The app does a good job of calculating a file's MD5 hash, but if I paste in my reference hash to compare and it has uppercase letters, the comparison fails. Even though the hashes are otherwise identical. Please fix this!

Developer needs to update this app's permissions! Sometime around Android 4.4, Google restricted access to the SD card unless the manifest explicitly requests it. Your app is useless to me without SD card access. Please fix!

Simply put, as others have mentioned, I find it impossible to navigigate out of my root folder, making this app of limited use.

Looks good. Very simple interface. The only thing that could be better is the compare on files. It would be nice to directly compare file hashes.

Dont know why the other ad free apps need Internet access... Gets the job done.

There is a bug in this app. If the md5sum has upper case letters in it and the file had lower case the program show a mismatch even though they match (other than upper and lower case letters). Deal breaker

[Folder] can't be read. Why? How can I check a file if I can't navigate to it?

Error when I try to select my SD card folder. Can't open. Had to use another program. Used to work well, not sure what happened.

Excellent for a free app, especially with no ads and no extra permissions.

Not sure if it was a bad install or what, but I can't get out of the root directory of my phone. Every time I click a folder, I get an error message saying that the folder can't be selected. It's like the app thinks I'm trying to check the MD5 of the folder. I'm just trying to get to my /sdcard/download folder. But I can't get to it. Therefore this app is useless to me.

Works like it should, but it is designed for bigger screens than the one in wildfire, so i cannot see compare results.

I like this app and would like to give it a 5, but can't because it kept flagging my downloaded ROM checksums as not matching. I double checked with 2 other checkers that said they passed. The problem was because the developer's posted checksums using all upper case alphabets, while the sums this app generated were all lower case. This app couldn't understand they were the same.

This is how more free apps should be, no adds just good open source Dev.

For some reason, the file browser can't browse the sdcard.

The only oversight I noticed was that text hashes have no way to choose which of several common end-of-line (CR, LF, or CR-LF) is in use (they all produce different hashes).
