AirText - Texting App for Android
This app is dank. I'd much rather have a standalone app than confuse my imessage texts with my android ones. Great job, guys.
Great app. Very seamless and easy to use. Would like it more if the Mac client was able to send emojis easier instead of me having to click the emoji button choosing the emoji and then having to repeat (I'm an emoji spammer). Other than that great app. Works very well
I turned it off because it alerted me to upgrade every...single...hour. I would have liked to continue to see how it works, but who has time to shut down notifications every hour while trying out a product? How would I know they'd stop annoying me after I bought it if it's that bad before the purchase? Either do a trial with, say, 100-200 messages free, or just make it a paid app up front.
I have been using a few of the MDRS texting products and this is by far the best one. A reliable way to text from one's android on a mac. The native mac app is well designed and easy to use, it even shows all of group messages unlike imessages when i was using SMS for iChat. I have not had any disconnecting problems nor battery drainage on my android like some other mac texting apps i have tried. I would recommend this to anyone who has an android but is a loyal mac computer user.
Only a free trail for 5 messages then you have to upgrade to PRO and it cost $129.99 for it. Too expensive and not worth paying for it. No thanks.
Great app! Was longing for something like iMessage for android and I finally found something that's as visually appealing and functional on macOS
It doesn't appear to sync 100% of the time. Also MMS images appear very small. Not the size they were sent at.
Just what the Dr ordered when you mix Mac and Microsoft
Does exactly what you expect. Like the functionality not sure on price yet
If you're transferring from iOS, this app is an essential part of the migration process
Great app and it's definitely an improvement from SMS for iChat. Images now appear in the message and if does sync with your phone seamlessly. My only qualm is that you cannot start a group message. You can start one on your phone and it will transfer over, but you cannot start one on Airtext. Other than that, it's a fantastic platform.
I've use AirDroid, Pushbullet, and a few others over the years. I've always had issues with my connection timing out after long periods of time and I've always been annoyed slightly with having to open the apps everytime I needed to use them. With AirText, I don't even have to think about it. I installed the application and setup my account. I've been watching the battery consumption and it is so minimal, I just open the AirText app on my Macbook Pro and everything just works. I usually just silence my phone at any of my workspaces now because I get all of my messages instantly on my computer. People complain about the price but the simplicity and care put into this application is so worth it. They are looking to add more features but the core of the application ( SMS) works wonderfully. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the users.
Stuck between Android and Mac this helps bridge a gap. Now texting off your Mac to Android or other mobile phones is just so easy. 10 out of 10 for value and ease of use.
I've been using MDRS iChat for about a year, and this version is a big improvement. I use it on my Mac, and it just does what it's supposed to without any problem. Really clean interface. Waiting to see the iPad version in action before I give it 5 stars.
Great update! Used to use sms for Android, but definitely moving over to this!
Good aapp, everyone giving bad reviews just doesn't get what this app is for.
Great update! I've used sms for ichat before and definitely switching over to this!
Great product and very seamless! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
Great app. Love texting from my computer
Haven't had the opportunity to really use it yet, but from my first impressions, it appear to be a pretty good app.
Seems like a great app that i could use to text from my iPad with since i use my ipad more often than my phone!
Update airtext.app ??
Terrible app, the same terrible payment model, subscription service and a insanely high one time fee for lifetime access, which i would never recommend because who knows how long they would even keep their servers up or maintain compatibility with new mac os's or android os's. Same song and dance just dofferent outfit, not different from their old app
The app looks nice but still need some progress. Every time you open the app a folder with the hard drive opens, so you have to click on the icon to open (kind of installing every time) and another icon name "AirText" with a hard drive design opens in your desktop. So it's kind of annoying this way. Also, when you open the app you receive a Welcome Text every time. Which is also annoying. Besides this, the app works fine and it's really useful.
App works great, does exactly what is advertised. Doesn't consume any additional battery on the phone, and messages send and receive almost instantly. Would also be nice if I got a system notification of a received text, and being able to reply in the notification would be awesome. I'm sure they're working on adding this though. I do find 9.99$ a month to be a bit on the high side to be honest, and yes I know about the annual subscription, but i think 6.99 would be more appropriate, with 4.99 being the annual price.
Looks a lot like macs I message. Seems to work well but can only send 5 free messages a day. Overall, it is ok
It sucks does not work on IPAD Pro
Not worth it to pay $5
120$ for a basic text service. Just use AirDroid, it's not worth the money for just basic features.
Back at it again with another great app! This time it's the best of many worlds if your on different platform. I can now use my Android tablet now to receive messages. Feels like when I had my iPad. They are telling me that Window 10 is coming soon but I'm excited to see it release.
Waste my time to download, this apps doesn't means we can use the Android keyboard in Mac. F*ck!

Was looking for a reliable alternative to PushBullet. AirText does a great job of syncing text messages to the desktop app allowing me to quickly reply without having to take my phone out of my pocket or off my desk. Doesn't look like the Windows app is ready yet, but the Mac app works great.
