CC Gallifreyan Translator

I have taken a little time to look over some of the strings I've typed in. It can be difficult to see how they are built, but they do follow the guidelines given under the question mark. Pluses, they are aesthetically pleasing, are easy to see, and are simple to save or post. The main improvement I would like to see is for this app to use punctuation. Hats of to the programer/designer.

I don't get why people are so mad at the creators. When you write a sentence in English lessons you wouldn't write the next one exactly the same. For example, if I repeat the first sentence I wrote here, this one being "I don't get why people are so mad at the creators." if I wasn't using it as a quote, I'd put, People are mad at the creators but I can't see a reason to.'. This is a brilliant app for whoovians who are committed to the shows story and style, in which the creators are. This is more realistic.

There's a glitch that leaves lines streaming of the circles that should not be there. The same word refreshed gives me different circles. So yes it's random.

Great app. One problem. I wrote these words into the app and It crashed."I am bad wolf. I create myself".???

One problem: When I enter text, there's a streak of white coming off the writing. I think this may be an error.

I was having fun when I put an emoji on it and caused a runtime error

I was so exited about this app but its just truly random tried Chris over and over and over again and evry single one was different. If i could give this 0 out of 5 I would in a heartbeat.

This is a really great Gallifreyan app. I especially like the Space background which is super cool. Maybe you let us save it as a GIF with the space background moving, if that's possible? Just a suggestion. :) Thanks for the great app!

Cool little easter egg I found was that if you translate the word doctor who then refresh it a few times the words "help me" flash on the screen for a few seconds in yellow writing

It doesn't even correctly translate, very disappointed.

If you write a word and then translate, it'll put it in Gallifreyan writing and then if you hit refresh it'll wright it again in a different way. This app is worthless.

Okay let's get this out of the way first. IT IS NOT RANDOM! This type of gallifreyan is /extremely/ variable. You could easily write the same word half a dozen different ways or more, and senaences have even more possibilities. If you look, really look, at the different results you get for the same word, you can start to recognise the fundamental shapes that make up the letters. That being said, i would have prefered doctor's cot gallifreyan, but seeing as it is phoenetic, that would have been very hard

First, TO THOSE WHO SAY THIS APP IS UNACCEPTABLE, there are many fan-made versions of Gallifreyan AND it is called an artistic language because the same word CAN be drawn in more than one way. Actual issues: needs to use the 2 letter rule in CC Gallifreyan for conciseness, I and E are drawn very similarly esp. in small words, TH and NG combos are ignored, have to manually update after changing the word or phrase, more on the way

This is misunderstood. Most of the time the words come out linear, verse other circular Gallifreyan writing. And the reason why everything seems to change so much, is because if the interpretation to linear, which could change from one writer to the next. It's neat. If you want to actually learn the writing, not the app for you.

Put you name you get one lot of symbols, try it again later you get something else..good idea but doesnt work. Looks good but not accurate

All Gallifreyan is fan created. This version has so many variables that it appears random. Another popular version of Gallifreyan Circle writing only varies on where lines are placed and has a bottom to top, counter clockwise rule for placement and reading. The app is very functional, but nerds (let's be honest, we hardcore Whovians are nerds) like a bit of order to our Cannon and a Time Lord language with more logic. I gave an extra star 'cause the app does what it is supposed to and is not random symbols.

I spent enough time to understand that this actually isn't that random and I'm going to do a little bit more research and see if I can actually translate some things on Doctor Who because they are the same patterns they do Twist and Turn but I guess that's what Gallifrey words do I guess so I really like this app actually so thumbs up

There's stupid shadows that won't go away from the top left corner you get lines coming down and they turn into the symbols and there's no way to get rid of it now matter what word you type in or what effect you choose.

When u type in one thing, it is something different later. Some are just circles, not even Gallifreyan. Check the BBC website for 'the truth'.

Why did it say "HELP ME" when I was trying to translate? Can anyone tell me?

Fantastic app

This may look like the Gallifreyan writing on the Doctor's cot, but these are actually number and space-time symbols. If you know Gallifreyan you'll know there are lines involved, and there are symbols for each letter in a circle for words, and each word circle is put into a larger circle for sentences. This app is fake, but it is easily confused with the real writing for a new learner.

My friends keep sending me pics of this messaging me so I go over to look but as soon as I close it I forget would be cool to have an automatic translator like I put in a pic of one of these sayings and it spits out what it says...

It has I light beaming from the background ad get in the way of the writing plus when I refresh the same sentence it keeps changing it is not the real language.

It is a good app but I have found better gallifreyan translators out there and not all the gallifreyan is correct

So good, please make for windows phones, my son has one and he would love this great app
