Voice Recorder

Just got this yesterday, so still messing around with options etc but.... So, I needed a way to record music that was playing on my phone through Spotify. I dont think you can layer the sounds/drop a eddited sound clip over another. I wanted to make ringtones and other short, edited recordings. This is Easy to trim, add multiple clips to make 1 long, or whatever your recording needs are.

Easy and clear, sounds as expected(easy to work with). Great for notes and conversation and even works for a little acapella... TV at normal volume 7 feet away and it wasn't picked up by the mic which is a big plus compared to other recording apps with a lot of feedback. Haven't tried recording chords or multiple sources yet but not worried.

I have only used this app a few times, and like it so far. A few times it seems to have a glitch in the recording playback. And twice it has randomly stopped recording without me telling it to. Overall, I do still like the app as it mostly does what I need it to do and is easy to navigate. Needs a few tweaks though! :)

I tried a dozen different apps and this is the best by far. It does it all with a well thought out interface. I plan to pay for the non-ad version soon, but after 2 weeks the ads aren't terrible, just a bit jarring when they video ones pop in. I should note that I use this mostly for voice memos on the go.

App is straightforward, easy to use, but because I record long lectures, sometimes the app stops recording randomly, and I don't even know when it stopped recording so I missed parts or sometimes a huge chunk of the lecture if I don't keep checking if it's still recording or not. Not recommended for recording longer than 10 minutes.

Ya, simple, great. A slick suggestion -- have file names be two components: a base name and an iterating number. If I open HomeWork7.mp3 and then hit record, it will default to start recording to file HomeWork8.mp3 so I don't have to type a filename when I save. When I go to record again, default = HomeWork9.mp3

I've tried many voice recording apps and this is the best. I particularly like that I can record my voice while listening to music over a different app ... All the other voice recording apps I tried would cancel the music once I started recording my voice, thus requiring me to re-start my music app after each recording event - a major PITA for anyone dictating in fits and starts.

I love this! It's very easy to use, has good quality and perhaps most importantly lets me record for a LONG time! I hate being kicked out at a certain time limit by others I've used. Thank you for making this quality free program!

Good app for free could use a dropdown pause button but other than that pretty good for something that's free even though AD removal is the gain and AD money too. But who am I to complain when I don't even know how to code.

It is great, except for when I go to listen to my lecture and it just turns off every 10 to 30 min. I don't know exactly where I left off, so that can be annoying. Otherwise, it works very well. I will come to rate it a 5 if they fix the issue.

This is The Best Audio Recording App ever, I am a frequent User of Audio Recorder due to my work, and I've used a ton of Different apps in the past, But someone suggested me this one and boy o boy, Was he Right? I SAY GODDAMN!!

Does everything that you would think a voice recorder should do. No fancy bells or whistles just a record button and it's a feature. All the good things in life LOL enjoy the application it works for me.

From what Ive seen here, this doesnt allow for multiple different recordings.It recorded right over what I had placed in it. Now the pieces are gone with no other record of it. These are tunes that come to me and I vocalize them onto tape so I can work with them later. Gone, completely GONE. As far as Im concerned, thats like losing a baby and not able to hear its first laugh or cry. It may have been my fault, but there are no directions. Ive got to toss this. Has great sound, but only if you have one tune to your imagination.

Clear recording. Very impressed as a first time user. I had to use something to record a very important meeting yesterday and pulled the trigger to download this. It never failed me! Thanks a lot!

Quality of recording from meeting has been good. Tryed recording phone call but couldn't heard the other side too well. Not sure if it's meant for phone recording. It'd be nice if it can do that as well.

Great app, does what it's supposed to do, easy interface, no fussing around bout having to figure everything out. Great sound and recording quality, that's a huge plus for me. Also let's you know how long you can record based on free space. Very happy with it, had to use it just once but I still have it because it's so simple.

Good features for a free program. Ads don't really bother me that much. I needed this after my built-in Samsung voice recorder would freeze up. This is much better anyway.

