Mealime - Healthy Meal Plans for Android
If you have food allergies this is for you. This is the first meal planner that I've found where I can put in a ton of my weird food allergies and get recipes without those foods. No dairy, avocado, fish, mellons, treenuts, fish, or bananas, plus low carb. 100% yes. Plus the recipes are yummy and easy to follow. My only suggestion is going easy on the amount of oil they want you to use.
Very easy to use! I love how it gives you your grocery list. Plus every dish has my kids saying it looks like something from a restaurant and the whole family has clean plates in the end.
Exactly what I was wanting! So easy to use and I'm sure it even saved me money since I didn't have to guess how much I needed at the grocery store. I don't usually rate apps but I think this is the most useful one I have ever found.
Why there is no search function to go back to a recipe that you have liked and want to find again? Why can't I find the heart to add recipes to my favourites list?
All of the recipes we've tried so far have been easy and delicious. I love being able to eliminate foods because of allergies or dislikes...and having a low carb option made it even better than other apps we've tried.
Needs more options for allergies and "cooking styles." While this app does have a lot more options than most apps that are similar to it I wish it would allow you to customize things like allergies. For example I'm allergic to Peppers but since that's not an allergy option I keep getting recipes that have peppers in them. There's also no option to customize foods you don't like otherwise I would just click that I don't like any type of peppers. It would also be nice if you could customize your cooking/recipe options more. For example I need to eat a low FODMAP diet for health reasons so it would be nice if I could click on that as an option and then only get recipes that follow that criteria.
Wonderful- Super user friendly, I love the grocery list feature, and the meals are superb! Really helps cut the stress out of making dinner every night.
My wife and I have been using this for about 2 weeks now. We plan on Saturday and then go shopping on Sunday. We've found areas in which we normally spend too much money and have a more consistent shopping list/schedule now. The meals have been 95% pretty amazing - it has us trying new dishes each week for dinner. Love it.
I love the ingredient check off list. Easy to use. Healthy meals and you get to choose what things you don't want in your meals if you're picky.
Vegetarian does not include Parmesan cheese, and please include a low carb option.
Some of the best recipes I've ever made. Makes dinner planning super easy!
This app is already great- it has the possibility of being the greatest ever in its class with a little growth.
Weekly meals and shopping are a breeze, I do sometimes add to meals to make them more filling or more palatable to kids.
This app is brilliant. Excellent recipe choices with clear and easy to follow instructions! Makes planning meals so easy!
Great app. It's really useful for planning meals and keeping track of groceries
The grocery list feature saves my life
It is helping me stick to my budget!
Easy to use, love the grocery list!
Great app, worth the upgrade.
Would be better with a budgeting option
Excellent paleo receipex
This is seriously a life changer. I am no longer aimlessly browsing Pinterest, this app simplifies everything by customizing dietary needs, giving you options of 2 to 4 servings, with 4-6 menu items per week. The itemized grocery list for every recipe makes shopping so much easier, and cheaper! Plus, every recipe has been a home run, and now that I am cooking meals portioned for my husband and I, we have saved money on groceries and even started losing weight! Seriously, I tell everyone I meet about this app! :D
Our family loves this app. I love cooking and trying new foods but have very little time for meal planning. This app has saved me so much time meal planning and grocery shopping. Most importantly, the meals are really good. I rarely have had one that I didn't like, and many are good enough to become regulars in the meal rotation. The flexibility with what ingredients you would like to include is also a huge plus.
The food is healthy and very tasty. This app is convenient and helps me save money by buying the exact amount of food I need. My suggestions for improvements: being able to plan breakfast and lunch as well, option to choose quick meals, too many ingredients that can be expensive.
Absolutely amazing app. Grocery list is sectioned perfectly, meals aren't expensive and incredibly easy to make plus they taste amazing. I will say that if you have a nut allergy double check the recipes. I've had a few peanut sauces slip in.
Currently eating my 3rd meal this week, this app is amazing! Provides a full shopping list and great meals for the week. The initial cost is a bit high when you have to buy the different oils and spices, but they last a while. I'm so happy that I'm getting to try things I never would have made otherwise.
Wow. I rarely (like never) review apps but this one deserves a review. I have been using this app for several weeks (just the free version) and have been blown away by how easy it is to use and how delicious the recipes have been! I am gluten-intolerant and have my preferences set on low-carb and gluten free and still there have been plenty of recipes to choose from. I love that you can decide how many meals you want and they pretty much do the rest. I also LOVE how they choose recipes that use similar ingredients for less waste. As much as I love spending hours searching for recipes online only to decide to just go out...I really don't. But! I do love being able to have an easy night where I know I have the ingredients since I already had the list and went yesterday to buy them all and then I dont have to think about what to make, aside from picking which recipe sounds the best that night. It has been super fun to use and again, all the recipes have turned out great! My husband has even been impressed. If the app keeps up being this awesome I might buy the premium version (something I would never do). Seriously, this app is worth it. I could go on and on, thank you Mealime!
You can't set a target calorie or adjust macro targets although on the upgraded plan you can apparently see calories and macros, why would I want to pay to see that the targets weren't what I wanted. Good idea but not quite right.
I've used the app for 1 meal plan of 4 meals. It's got great filters for different diets such as paleo, and for allergies, as well as just filtering out disliked foods. All the recipes are shown in an intuitive navigation, and the grocery list is easy to use.
I have 2 jobs, 3 dogs, and a 6 month old. This app does all the planning and is a life saver. I spend 30-45 mins cooking whatever recipe is shows me and my family has healthy awesome meals every night. I love the paleo option.
Very detailed and useful. Really love the app. The only thing holding me back from rating it 5 stars is that it doesn't have features to track the proteins you've eaten on weekly basis (or export that to an app like myfitnesspal)
Fantastic app! It's really easy to use, and very clear on what you're cooking and how to cook it. The only thing I'm not sure about is when it asks you how a recipe was, if it means "did you like the food?" or "was the recipe written clearly?".
Tried it for 1 week and love it so far. There was only 1 out of 4 meals that was just ok. The others were great and easy to make. It uses a lot of common ingredients, so you don't have to get 20 different things for 1 recipe. This really helps simplify planning my meals for the week. May even consider upgrading to the paid version, and I never pay for apps.
Great for meal planning and organizing a grocery list. The recipes felt mediocre, however. I think I would benefit more by finding recipes on Pinterest instead.
Not really impressed. The meals are good but it doesn't give you any of the nutritional information unless you pay 6 bucks a month. Meh.
Love this app! Switched from Plated to this and we love it. You're able to choose how you eat (vegetarian, paleo, etc.) You can also select things you don't like or are allergic to. We use these recipes every night we eat at home!
I love this app. As a subscriber, this is what I would like to see in future updates. Pricing on items Select a store such as wal mart to help with pricing. A wish list option. I tend to be in this app more than Facebook. I see the food I want for next week but have no way to save it. User reviews of the meal. Simple voice commands for cooking mode such as "back" or "next" I love this app and recommend it to everyone.
Love how it gives you a grocery list ready to go and amounts for just 2 people. I would always make way to much before.
This app would be great if it had an option to filter out dairy, eggs, and honey. Why are there only two allergen options? The pictures displayed here suggest there should be more.

Super great and easy to use. One feature request would be to highlight recipes while making a meal plan that would use up perishable ingredients from your LAST meal plan. Or help in creating the plan initially so that there are less half portions of veggies and cheese at the end of the week. Thanks!
