Media5-fone VoIP SIP Softphone

I can hear nothing whenever answering call but the caller can hear me. Should I buy some more function to work as a normal phone?

Just set it up on my Galaxy s8 and it was hassle free. Even managed to make first voice call, crystal clear audio. Couldn't be more happier.

I was able to register from Samsung galaxy s6. however I cannot open the app. It give me an error message "media 5 fone has stopped", any solution to this please? Not able to work from home until this is fixed.

Hi.. can u help me.. why when i use maxis line this app cannot support.. but when i change to celcom line this app can be use.. i try use another maxis line but still same.. can u help me how can i use my maxis line to this app

The app works fine but the battery drained faster! need to add some features like, stop the vibration on each disconnection. Sometimes i need to delete the configurations and add them again to work

I don't recommend this app. Paid for all features. Now it crashes. Never connected to server on LTE. Sent logs to support team many times but no response. Other free app works fine on my phone.

This one of the most feature rich sip sofphones on the planet. Your hold method "inactive" does not work however. When set to"inactive" still uses "sendonly" method. Please fix for 5 stars

The app keeps crashing. It was great till it basically died.

It works perfectly well on iPhone with VoIP.ms but server won't accept connection on android so it dies not work for me any advice

Black screen on my LG V20 when Accept Call button is pressed. This doesn't happen when I press Loudspeaker button followed by Accept Call button. Wish the Contacts are split between native phone contacts and the IP phone contacts. Also, I hate the Green app button appearing on the notification bar. I want it to completely disappear and appears only to notify Missed Calls.

When you call someone and you put the phone on the ears, it is not turn off the screen, it is very annoying because you touch the screen and it is disconnect the call... :( when it is comming a update for this bug, I will give 5 star for sure :)

It's a good product technically, but not reliable since it disconnects regularly and it will work fine after we restart the phone. Same problem my colleague is facing. The support rarely respond to support mails. Our voip specialist is asking us to shift to another app which is stable, but I am hesitate since I paid for the Media5-fone.

Put message in calls saying one moment please then re connect the call after network reset

Black Screen during calls. No keypad or phone functionality during calls. App stops for no reason from time to time

Keeps crashing when I enter my SIP provider details. Can't see an option to direct calls over 4G when connected to WiFi. My WiFi quality is bad.

When I have call I can't use keypad. Keypad doesn't work during call.

The application does not register with my server after repeated attempts.

So far I can't even get it to connect to my server so as fr as I'm concerned it doesn't work at all.

App is not running in background..it goes shutdown everytime..

Been using this for 5 years and has been great until now. Upgraded phone running Android 7 and now like so many others have a black screen whilst on a call and no way to end call or use any feature of the app. Other than this it is still the best and it is such a shame. Come on guys why can't you fix this because it was always a five star by a mile?

Calls ring and can answer but at first could not hear anything. Any specific settings that will work ?

Not able to save favourites or enable contacts in app. So I have to either memorise all extentions in my office or I have to revert to a paper list.

Just paid over 6 euros of in app features and all I get when calling is a black screen. :( grrrrrr...

After testing all the major sip phone apps available, i consider this app to not be up to scratch. A few small improvements would make it my top choice, here is my list in priority order, 1] proximity sensor to work on incoming calls when in pocket & block notifications bar& menu buttons when in call [i've dropped calls by accidentally switching off wifi, ] 2] have 2 accounts registered at the same time 3] make it a simple process to switch between accounts. 4] to clunky to get to favorites to make a call, does work well when in call [does messages need it's own window? use it for favorites] . Interface is one of the best, a different ring tone when running 2 different sip accounts would be nice but not essential,, i found this app to be the most reliable business sip apps available. have used on & off for several months, Whatever app you choose make sure your codecs match your provider / pbx codecs as this makes a huge difference to call quality. Look forward to your apps development, you have already fixed a lot of day to day issues that make your app stand out from the others, tested in a small business environment on a 5x running Nougat, review updated 23/2/17

Could you please add sip call minutes limitations option like 100/200 minutes limitations in free version..

After trying different crappy VoIP apps, I searched for "G.711" on Google play store and I found this. I was reluctant about installing it at first because I have only experienced disappointments with all the ones I have tried before. After testing the features for just an hour, I am giving a 5 star for this app already because it solves my problems. Thanks to the developers of this great app. Edit: No option for call waiting when there is a normal phone call. The SIP call automatically goes on hold!!

Imposible to close app, connection drops, proximity sensor not working, ui need to ve improved.

Rubbish, doesnt work most of the time :( ... and if then only 1 way audio
