myMedtronic Connect for Android
'In the works', Have been told tht for a whole year. Now in development? Why apple first? And now why not android? Please get out a working app for connect. I'd even be a guinea pig.....
No one cares what you think about minimed I have had a pump for over 20 years from minimed they are the only company that has the closed loop pump that have great customer support if you can't afford the 100 app don't buy it they are far superior to the other pump company's I no have had one from them all
Could you kindly add the 630 G pump to your information. Apparently when it was released, the app was not updated. Apo could be better.
I thought this was the connect to my pump /sensor data app. Guess not!
The title sounds like that this application connects to the pump or sensor for uploading the data to CareLink. In fact, that is just for the online shopping. It's very disappointing. Why can't they take care of Android device users? No developers?
Helps a lot
It works okay but I kinda expected this app to actually interact with the pump or just give a readout of the sensor bg at least. Tutorials are okay but this app is not really useful unless you want to use it for ordering supplies I guess.
Needs to be able to link with the pump and have functionality. If Medtronic does not get with it on this, other developers will get on this and you will miss the boat.
The only reason I installed it was when CareLink indicated this how to upload from the pump and sensor. It does not even connect to the pump. Lots of features in it if you're not already overwhelmed.
Love the help videos it helped me a lot in training my aids
No connection to the pump or website? What is the purpose of this app? Medtronic get with the times or I might switch to a pump which provides a mobile app to website to pump interface. Its clear you did not spend the money properly or ask a diabetic what's useful.
I like that I can track my insertion sites, which makes that a lot easier to remember, but as a cgm user also I wish I could track those sites as well.
Useless. Medtronic is raping customers by wanting to charge you 100 bux for an app that only works with IPhone. Where ls the app for android? IT SHOULD BE FREE. Their computer software Carelink leaves much to be desired. I'm looking at other pumps and companies.
This is an electronic notepad. Let's move forward into the real world.
It's ok , needs decimal point. A Max basal rate of 200 isn't right, also needs to synchronize with the pump
Needs to interact with the pump and meter
This is a completely useless app. It won't sync with your pump and CGM. Get with it, MedTronic. Spend a few extra bucks to develop an app that has an actual functional purpose for diabetics, and not just more brand name reinforcement. In a nutshell, this app's only role is to allow you to practice data entry on your smartphone. AWFUL.
App is useful for tutorial BUT you should be able to transfer your pump info to the app.

I guess people with diabetes that have android don't need to connect their phone to their pump...... I guess only apple users do. Way to miss the majority of the smartphone market Medtronic....
More fun
I fail to see why this app even exists. No sensor data, no pump integration, can't view reports... the my orders section is purely a wrapper around the website. Don't waste your time.
Would be better if it worked on android phone
I'm new to the pump and cgm sensor. The tutorials add security and support for new users. The 3 day reminder and sensor alerts are just that helpful. I know it's a simple app but when your on information overload sometimes...simple is a good thing.
It would be nice to be able to control the pump from the app for those of us that work in dusty environments and like to conceal the pump itself. I had an animas pump before my Medtronic and I could completely run the pump from the blood meter. The Medtronic pump is absolutely amazing but I absolutely miss that feature of having the remote and control from the meter so I could use the pump even though it was concealed.
What a waste of time and effort. This doesn't do much more than keep all of your pump info in another place. All of these settings are in the pump so why put them here too?
I agree totally on Jim Heath's posts.
Is it really that hard to get us an app that uploads CGM data to Carelink? I hate the clunky java Carelink web app as it is. But at least give us a way to upload via android. Even if we have to buy yet another interface device to do it. (For hundreds of $, no doubt) We don't need to order supplies via this mobile app. I'd never do that anyway. I always call, to ensure the order is right. And no one needs a reminder app like this. I'd rather get pump related recurring events from google calendar.
Not super useful. I was hoping to be able to easily connect to carelink... I wanted an easy way to track and manage everything (insulin, carbs, diet, exercise, ect.). It says it uses wifi, but what for? It's an OK app for those that need a "cheat sheet" for pump actions but I don't find the pump that difficult to use.
connect to the carelink web page to uploaded pump info?
Easy to use. Just what I need to keep on track
Should be able to upload pump information. And see info from account.
Should be able to pull info from main site since u sign in with same user and pass. Not sure exactly what this does for me.
They don't list my medtronic pump. They must think everyone can update with another $8000.00 pump when they come out with a new one. Mine is only 5 years old
A lot of the words are misspelled so I think that needs to be fixed.
It's perfect for someone with a Insulin pumps

Just like the company this app is a waste of time and space. Medtronic only cares about money and half service to their customer/patients. Pumps are good when programmed correctly, but don't expect Medtronic to help with that or to communicate with your Dr. For good health go with any of the other pump companies as they actually care and support their products and customers. Medtronic is an evil company that works with big pharma and prevents research for a cure because they favor money and not well being.
