The BEST RSS/Podcast App available! 'Nuff said. So get it and you'll never look back. That's the word. Simple!

I am so grateful to the people who made this app. I used this to check on RSS feeds, and it found me a lot of work. So much work, I got my friends into it too! Of course, I bought the paid version, but the free one is great too. Very useful!

Had to replace Taptu since it folded. Tried many options and this one was best for me. Bought pro version to remove ads, before I stumbled on settings for dark theme, hide read articles and more. Very cool options with this app, very close to Taptu when you find the image settings, with more options.

I upgraded my Galaxy S6 to Marshmallow. Now, I don't have any menu :(. Nexus 5 does not have this issue.

Too bad that they don't reply to support emails about it. I get the same articles over and over again ; this means hundreds of articles and photos that use up my data connection

Does everything I want it to do, and does it with style! Also the best RTL support out of all other RSS readers I've tried.

The export only exports setting, not OPML as advertised. Recent update has broken the add feeds functionality (using SEARCH). I like this app, but not without these two critical pieces of functionality.

This app doesn't sync your folders and tags from google reader and you have to manually select every feed you want to import. I have 135 feeds. When I realised there was no way to import them together, I uninstalled this app.

Tried several RSS Readers for Android, and this was undoubtedly the best for ease of use and layout, and allows use without a Google Reader account. While it is very good, there is room for improvement and I look forward to future updates. One feature I'd really like is the option to tap & hold on an individual feed or group and choose to refresh only that feed or group. Export to OPML would be nice too. Feed updating is incredibly fast! This is the best feed reader I've found. Highly recommended!

RSSdemon elite is a good reader, but something about RSSdemon V2 makes me prefer it over elite. But I still give this 4stars because its still a great reader!

F70%
by F####:

RSSD Elite is a decent reader, but be warned: there is no documentation available if you have any questions, the website has been replaced by a WordPress blog with release notes and YouTube videos, and there is no OPML export as claimed. I bought this app some time ago, and it's decent, but the issue with exporting a feed to use on my desktop has just come up and I'm pretty unhappy to discover that the claimed OPML export doesn't exist. The backup (from which it's claimed you can pull the OPML) is an XML file that contains your UI settings, and a SQLite database that holds your feeds, the articles, tags, and so forth. Good luck building an OPML from that. $5 is hardly the end of the world but the false advertising thing really makes me mad.

S70%
by S####:

Very full-featured. Just needs "Mark as read up to last read article", that would be holy grail. And could be nicer looking, especially on tablet-size screen.

N70%
by N####:

Works great. Simple with a nice interface. Love the backup feature and the ability to set the background to black.

H70%
by H####:

This probably the best RSS reader out there. There design style may stay away from the fancy stuff other RSS readers out there use, but this has more practicality than style. I set my favorite podcasts to download over WiFi then listen to them when I'm on the bus to or work. The customizable feature is what really won me over though. I can practically change every setting to my liking. Keep up the good work Meecel.

My replacement for Google Reader... so far, Excellent!

E70%
by E####:

I really like the free version of rssdemon and decided to upgrade to pro. Was astonished to find that I apparently have to manually re-enter my entire feeds list, one item at a time, that I have on my free version. I'm not going to spend a half-hour or more on that ... I already did that once when I stopped using greader pro due to its bugginess and slowness and switched to rssdemon. Maybe someday when I have an hour or so of free time to kill.

N70%
by N####:

Weird issues: When reading an article if screen rotation occurs it causes RssDemon to go back to the first article opened in that session under that feed. This also happens when the screen times out and you reopen it. It's not as bad as the relogin issue some apps face that aren't coded to handle this but it's very similar.

RSS client I've tried & I've tried a lot but keep coming back to this one

N70%
by N####:

No animated GIF or video support -- not even a preview and option to open in another app.... Other than that, pretty good reader.

I70%
by I####:

Judging from the dev's long-ignored support blog, he's happy to take your money for an app he no longer supports. I thought it was awesome until I tried to restore from a properly made and saved backup after a factory restore. I've tried at least 20 times and all my carefully gathered feeds are gone. If I get a response I will change my rating, until then, don't buy this unless you enjoy being ripped off.

A unique animal among RSS readers. Flexible options yet not too complicated. I like the quick summary list of feed activity, especially when choosing full feeds. Consistent location of mobilize button. Very nice feed search.
