iSupr8 Vintage Super 8 Camera

It has that true 8 mm film quality look and feel to it. With nostalgia making a ginormous comeback, this will certainly fit right in. Though it's not as good as having the actual Super 8 camera, you at least don't have to spend money on buying the film and paying to have it developed.

This is the very first app I've ever paid for and it is well worth the $0.99. You can make your video in 8 different effects and add all sorts of extra effects if you want to. Highly recommended.

It doesn't wotk with my Huawei. No differences from one camera to the other. Plus, not easy to understand, you pay for it and then more in-app purchases. A rip off!

Wow!!! BIG COMEBACK!!! I remember summer of 2014 when I was searching online for a grind house filter app and I found this but it wasn't supported by Google play. I downloaded the apk because I badly wanted it after seeing the YouTube video which I watched over and over. I had finally got it and messed with it going into 2015 and decided it was too intricate to use and did have the quality I was looking for. Looked for it some time later. Couldn't find it. Found it again on Google play today and it now supports full hd! You can also important previously recorded videos!!! Wow! I'm impressed. The only problem I have now is that it crashes once in a while but still I would highly recommend this for any retro video or photo fan or filmmaker. Even just for the filters. This app makes a super comeback! Thank you developers! ❤❤❤❤❤????????????????

I wish it had the option to save processing videos to the SD card instead of the phone's internal memory so it doesn't make my phone slow.

5 stars just for the effort, great app! I would love to see a feature where I could save onto my sd card instead of the preset internal memory though, perhaps you could add this feature in an update? I will definitely be using this on some of my productions :)

I read from other reviews you can import your existing videos but I dont see an option for that. Plus it doesn't have a front facing camera option. Very disappointed in this app :- /

Where are these in-app purchases you speak of? I'd like to try something different from the 8 filters that come with the app, but there doesn't appear to be any way to do so.

I love everything about this app other than the fact that in medium or high quality mode the film becomes stretched out of 4:3 aspect to fill the mobile screen - deeply annoying.

Not a fan of the interface and the app crashes pretty regularly. Needs more options like different frames and a projector sound.

Have a class project that requires filming. This app does the job!! The filters and film are great for classic videos

Images don't change after processing - Video does but it's extremely pixelated. Just doesn't do the super8 thing for me.

Keeps telling me error has occurred every time in develop a film.

Love the look of it but can't see where to buy the extra film stocks. Help!

Excellent app! This has the "feel" of Super 8, to be sure. I don't know about earlier versions, but you can now import your own videos to process. I've used this with 18fps movies shot with Cinema FV-5 to great effect. Next up is trying it out on my rendered Poser animations.

I think this will become one of my go-to apps for video production on my phone. The stocks look really authentic, with good control over the parameters. I'd love to see user-selectable framerates in addition to simulating lower framerates with flicker. Larger fonts in the UI would be helpful. Apart from that the UI is great. HTC One M8, Android 6.

I've been using this app for maybe 2 years and I still love it! They could fix the random crashes, but the video quality is unbeatable for that old school look.

Brilliant app...true to life film stocks. Would like to have some frame rate control in android(why does iOS get a better version) and a fix for the un playable video and unable to be developed issues. But I will give it a 5 star rating for the fine emulation of vintage film.

The biggest problem is that it does not feel like Super8 at all! The playful UI tries to bring some Super8 feel but the resulting movie is not that super8y. A lot worse: the filming process itself has no super8 in it. A super8 is held vertical. It films as long as you pull the trigger. It makes a very special sound while recording and you feel the vibration. It appends all recordings to one film. All this would be possible in an app! Plus: the 18/20/24 FPS are missing! I want my money back!!!

Needs more options. Interface is dumb.

DESPERATELY needs a way to lower frame rate on videos to make it look half authentic, GUI is terrible, otherwise it's a good app.
