Lightning Bug - Sleep Clock

I used to love Lightning Bug. I've been using it for ages on the wave/beach sounds. However, the recent update makes it crash every time I open the program. Neither force closing the program nor restarting my phone fixes it. Please help me get good sleep back!

Updated approx a wk ago & now it can't load. It just crashes repeatedly. What is being done to resolve! ? I see I am not the only one complaining. Sad loyal user. Please fix ASAP. ..

Always my favourite relaxation app in the past, I even paid for all the plug ins but lost all these when I tried to add them to my new phone. Just crashes all the time now, only way I can get put of it is to turn my phone off completely.

Doesn't work for me on my Google Pixel anymore, the sounds have gone glitchy. What a shame. Please fix this great app

I just updated it and it now no longer works. It locks up my phone and I have to reboot my phone to get it off of there

From best to worst in one update. Used to run perfectly across multiple devices, now crashes on start on all of them.

Uninstalled. Useless after latest crippled "update". Can't even run.

New update is fantastic, works great on my new Google pixel XL 2 running 8.1 Oreo THX lightningbug.me

Trouble with alarm and boomsound staying on after close. Freezes phone during settings.

Hands down the best app of its kind! I work 12hr midnight shifts and find it hard to wind down when it's time to lie down. When I get home I fire up my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2)..load the app and I'm out in about 5 - 10 min. My favorite mix is Fireplace, Dove and Thunder..The add-ons are varied and cater to different tastes..some free with others at about .99 cents..Very reasonable. You can set the app to close after a pre-determined amount of time..you can set up and customize the clock, fonts, alarms, snooze..the list goes on and on. Works great on my Galaxy Note 2 as well..good if the wife or my son are using the tablet.Highly recommend this one. A must have for the sleep deprived!

I love this app. But It won't work on my phone. Freezes and then crashes and most of the plug ins are gone and don't show at all. I this app helps me sleep and I can't find one as good as this one

Fantastic app. Unfortunately, I recently upgraded to a Google Pixel and now it doesn't run properly. The app freezes when I try to change scenes and I have to force close the app. Please look into this. I've used this app for years and would hate to have to stop using it.

I have tinnitus & have terrible trouble sleeping. This app is perfect for me as I can customize the sounds to suit the pitch and volume to disguise the ringing ???? I can't sleep without it!!

I wrote a negative review years ago when I had my S3 on OS v4.4.2. Such a great app but it cannot seem to keep up with OS updates, and one again, unusable skipping on OS 6.0.1 and now an S7 on OS7. How about some OS compatible updates? A paying customer! Will rate now 3 stars: Super loops and mixer, but skipping is a serious issue, minus 2 stars. Would also like to see a settings backup!

Absolutely sucks on Nougat. Will not turn off, have to restart phone. Noticable skips in sound loop. Been a customer for years but I'm done now. I hope they fix this app because it is my favorite, I just can't deal with the issues any longer.

Used to love this app, until i installed the winter pack. Set it to blizzard and then it forced stopped but with the sound still going and every time I try to to into the app it throws me out????

Was a great app until OS update. Now skips and is annoying. Sent report to developer, answered their question then nothing. No updates for over a year. Looks like this app has been abandoned by its developer. It's a shame because this was the best app of it's kind.

This thing crashed my LG G5 today and failed to load after reboots. Tried one final time and it crashes and froze my phone completely for 10 minutes. It's a great app if the bugs get worked out, but I actually had to delete files left after uninstalling to get the sound to stop! The developer website isn't updating, so I'm afraid they abandoned the app.

Same complaint as everyone else. Marshmallow update on Sprint Galaxy S6 Edge and get the stuttering every 10-15 secs. 5 star app before. Also an insomniac and this app helps greatly!

I use this on my Google Nexxus phone, mostly on nights when I'm having trouble sleeping. I'm almost never still awake when the app automatically stops at 30 minutes (with the sleep timer). Really love it!

I love the app but when I installed the other plug-ins, now it keeps force quitting on Blizzard and I have to keep restarting my phone to turn it off. And now I can't open it at all. Please help - I would love to rate 5 stars but this is the only issue right now.

For years this has been my go to app for ambient noise for sleep. Seems the app hasn't been significantly updated in quite a while. Which is a shame. Paid for upgrades, I dint want a refund, I just want my beloved app to work properly. Skipping and stuttering completely defeats the purpose. Galaxy S7. Android Marshmallow

This app is great, but plugins have stopped working ever since my phone upgraded to marshmallow. I'm only making this a low rating in the hopes that this gets read and the problem is fixed. The app shuts down right away, but the sound still plays. I have to restart my phone to get it to stop. I uninstalled the app and it worked fine when I reinstalled, but crashed again when I downloaded and started the winter blizzard pack. Playing the winter sounds while in normal mode works fine.

I've had this app since the beginning. With the new update for android OS kind of blew it up. Uninstalled then reinstalled, now it's awesome again. I have an LG K7, software version K33010h.

Last several nights ive noticed the recording restarts every minute or so.. and u can hear the slightest of pauses in the rain... very annoying... please give attention to this

As an insomniac since teenhood, I've tried every trick and gadget in the world in search of restful sleep -- including expensive whitenoise machines. This little app is by far the best! Unlike most "ocean sound" effects, this app doesn't just cycle through the same ten seconds of sound in a monotonous pattern. Lightning Bug has a long enough repeat time to produce a sound that feels much more natural. For me, this has a all the difference.

Love the app & Great support - I sent email on a Sunday and got a live reply in minutes. The problem is my 6.1 upgrade operating system is not compatible with this app and that needs to be addressed.

One of my favorite apps. Some skipping in loop but hardly more than slightly noticable. Used every night to fall asleep for almost 2 years.... now, after i JUST finally got around to updating to Marshmallow on my Galaxy S5... ... the freaking app opens for one second then force closes with an unexpected error exception. Tried re-install but it only fixes it temporarily... and immediately goes back to dying at app launch the second i use BLizzard in the qontwr pack. PLEASE FIX! MY SLEEP IS SUFFERING!!!!!!

I've loved this app for years, but recently it started having playback issues. Dev suggested using Ambio which fixed my issue. It imported my plugins, so I didn't waste any money.

I've been using this app for a while now and some of the continuous sounds get cut off. Please fix?

Loved the app on my older phones, but it doesn't work on Android 7. Will update when/if the compatibility issues are fixed.

Please fix it. Was so good. Why skip have a sec every 10 to 20 tho. :$ even enabled lightening bug audio. Removed. Restarted redownloaded... Same issue. Please fix

Uninstalled I dunno what you've done but what ever it is change it back.. There's the most annoying gap now I'n the play loop which stands out like a sore thumb.... Not so relaxing anymore

Have used this app for years, especially when traveling. Now it has a stutter. Please fix it! Then I can give it a proper rating.

I loved this app but since updating to marshmallow there are very noticeable gaps in the loop every 10 seconds or so. Makes the app unusable.
