ABC27 News | WHTM

Used to be great but the ads every time I back out of a story are awful.

Full page pop up ads are unbearable.

What's with this app lately? You pull up an article and half of it is missing. Please fix!

Love it, I can catch up on the news when I miss it on the TV.

Had problem with data connection and wasn't really liking how I would it's Noah show because it doesn't go in till commercial it just breaks off and says will return shortly and then other programs automatically added commercials in why I can't whtm news 27 do the same thing I don't want to see it program will return shortly show me the commercials that is being shown if it's live

One commercial is horrendously annoying. I close the app everyone it comes on. It's the music and the people. The Harold and Shepley ad, I'm uninstalling just because of this.

Very good app

Good content but ads frustrating, especially the continually showing up in full screen ad to install the abc 27 weather app. Most recent version causes phone to crash and be sluggish. Unfortunately had to Uninstall to make phone behave better.

Want to read news clips on the app keep seeing no news clips found and it's important news articles if this is going to be a news app show news and not no articles found find them and post them or don't post them at all

Every time I click on an alert when it comes up I get an error apologizing that the article is not available. Why bother?

The pop-up ads block the national and Pennsylvania news. Very frustrating.

I love this app and the abc27 team however every time I click back it displays a full screen advertisement. No, ad blockers don't help. Please fix this abc27!

To many ads

There are soo many ads the app is painful to use. The full page pop-up ads are super irritating. It's design is way outdated for Android (feels like a ported iOS app). Using ad-block software to block the apps adds makes the app run much smoother and is much faster to load between pages.

Is a good source of information.

Went to vote on the dance off and couldn't find it. Also couldn't find a comment section. But did find the stories I was looking for.

After an update, I opened a story and a pop-up ad opened and made a lot of noise, even though I had my volume turned the whole way down. I used to like this app, but will stop using it until this error is fixed.

Stop the annoying slow-to-load full screen ads. The latest with the dog barking is really annoying. I should call the advertiser to complain about the ad.

Very disappointed in the ads that pop up prior to home page on your app. This seems to be a new thing as I've had your app for nearly a year and it hasn't been an issue until recently. I will be deleting app if it continues. When I open it I want to read the news not some pop up and or video about a lawyer.

Once I get past the unbearable and constant ads (I'll NEVER use the plumber with the sparkling tooth because he pops up EVERY time I want to check the news or weather), it's a good app. Update on 8/1: the ads have finally reached a point that I'm deleting the app.

It lists school closings, not other closings like businesses or churches. Had to go to the website. Since I'll have to use the website anyway, I'll uninstall the app.

Everything I hit back to the list of news a lawyer ad pops up... make it stop

I've had this app for a while now and love it but for the past week or so, it keeps freezing and closing. I've been in contact with my carrier who reconnected my phone to their network in hopes that the app would re-register and start working correctly but it didn't. I also uninstalled and reinstalled it with no luck. I wish this issue would get fixed. I rely on this app to stay up to date with the news.

I wish they would permanently stop with the weather app pop up. It's very annoying & why I don't want to use the news app anymore. If I wanted the weather app I would install it. Goodbye abc27!

If I wanted to install the ABC27 weather app, I would! Every single time the app is opened, this annoying pop up takes over my screen. Please undo!
