WiFi Pro FTP Server for Android
Finally found exactly what I was looking for, thanks. For SD card users: Make / the default directory and then go to "storage" on Android 6.
My search for the network copy app ends.
Probably the best, easy ftp app. FtpServer seems to have a little more control over advanced settings, and seems to be a little better at random jumping while streaming a video. So, I prefer that as a "pro" user, but this app is probably the best "easy to use" ftp app on android
Pretty well designed. It would be nice if it showed current connections. But it works well with a browser or a FTP client. You can't always copy files TO every location on the phone because of Android's protections. That's a good thing.
Simple and perfect, works with FileZilla. Worth the money.
Simple, easy to use, excellent.
Works perfect
Clean, no nonsense, stable app. kudos to the Dev.
Great app, works as adviced 5 stars.
Very good app.
I just transferred 11 music albums - almost exactly 1 gig - from my computer to my Galaxy Note 4 in about 6 minutes. I would take off a half a star if I could only because I wish it allowed transfer directly to the external SD card. I can read from it but not write to it. But this might be an Android limitation as other ftp apps do the same thing. Still, it's easy enough to move the files to the SD card using the Android file manager. Only took about a minute to move those 11 albums.
Works great
after few days of use, it's not copying files to phone now.
Nice FTP server

I use this app to transfer music and pictures to and from my phone and my windows 10 PC. It's quicker and more convenient than taking the SD card out and windows USB is flaky. Just turn on FTP and sync over my home WiFi. Job done.