I love this idea and this app! The only thing I would change is this: sometimes I cannot edit the files after I record them. If this is fixed then I will rate it with 5 stars!

Super fun & easy to use. I made a mock online quiz with ridiculous sounds made by my mouth for an Ornithology Lab! My professor was totally into messing with the rest of the class with it! hahaha!

Thank you so much. This app has helped me greatly. To be able to minimize it and read my notes and lyrics to myself has been pivotal with my device and having no ads to slow my progress is imperative.

Argh!!! I needed this app gor an interview for school; the first timeI tested it out, it recorded for over 40min to see if it would work even after I've gotten out of range from wifi (it did, and it was great!). Unfortunately, when I actually needed it for a 40min+ interview, it didn't even record for 15min!! Looks like I'm getting a bad grade. ????????

This was my first experience with this app. It was in perfect working order. It was clear and accurate. Im using it to record repair items at home...and working well. Improvement suggestion. Configure a pause and continue feature...i may have missed it

How Do You Record To SD? I went into Options and wanted to select SD Card as the default Save Setting. It is not highlighted. Is that only available for the paid version?

I was recording my differential equations professor, when i stopped by itself. Every single second in that class means 400 hours outside of class. So yea this comprehensive final is going to be a b______

It helps you keep an eye on storage space and I can still run it with my screen off. It stays recording through phonecalls and notifications without any problems. I use it all the time to record lectures. Great app.

I've tried other sound-recording apps and figured the low quality was a result of my phone, and was amazed at how much clearer everything sounds with this app! It has made a huge difference and now even the most casual recordings sound podcast-ready.

This little program does its job right. Tells you the data used as you record and the length of the file. Simple and everything I need. Thank you developer. Edit: I'd like to add that the audio quality is amazing and the fact that you can keep recording while you do other things on the phone is super helpful. It's really a great program and I rely on it almost everyday. If you need to record your voice, this is the only program you will need. Seriously, stop looking. You have arrived.

It did what I hoped it would, recorded nicely and was easy to save and edit, however they weren't kidding about the ads. I completely swipe all of my apps clean and it still spontaneously turns on and plays a video ad, loud and obnoxious with music!!!! WTH?! The only thing that stopped it was restarting my phone. I don't know if the creator's intentionally designed for this to happen or if it was an accident, but it is absolutely annoying. FIX IT. Uninstalled. I'll find another one to use.

I recorded my wife singing "The Wedding Song" for a friend's wedding that we cannot attend. The recording sounded like she was really there.

App seems great and probably deserves 5+ stars but it's asking for a rating literally the first time I opened the app and I absolutely hate that! Shouldn't ask for us to rate app until opening app at least a few times, not 30 seconds after download! Please take this into consideration because I would love to give 5 stars to several apps but refuse to when app ask for rating immediately without option to 'rate later' like a few apps have finally added.

Does what it's supposed to do, easily. I haven't recorded long audio clips so I can't comment about the reliability, but for short clips and voice memos it's great. Thanks guys, you should teach Google to incorporate audio recorders into their mobile software.

Better then other Sound Recording apps out there. Of course 4.8 rating gives it away. I'd give this app all 5 stars.

This is a great app that has helped me tremendously! On my way to work I use it to record my motivational thoughts and listen to them when I get to work. I recommend everyone to download this app and sit there motivating yourself through speech and doing a playback. Guaranteed to raise your spirits and wake you up out of your funk!

I had to go and rescue my sister from a bad relationship where she been druged and beat when I got her she was talking wreckless needed an app to record the trip back to cover my butt thank you

I like this recorder but it doesn't do much good if it keeps turning off by itself. I even tried airplane mode and it still turned off on its own

Decent app, but the ads are oppressive. This developer has clearly created nearly identical copies of the app to maximize ad revenue. Shady. Sony developed an ad-free app that works just as well.

Has some good editing features, but it does not reverse audio. And speed control doesn't affect pitch as expected; it would be good to have both options.

It obviously doesn't replace a real audio recorder, but it's a good replacement. It's good for audio notes, instant recordings and even works well for interview recordings.
