TimeTracker - Time Recording for Android
Functional and stable
So, all consultants already have their clients in their contact list on their phone, ie Outlook or Google Contacts. If not they should be, and to maintain consistency of data Time & Billing apps should allow picking directly from the phones contact list to import its data directly.. This app doesn't look at the data already there on the phone, to add a client to the time and billing database, when the data should already be on the consultants' phone. Replication of existing data introduces unnecessary errors and wastes valuable time that could be devoted to taking care of the client and getting paid for the service(s). At least this app is capable of being Client centric and not forcing a project centric model.. Last I time I got paid for my billings; the project didn't sign and mail the check; the client did..
Very useful app with a nice clean interface. But tasks and categories are not necessary for all projects. So making them required is kind of inconvenient.
I like most of the app, but the problem is in the directory. Catagories and projects are bove tasks but they don't relate to eachother. It seems the tasks need a catagory, and the projects need a client but nothing fit's in a row. Makes it very confusing organizing things.
It's very helpful tool in daily use.
