Dock No-Op

Phone was getting stuck in dock mode which causes screen to sit in landscape mode for everything and sometimes cancels all sound.. This is caused by usb charge port having bent or corroded pins. This app fixes it completely.. Like it never happened.

I want to access Android Auto, but also prefer to navigate with Waze. With this app installed, I can connect my Chevrolet Volt with Android Auto - I can even view Google Maps, on Android Auto - and yet can display Waze on the phone's screen. For that matter, I can easily get to any app on the phone, while connected to Android Auto. That's not easy to do, without this app being installed. But Car Mode still starts, as soon as I connect USB to the car.

Works perfectly. First time that you dock after installation, it provides a "Complete action using... 'Android Dock' / 'Car Home' / '[some third-party app with a dock]' / 'Dock No-Op'" -style prompt. Select Dock No-op, make sure to tick 'Use by default', and enjoy.

Thank you so much for creating this app! The desk dock app was driving me nuts as it interferes with normal navigation patterns, especially in the way that it takes over the home button's functionality. Your app solves the issue in an elegant and easy-to-use way.

This works great and disables the clock from starting on DOCK w/ the galaxy tab 10.1! There seems to be a bug with the clock because it will only let you go back to your previous app and not the home screen - so this fixes that issues by disabling the clock launching on plugging into the dock! Thank you! Phone was malfunctioning and bringing up dock mode every time i pressed the home button. This is the only thing that made it stop.

I'd rate this well if it actually worked. Car mode randomly starts up when charging phone and doesn't allow it to go to sleep. Is a problem in the middle of the night. I'll be emailing about this.

My docking kept going on randomly screwing everything up. I installed this app. Had to restart twice, not sure why, but then bam, no docking. Download this it's great.

I have a Droid Maxx 2. Sad it didn't work. Will keep trying to find one that does.

This app doesn't do anything at all... except for being a placeholder app to trigger on docking. And that's exactly what I needed!

I like to know which screen I am on, so I use this app at the lower left corner, updating the name and icon with nova launcher. Works great, as if you accidentally press it, it does Nothing!

Causes a bit of a delay when taking phone from magnetic holster, but a lot less than the actual Car Dock. Moto Milestone

The car panel would cause the media volume to not work on my Evo 4g when my headphones were in. please update this to fix that common problem...

Work great I just couldn't deal with it anymore every time I connected to car charger up it goes and after clearing data and stopping it still continued until today thanks devs for this small and very easy to use file. I asked TMO months ago but gave it a try, no regrets.

Doesn't do a thing on HTC Sensation. Will not atop HTC Navigation which HTC have installed instead of the standard Car Home android app. Last resort is to root my phone and freeze the app. Never mind.

The multimedia dock is worse than useless, it just gets in the freakin' way. This works great and eliminates a long-standing nuisance, having to exit the dock I didn't want open in the first place. Thank you, thank you!

Like it. Works good. Keeps Droid from going to dock mode when placed in the cradle.

Worked at first, now my g2 won't stop going into car mode. Arg. I'm ready to launch this phone.

This app does exactly what it claims to do and was exactly what I needed to change the annoying behavior that had somehow been configured on my Motorola Xoom when I placed in the charging dock. Thank you!

After battling the StartingDockService wakelock that's been killing my phone battery in about 8 hours time, I decided to give this app a shot. It's the perfect (unintended) fix to my battery woes. Thanks for giving me my phone back!

This worked great and did exactly what it was supposed to until today. Now my G2 is acting like a child on speed and its annoying me. Please fix it. It worked for nearly 3 months and now not so much.

my g2x has only been able to connect to my car after a restart or killing all the running apps and waiting 20 minutes. now after installing this utility I see the Bluetooth disconnected status message and the phone reconnects to my car with no issues! get it together Google and iron it out. when it comes to phones the real phone functions should be high quality always work! dock no-op rocks!
