Works so inconsistently, it's sort of pointless

Data is lost after app updated

Doesn't connect to the sleep light properly, can't control light or music, alarm setting doesn't work, many buttons seemingly do nothing. The only sound I can get the light to play is the waves sound which sounds unlike any waves I've ever heard. The LED when dim flickers annoyingly. I tried running the sleep tracker for 15 mins - it crashed then told me I'd slept for 7 hours. When trying to change settings for the light on the app it frequently tells me the light isn't connected even though I can see it on the network and also see that it's merrily sending data out into the internet even though it doesn't possess any data to send. I just don't understand how an app and a piece of hardware can be so bad and I frankly smell a scam. Avoid!

Long press of the main button that is supposed to start the sleep mode stopped working after the last update. The app also does not work well with the European summer time since I have to set the alarm to minus one hour all the time.

Previous version was better. Now, we have a bright white screen at night. The new main screen also requires spectacles and small fingers. Still, the power drain is big issue: why the app needs to run during the day?

I had reasonable expectations after buying the (the very pricey) nox sleepace which have not been met. This app routinely crashes through the night, the limited sounds have a noticeable pause before they replay, there is no clear instruction on how to use the app, and the overall interface is not well thought-out. I would recommend finding another option if you are looking for asleep monitoring and sleep aid system.

App keeps saying unable to generate report every morning! The app used to work fine before the last major update. And why does the app now need access to my phone to make calls?

The app requested permission to my entire phone and I am unable to view the license agreement before creating my account. The app says there is no network connection even though I have Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity. The box that says I agree defaults to being checked, which I will not do until I am able to view it!

Today the app wanted to install an update requiring the permission to place and reroute phone calls. Why on earth would a sleep monitoring software need to do that? Seems highly suspect. I also don't like the fact that updates need to allow unknown sources. What's wrong with the google play system that would make that necessary?

After first use, I get message 'sorry, program not responding, logging out'. This is on Android 7. Useless!

The app would recognize my sleep dot, but would not connect with it. I to returned the sleep dot.

I like the app as it seems to be quite informative with tips unlike other applications. It seems to be using all my battery during the day (about 3% an hour) though when I'm not using it and have to prevent the application from running in my settings. I'd also like an option to manually stop sleep tracking myself though rather than when the alarm gets turned off as I slept past my alarm time by an hour but no recorded stats for that extra hour.

The update changes the app quite a lot -with this latest update I think the app is pretty good but the automatic music starting Drives me crazy and i cant figure how to turn it off

I think this is a great piece of hardware, but the app could use some work on Android. Connectivity and stability issues keep a beautiful app from being great.

But again another example of it was not broke, so let's update it till it is unusable, and now device is on shelf not on bed

I've added the Reston/Sleepace product and app for about 4 months and until the update to 2.00.30 it worked fine enough. The tracking of my in and out of bed was automatic and great and the data consistent with other products I use. The new interface seems to make me tell in when I leave bed and is less informative on the main screen. Most significantly it stops at 48 minutes each time I've tried to use it. Makes product essentially unusable.

I'd like it better if I could download my data. Raw data, please.

On Note 4 - Bug that caused crashing on Lollipop has been fixed. Connection seems a bit quicker. Holding out hope that this app will continue to improve. 6/15/15 update - Device thinks I get out of bed several times a night so my sleep score has been poor. I do not get out of bed. Not sure what the problem is but there is a bug somewhere.

I dont understand how my sleep changed as much as this app says since a month...they removed the movement monitor and basicaly according to the app i used to sleep pretty bad with lots of movement.Now I sleep superb..according to the app.. evernight but I dont feel it is actualy true.Its good overall and I use it every night but seems to me they changed the app to actually give us better data while it is not precise.I am not convinced it is.

Works pretty nicely, and informative

Does not work with android 5.1. The app has many short comings, the way it updates, the way it syncs. It is far from polished. It does do it's intended job by tracking sleep well.

I've just installed the update and the app still won't open on my HTC one m7.

I think this is a great piece of hardware, but the app could use some work on Android. Connectivity and stability issues keep a beautiful app from being great.

My biggest complaint / concern is with the 10-15 minutes that out takes to connect to the RestON device each night, involving lots of pairing and unpairing, sometimes completely restarting my phone or tablet, enabling and disabling Bluetooth, binding and unbinding within the sleepace app, etc. Absolutely ridiculous. There are also some strange design choices made that don't quite fit the typical / expected Android experience but these are very minor in comparison to the connectivity issues and is learnable.

Turns on, connects, seems to track... But stopped saving data about a month ago... Basically got a lot worse over time and totally useless now. Very disappointing.
