About Task Hammer

Did you ever wanted to become a fantasy hero? Now you have a chance with Task Hammer!

Task Hammer is an rpg game and a task list app in one. Task Hammer lets you complete your epic quests or daily routines and even gets you awarded for that. You can be a barbarian, a rouge or a sorceress and level up your character by doing real world stuff.

Task Hammer is also really useful todo list: it's simple, it's beautiful and also has alarms, widgets & repeating tasks. We also cruched most bugs before releasing it ;-)

In case of any problems please, send us email. We cannot reply to Google Play comments.

Notice: Task Hammer is not connected to Epic Win, Task XP nor RLRPG.

Keywords: rpg task list, rpg todo list, level up, xp

Love the idea of a to do list being an RPG. If it had more features it would get a 5 star rating. So much fun. Excuse me while I go on my epic quest to tend to the magical beasts (feed the animals)

The best checklist I've found so far because I can have reminders repeated daily, as well as weekly or monthly and so very easy to customize. Great for organizing spring cleaning and keeping on track. I do wish I could break my tasks into seperate groups and that the rpg aspect is a little more interactive. For example, some humorous text upon level ups, art that resembles a journey, or awards/badges. Anything that would make the rpg element more of a reward and less of a quirk. Overall, so worth it ♥

This is great just if you are looking for a cool way yo finish to do lists. Improvements: 1)set longterm goals with a due date and tasks to reach that goal. 2) Being able to order the way the tasks are listed. 3)Allow creation of grouping goals under 1 "mission" to help with forming habits. Like, I would have "Morning Ritual" as a misson and then put a bunch of task under it. I could get little points for completing sub tasks and alot of points for completing whole mission 4) undone taks should penalize

I have the hardest time keeping things in order. Task Hammer has been one of the few organizational tools that works for me and keeps it simple. Well done!

By far the most helpful task tracker I tried. I'm a chaotic college student with dozens of projects to keep in mind, so I often forget things or my motivation plummets midway. Since I'm a total game addict, this is a perfect way to make myself want to do all the tedious chores and tiny tasks throughout the day. Task Hammer is intuitive and simple, which I really like. It does what it says without distraction, and the gong reminder is an exceedingly effective way to grab my attention. Great work!

I love this idea, I've been looking for something like this for months. However I'd suggest two improvements. The first is adding more classes as well as allowing you to make custom classes with a custom picture. Secondly, let us add subtasks. So for example. Quest could be "Make your Wife's Day". Sub tasks could be "Take out Trash" "Pick up Groceries", etc

If checking something off a list isn't it's own reward for you; try it with added RPG elements!

The resolution might not support QHD screens because on the LG g3 the headers are all cut off. It's still usable but definitely looks bad. Also it would be nice if we could upload our own pictures. Really not a fan of the three we have to choose from.

I love this app as it makes me want to actually do the things on my to do list! Doing laundry is worth it to level up your character!

I would give this app 5 stars, but I work Tue through Sat have lots of tasks that I need to do just the days I work or on the weekends. So setting up a repeat for some tasks just doesn't work with the current options for me. I can work around it but it would be far nicer to just type these things in once. That aside, great app to motivate me to finish my to-do list.

I love this app's concept because it makes me want to do things to level up. I'm actually getting stuff done on time. One thing I wish I could change is the point system though. It currently gives points based on the urgency of the activity, but it should be allotted based on urgency and difficulty of the activity. Overall though, I love the app and would recommend it!

Love this app. It's simple & fun for gamer who likes to make to do lists. If only I could uses my own pictures for my avatar, or add more characters/jobs. It will be nice too if we could advance to upper classes after getting to certain level (swordman -> warior). I'll rate it 5 if you do. Still, I love the simplicity of this app :)

I've seen the other apps of this kind and chose this specifically because it's simple. I love how it looks and works. I agree with someone else that I'd love if you could upload your own photos. If you're still updating this, I have a suggestion - penalizing for missing a task. Maybe a loss of exp or something of the like.. That would be another motivator for me to not leave tasks uchecked.

Fun way to keep a to do list as you gamify your life. My only complaint is that I wish you could upload your own picture to your character sheet (at least if there's a way I haven't figured it out yet).

R70%
by R####:

It would be awesome if there were more attributes like "creativity" or "talent" maybe. And if you could choose your own image for your character out of your phone's library and maybe one or two more classes like mage, just to make it more interesting

A great motivational tool for nerds like me. I only wish you could earn rewards for each level up, like personalizations for your character or something

It's motivating, but it works be nice if the points actually did something. The only really scouting thing is that our doesn't sync so you can only use it on one device.

Makes the mundane epicly rewarding! Minor update requests for more character types &/or ability to insert our own character pic. Would love a lady archer or heroine / paladin or bard type for us gals besides just the sorceress. App has been very helpful in building better habits, motivating to accomplish those annoying personal drudgery tasks. Its a handy place to list those less urgent "to do's" that tend to slip my mind.

An app that does not crash, can put up all my tasks( but only show today and tmr). Most of all, it makes doing tasks interesting. Would been better if there are more characters

Task hammer is one of those cool apps that is also frustrating with how much cooler it could be. I can imagine so many other things that would make it better...but I'm glad to have it at all.

