Intelliremote is a Home Theater PC remote used to control a Windows PC running Intelliremote Server (24$ trial-ware). Control your HTPC without the need for line-of-sight that traditional infrared remotes need. Included virtual keyboard/mouse allow you to have less gadgets in the living room. Intelliphone mobile client is a native Android application that allows you to control your home theatre PC running Windows. Since the Android uses a network connection it does not need "line-of-sight" like traditional infrared remotes and you can use it anywhere in or out of your house! Intelliphone also acts as a wireless keyboard and mouse so you can get rid of those in your living room HTPC setup and just use your Android since you always have that on you!

I use this app to control VLC on my PC from my S3. Works outstandingly. Be aware that you must download server software on your PC and this is only a free trial, you have to buy it tk continue using after some time. But it's well worth the cost. 5 stars.

About 1 out of 10 launches actually works. Moat of the time all I get is a black screen for 30 seconds and then back to my home screen.

Like other reviewers I get a black screen most of the time and the app crashing out. This hasn't been updated in almost two years. I loved this app on iphone and I've purchased the server app. What gives melloware? How about a droid update. ...

Go straight to "navigate" and go crazy. Complete customization in the palm of your hand of your hand! Every button does what you want it to do! Coming from a remote that allowed me 6 intelliremote commands to be learned, this is app is amazing as far as I'm concerned!
