i dont know where it is in the text. I need to open and click and wait to do all. And then if i am about to cite it, i should check the pdf page number and add it after the citation is inserted and so on.