The reviews say it all. A life changing app. no extra game layers please. The simplicity appeals. I add everything I do to it, so I use my time more consciously. Shows me areas of my life that need attention. Charisma, Vitality or strength deficits tell me to get more social, eat healthy, cut stress or get more exercise. Used to be an iOS fan, and used epic win. This is different for one crucial almost inexplicable, vital reason - the layout makes you want to log more tasks in AND complete them.

There are lots of list apps or there, I have one, and it's great for shopping lists, but you tend to ignore the to-do list. This, however makes you WANT to look at your to-do list! It's even motivating me to go running, because my character's vitality stats are lagging way behind everything else! My only complaint is that it's fairly basic. It could do with a couple of extra features, but for a free app it's still great! =D

D70%

The app is amazing! Easy to use, great for motivation, so many options, perfect widget! I was trying to think of ways to make it even more motivational, and I came up with a cool way to PVP with friends: Person 1 attacks, for example "Hits with sword" and has 3 strength; Person 2 has 2 strength, but 4 charisma, so they could "Flirts to distract you"; Person 1 could "Pull self together" if they have intelligence higher than 4. If Person 2 wins, they add "Defeat Person 1" as a task and get points.

This app made it surprisingly fun to check off chores. It is simple and simplistic, but it is an effective to-do list app with the added fun of "leveling up" after doing tasks. It lacks some of the bells and whistles but it probably doesn't need them. I used it just for the repeating tasks in my life things that came up everyday or every week so that I didn't have to enter new ones every time and help me develop some good habits that I've been trying to achieve. Much fun.

Exactly what I was looking for. Good for organising tasks and motivating me to do them. Simple, pretty interface. Always feels good to tick off a task; great feedback. Like the way tasks are organised and colour coded. Would love if could upload own pic for my character, and maybe some exciting/fun visual feedback to complement that uplifting task completion sound. But really, I'm happy with it all already.

I have now tryed all the apps of this nature, and have come to the conclusion that this one is the best. It has the simplest layout, and all the features of the others, plus stats. The stat system really helps group your daily tasks, allowing you to see which ones it is that you do more, and what you can improve on, letting you truly balance yourself, as after a few days you really start to see an unbalance in your daily life, and can start to fix it step by step. This app is great idea for anyone!

This is the easiest and most fun routine list app i've ever used. Intuitive interface, large buttons, colourful ... brilliant! Well worth the money. This is now part of my life. Just wish I could upload my own gallery image and change the title. Would give the Dev 6 stars if they implement this. You guys rock :)

This apparently is functional. Beautiful. And Creative. The task features rival all the apps I've used. I use the leveling up system to level ME up per say. I give myself charisma for talking to people or scheduling a party night, I give myself perseverance for doing those mundane tasks, and vitality for hanging out with the wife (since ill live much longer for it :) Because of this app I joined a gym because my strength on my character is low. The motivation is powerful on this app. Great job guys!

I like the idea of task management apps but find myself giving up in the face of over-complication. This is basically a to-do list with a few additional features, which makes it a good alternative to my usual system of endless bits of paper. And I love the design. A few quibbles: more diversity in female characters would be good (Valkyrie? Gorgon? Hag?); probably not the best for your professional image; and it would be good to be able to sync it to other devices. But overall a handy piece of software.

Works good on my Toshiba Thrive. It's a very simple task management system, not as good as Any.DO but adequate for the task. It's a work in progress, & I look forward to seeing what they do with it.

Wish there was more graphic based objects. Like a little dude running around a map or something.

Diminishing returns suck! OMG RAGE QUIT! jk. But seriously getting less points for stuff done later in the day is not cool. Other than that, great app. Helps me resist going back to life-consuming MMO's by satisfying my craving like a nicotine patch

Point system could be varified depending on how quickly you finish a task and e.g. only get half the points when its overdue. Needs more characters and archievments.

Gain experience and attribute levels as you quest through daily life. Ever growing and leaving countless difficult tasks in the dust as memories of the great accomplishments in the old times and the new. One thing I will say to Developers is that each class picture should have it's counterpart gender. As well possibly a way to copy tasks not onto different days, but repeatedly as multiple tasks on the same day. Without inputting all the information fresh every time.

T70%
by T####:

Needs a way to get rid of old unfinished tasks without deleting future recurring tasks. Example: I should go for a walk every day but sometimes I can't. Maybe add a variety of traits and let us pick the top five or just the ability to rename a trait. Ex: creativity

R70%
by R####:

My only gripe is maybe making some of the Traits optional instead of having to see them all the time. Also, I do not totally understand how the points scaling up with each Trait level works? It would be nice to have that explained in the faq.

I love this app! It keeps me motivated doing any tasks just to raise my character level, and makes my life more interesting! Thank you very much, developers!

This little app puts other calendar apps to shame. In a nutshell: You choose a character, you assign yourself tasks such as "pick up junior from daycare," then you click off the chores in the app (after you do them) and it gives you experience points. Get enough experience and you level up. It even has a reminder feature. Well? What are you waiting for?
