MindMeister (mind mapping)

"Error: Please make sure you have a network connection" is all I get when trying to log in with my Google account. Works great on the PC, but not being able to log I to this app kind of disqualifies it. Edit: this is on the latest updated version.

I installed it on my Note 5 and all I get is "ERROR! please make sure you have a network connection"!!! This app works perfect on my Surface PRO but I don't know why it keeps giving that error on my Note 5.

It won't run on my Moto Z Play - it reports no network connection. EDIT: It seems to be working perfectly now. I'm looking forward to learning to use it. Thanks Developer!

Even though the creator said that the connection error is solved, I installed this app for the first time and it is still there.

It doesn't work on my Nexus 6 I can't sign in

Still won't connect even after the update to fix said connection issue. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it will log in but it won't load maps.

Doesn't even get past sign in page on my Google pixel xl.

Wont let me login, keeps telling me to make sure i have a network connection, but i do. To prove it just wrote this review w my network connection.

Kept saying network error.Would not let me get past the log in page.

The keyboard function much better on the website than in their actual app. Just learn from Simple Mind and you will be good.

The app just doesnot start, it crashes as soon as you try to load a map ! Just cannot believe such a great product can have such petty issues

Demo mode only demonstrates that the app doesn't work and the app hangs when you try to sign up for a new account.

It's too cut unlike your web app.

Performance is an issue on modern andriod devices. It looks like this app is built in nativescript and maybe uses unsupported or reasource intensive css properties perhaps? You guys should troubleshoot the app on modern android phones and lose that AVD or tablet (whatever we see in the screenshots). Love the web app on my desktop, let me know if I can help with the app!

Just one problem though: normally when I opened the app the menu appeared then it automatically went straight into my maps, but now it isn't signed in anymore and when i press Sign In it tells me to check the internet connection and i was already connected. PLEASE help me, I cannot lose all my work it is very important, I can't recreate it perfectly.

It's quick, and I can access my maps on my PC, but on the mobile version the buttons are too small. The button to open a note feels like 0.5x0.5mm. I wish I could move bubbles not connected to the primary one without connecting them to it. Might consider subscribing then.

Mindmeister for Android is buggy and unreliable. On my pc via the webapp is great but often I'm mobile & I need to use the Android version. The Android version has a couple of maddening and unreliable problems. 1. Regularly, when working on a mindmap on my phone, the app will report "The version on the server is newer than the version on your device. A merge is not possible. Do you want to load the server version, or save the local version?" It will give this report even when I know this isn't true - the local version is the newest/latest update. Clicking "load server version" sends the app in a loop. It will just keep on reporting the the version on the server is newer, blah blah blah.. I've reported this to support, and received a weak answer. "Please make sure you're running the latest version" and "we've been unable to duplicate this",.. followed by " Were you happy with the support you've received". A No answer produced a deafening silence... Really guys? That's it? Why bother asking? I have the app installed on 3 Android devices - Nexus 6, Note 4, Xperia Z Ultra, and the problem is replicated on all 3, so it's not a device specific problem.

Dependable, workable great customer service and I've seriously been using these guys for years and I'm finally paying for the paid subscription its great. I'm collaborating with others on the same mind map at the same time it's awesome.

Good apps

Very slow, to the point of being unusable. It took me 2 full minutes to create and open an empty map (a simple operation that should be nearly instant). Then I was unable to rename or edit the map. When creating folders the button labeled "Done" cancels the action. Overall design is flawed: using iOS like UI and UX. Just use the Native Framework! If you don't want to use the native android framework, you should be developing a web app (progressive web app perhaps?)

When you set up Android account with your Google account, it should quick log in after that. Apparently this doesn't work for MM. Having to type my long email address and password EVERY time is maddening!

Generally superb. Moved from xmind as they dont support android. mind meister is great though and new developments meister task are exciting. In mind meister just inputting info is a ltl clunky though workable.

Getting this error all the time which makes working with my maps extremely slow and difficult

The sync is dangerously broken. If you create a map, or try to edit a map. When it tries to sync, you will delete whole sections of your map, and destroy your work.

For each change I made it opens a pop-up saying there is an updated version of the map online, that it's not possible to merge it and that I'll have to load the online version. Very buggy

It couldn't be considered an app for Android devices

Bringing tasks & democratic voting into such a powerful visual tool is amazingly well done with MindMeister, with powerful revision history and ability to make maps publicly viewable (or even editable without logging in!)
