Couple of suggestions.. (1) allow special characters for the search eg ac/dc (2) allow toggle of sorting at runtime so the user can sort by artist or by title . Really great app !

Waste of money Error message on media location. Locks out. Totally sucks

Outstanding app for a nostalgic control over your music. I installed it on an old Asus TF101 and connected via bluetooth to a set of speakers. My kids love it and so do I!

As a simple emulation of a juke box this program is great. Hope you keep adding features. I can think of a ton that would make this very mainstream

Works good, it's work find with my jukebox love it

Plays well like you would expect. The only draw back I have encountered is it added my ringtones and it would be nice to see a screen saver option.

A fantastic jukebox app just love it, I use it with a bluetooth speaker which it connects to automatically. If you have some friends round you can also let them make their own selections. Just a great fun and very clever app congratulations to Mike for the development.

How about an option to vary the number of songs displayed ? I use your app on anything from phones to a 12 inch tablet, sometimes i wish that i could have more displayed, otherwise a cracking app . Well done

I'd give it 5 stars if it had chromecast support.

Exactly what I was looking for in a music player. Good search functions, easy to use, and performs well. It's a great value for the price!

Good app but getting it set up the way I envisioned has proven impossible. I have a pretty large music collection and I don't want all songs to appear in the jukebox. I tried copying my selected songs to a jukebox folder and choosing that folder in the app, but that caused those songs to appear twice in my regular player. I thought putting a .nomedia file in the folder would fix this, but that kept the jukebox app from seeing any songs. I wish there was an option to ignore .nomedia.

I been looking for something like this about a year ago. This is what I wanted!! Brilliant little noises between tracks. Didn't work immediately on my old tablet, but support superb.

Would be perfect if it would keep playing music in the background and when screen is off. Nexus 7

Great app I like the fact that it's so easy for anyone to use nice & clear labels of songs like the old style pub jukeboxes I also like the fact that guests can't interupt and skip the song chosen that's playing its just like the pub jukebox you simply select your songs and wait your turn & your music will come on after anyone else's chosen songs it's great thanks very much for developing this fantastic piece of software best purchase ever.

If I could give this 10/10 I would. It compliments my bluetooth jukebox perfectly. I contacted Mike and he replied immediately with instructions on how to select individual folders. Seriously, one of the best apps that I have ever purchased. Well done Mike.

Would be better if you could see the songs in queue and move between songs or rearrange the list.

Best on the market! Needs to prevent device from sleeping. Please add bigger buttons for page skip and tweak the search function so it's harder to accidentally select something in the results. Add numbers to keyboard (u2?) Also making it more obvious that a selected search result is entered in the queue. More screen real estate for results would be nice too. Also any chance of a crossfading option when changing tracks? (despite it not really being retro!) Finally... any chance of a deduplication option? :)

Does what I needed in a jukebox app that others could not do. Mike provided excellent support for a general question late on new years eve. Highly recommended.

Love this - just a good old fashioned Jukebox. I just bought an Acer £250 DA241HL Android 24" touch-screen all-in-one which is basically a giant tablet on a stand. I am planning to make a wall mounted Jukebox out of it by building a wooden cabinet like Mike Dent did on his website. The wall mounted cabinet will also double up as a giant photoframe, occasional browser, virtual aquarium, etc. One request - could you release a new app based on this but with more config options? As I have a big screen it would be good to be able to see 3 or 4 columns and more rows of tracks shown (ideally configurable). If this can be done these new all-in-one PCs along with the app would allow a great Jukebox to be built.

Its a tad too limited in customization. Limiting the queue to x amount would be nice. Also a search function for large libaries

I have been looking for an app that has the look and feel of an old fashioned juke box for sometime and only found it by chance when I found the developer (Mike's) website. Great app thanks !

I have a real Bubbler Jukebox and have been looking for a player that is based on an exact emulation of the Jukebox red selector cards and mechanism. This is it! JB 2012 works extremely well, and is as close to the old selector cards as I have ever seen. Essentially, this program plus your music library on a tablet obsoletes a Jukebox’s very complex internal disc changing - playing mechanics and internal computer. And its self label-making eliminates a tiresome job. It even makes the turntable sound!!! You could use JB 2012 to build your own Jukebox using a $100 tablet, an old audio system, some neon (or LED) lights and a cabinet. Best of all, support is excellent. I had some problems in reading my library and had extensive rapid email dialogues with the developer, Mike Dent. He solved my problem. This is probably the best (US) $1.43 I have spent in a long time. I now have it running on my Asus tf700t tablet and Samsung Note 3 phone.

There isn't any other music app with this concept. Wish it had playlist capability, maybe in a future release. I had some issues figuring out how to select folders and the developer answered my email promptly with the solution. Fabulous, thank you.

Used it for a party this weekend on my tablet. I would give it 5 stars if it would sort or search by artist and have a search and sort button on the interface. I also had trouble with the app cutting out intermittently and the interruptions increased in frequency as the evening progressed. I hope Mr Dent will read this review and add/resolve the requests/issue. I would be more than happy to upgrade my rating. Thank you for this app I love the jukebox. Ez

Seems to be the only true juke box out there. Very good simulation of an old Wurlitzer including a second or two of 'hiss' to whet the appetite. Good job Mike Denton.

I'm trying to build a 1980s-ish jukebox, using a tablet as the core. Been searching for a long time for an app that fit the bill. This thing is pure awesome and exactly what I've been searching for.

I have been searching for such an app for weeks, I stumbled on this by chance and boy do I like it. Had an issue with trying to load my music folder but a quick email to Mike the developer, and hey presto. Would be great to be able to see which songs I have actually requested in the queued list.

I just built a jukebox from an antique radio cabinet, an android Asus memo tablet, and some stereo components. Love that it has party mode. But I keep all my music on a Linux server using plex to serve my music. Its nice because I can access it anywhere. Home or away, on any system, and it backs up to the cloud, crashplan. Wish I could access my music with this app. It would make my system complete.

Great app, best of the Android jukeboxes! Love the simplicity, but it would be great if there was an option to select a folder to play from, as it just includes all mp3 files, including ringtones. This would be useful for party mode by being able to select a particular folder of songs. Also, is there a limit of 105 songs as that seems to be the max for me?

C70%

This is exactly the app I wanted. I was surprized that this is the only true jukebox app in the play store. It is pretty tolook a, great to listen to, and awsome in its simplicity. Try it if you want an old time juke box you can carry with you

This is just what I was looking for. It would be great if it would work in portrait mode too on my tablet, with 24-30 songs per screen please. 5 stars if you do this! Update: Thanks for response Mike. Here's another idea - how about a party mode with no power, stop or pause buttons showing, and Android controls disabled, so that it can't be stopped or shut down. So that you could close it, you could set a combination, like pressing the first three labels simultaneously. On the PC, DWJukebox works in a similar way. Thanx again.
