MELD :Date Black professionals

1. Can't delete old melds out my inbox, therefore I get a constant notification when there isn't one. 2. I understand charging to to see those who like your profile but if I back out and decide not to meld at that moment it counts as a pass? REALLY!!!! DUMB AF.

Matches are dismal and it seems like they are not even on the app anymore. I'm uninstalling now. There are fake reviews giving this app high ratings

The concept is excellent however the execution awful. I haven't been able to sign in for days now. I think I will delete the app. Once Meld fixes its glitches I'll be back but I really hate it continues to have the same problems over and over again because it's the best black professional dating app I've ever come across!

App is not opening and has been doing this for several weeks. Please fix this. I recommended the app to friends and they were turned off by the glitches with logging onto the app.

Liked using the app at first but now I can even get it to open up on my phone anymore. Stalls at splash page.

I really like this app and think the wide selection is great. Like many others I have a hard time using it most of the time. This app to link young black professionals is the best concept but what's the point if it hardly ever functions right. I can get over a man turning out to be a drug dealer and not a legit salesman but I may have to cancel my membership if I can't use this. I love it tho! My like box is flooded. Too bad I can't get to these dudes..

I can't sign into this app unless I uninstalled it on my phone and reinstall, or if I respond to a message which is past ridiculous!! I've emailed customer service twice over a month ago and never received a response. Under the FAQ section on the site, there's a section that pertained to the reason I was unable to login. I followed the directions and the problem was still not fixed. I just decided to discontinue my service because what's the point of paying for it and not even able to use it?

Wouldn't have deleted if the app could be used without Facebook (deactivated my acct for personal reasons and don't see the benefits of re-activating it just to use this app; continued use requires FB even though I'm logged in with LinkedIn). Also, I understand limiting the number of swipes, but the wait is ridiculous, especially for five or ten profiles. Lastly, profiles and search criteria could be a bit more (and just a tad) expansive.

Waste of money because the app simply does not work. Since upgrading I've only been able to login about twice! I've emailed them and have not received a response. So frustrating! I want a refund!

The app requires you spend money before you can even see what the site is all about. However, after you pay, there won't be any matches in your area. I live in a major city and matches were scarce. Don't be fooled into a membership! Also, its very glitchy...many times,you can't even log in and it loads slowly. Lastly, a great deal of the apps reviews are FAKE. There are a good amount of white people giving a black dating app that is quite bad 5 stars and talking about how good it is. Shame on Meld. How low!

The selection of men here are great in my area but this app needs improvement. You will NEVER be matched with anyone. If someone likes your profile, you have to pay to meld with them. They won't be sent to you later on to swipe right on. I'm sure the same happens for those you swipe right on, they have to pay to meld with you. I'd take an app with ad promos over this if I could actually match and communicate with my prospects. Thumbs down!

Had seen the app while in its beta phase on LinkedIn a year or 2 ago. Decided to give it a try here in 2017. It "appears" there are quality men but I've already run into 1 and perhaps 2 fake profiles....and the men will or may initiate conversation but then disappear. I've joined for the month of January and find it highly UNLIKELY that I will continue into February. Nice concept tho....oh and no glitches to speak of or issues using it.

I support this concept and setup 100%, but the app almost never works. Whenever I can get it to open back up, I'm canceling it because it won't open hardly ever.

It is pointless to pay for an app where Matches never respond. Free apps are better.

I don't know if this is a problem for everyone but at least for me I can never connect to the service. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, updated nothing works.

I want to like this app but I basically have to uninstall and reinstall DAILY. I'm cancelling my subscription and permanently deleting app when this 1st month is up.

Why do our people have the hardest time doing things with efficiency...can't login horrible user experience and not easy to use.

Good concept, but I can't open the app 70% of the time. Too many bugs to be useful.

How do you all expect to compete with zoosk or tinder if you can only view 5 profiles every 12 hours?

Seems to have potential but I'm getting to the point where I have to uninstall then reinstall daily just to sign in. Seems to be a glitch.

Trouble logging back into the app at times, but I like the option of meeting with other professionals.

The app won't even let me sign in unless I uninstall then reinstall, But then it only works for 2 logins before doing it again.

Great app.

Every other great app allows you time to get to know what it has to offer before you purchase however this app does not seem to let you do anything at all and the selection is very minimal. Because I'm skeptical of the quality of this product I'm not interested.

Absolutely no men in LA on the site and I bought a membership to talk to a member who "liked" me who works for the company. Faked interest so I would buy a membership and promptly dissappeared. I've already cancelled.

Needs better location matching

If you're not planning to use the premium feature, it's a waste of time. You can flip through 5 profiles, then you're locked out for 12hrs. This app is image focused, so no one has their "about me" filled out. Just pictures and job titles, very annoying.

The app seems to have great potential, the selection of professional men seems promising but you can't do anything without a premium account. The developer should add more free features for basic users who aren't yet ready to commit financially.

Terrible. Hard to browse. Before paying you only get 5 people. Even after paying there was only 1-2 more people. And I think some were fake. A waste of my time and money.

Wish I could Meld more without purchasing the Premium package. I do like that you can now send messages once Melded.

Upgraded only to not be able to use the features :-( this is a problem.

The app is easy to use. Upgraded to the premium account earlier today and it is working as it should...no glitches. There seems to be a pool of quality men so far.

I wish I had more viewing access as a free member but I'm happy with the app so far

The best dating app ever in my opinion

The developers need to look into the setup of other dating apps that truly are free. Too many basic things (liking member profiles, really?) require users to go to premium, which is off-putting.
