I have the same problem as these latest posts from Android users. This app is no longer compatible with the latest Samsung sw upgrade. IPhone and iPad still works. Please listen to the voice of your customers and provide a quick solution.
App will not load my cameras was on the phone for hours today with tek support and still could not get to work right got it working through a nother camera app though lol
Since the upgrade, playback has been horrible on all devices....Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy Mega 2....was fine before the update. Please help fix. Security is at risk which is why I bought this, to feel at ease.
Since update playback on samsung galaxy 3 and hudl rubbish. Swann please sort this out. Before update no probs

Swann. Come on. Look at the number of posts here from people that cannot view their own security cameras on the phone. As per everyone else, I can no longer view my camera feeds. It just won't communicate with the system.
Since the update logins fail. Can't play back video at all and live streaming is intermittent. You guys a freaking useless! Where is the Pvt? Can't jump to exact point in time in play back. Will only jump to nearest hour or the start of when month is detected. tried on Nexus 5, 6 and galaxy s7 edge. I have the NVK-460. No option to view triggered alerts from the app. Very infrequent updates, and Swann doesn't seem to care at all... Will not buy Swann products again, nor should you!
It worked well until the update. I can no longer record playback from my DVR4-4600 to my Samsung note 4, but I can on a different Android device. I hope something can correct this because at the moment it's useless to me.
Does not work after update. It used to work. Not anymore. Can I roll back? Just wondering. Other than that, this update sucks.
Pot luck if it logs in or not. It's crap Doesn't log in 99.9% of the time, you might get logged in if.your lucky. Absolutely pointless
As other users have recently reviewed, the app stopped working about 2 weeks ago. Called customer support, which provided no resolution and stated there should not be a problem.
Update means it doesn't work anymore. All of the information seems correct but it just fails to login. Worked previously and after update it doesn't making it worthless
Can not watch recordings since the UPDATE brings up error message........so disappointed. Pay money for something with no support for this problem...
doesn't playback correctly, The video becomes unviewable and then Forse closes.. my phone has also restarted many times due to the crash of the app.... only does this when using playback....

Was working fine but now when I go to record something on my phone when playback it says playback error something has gone wrong....tried a few different cameras....just letting you know of problem
This app was working so well until the most recent update. Since then it is always failing with the login.
PTZ used to work fine, but since the latest app update it now is terribly slow and virtually uncontrollable. Needs fixing or else PTZ is useless.
Bought an NVR4-7082. Could not connect remotely to the NVR from the Swanlink PC client or the Android mobile version of it. The 4-channel NVR made a hell of a noise in my lounge, where I had it connected to my TV. I complained to Swann Support, received very good customer service, I returned the NVR at my own cost (read somewhere in their documentation that I can claim refund of postage so will be pursuing that with them) and a replacement was sent which I can connect to remotely on PC and mobile. However, the very loud whirling noise remains so had to take it up to the loft. PC and mobile remain my only access to the NVR, which has been working OK and video image is decent. Playback is possible on the mobile client but some of the features like PTZ don't work and some admin changes on the PC and mobile just don't execute. Huawei Mate 8
Nightmare when comes to play back. Continuous time out when trying to play back or when fast forwarding the time on. Please can we get this fixed. Real time is good. Just play back
Playback broken in this version. Kind of important that it works for a security system.
This update works with the newer model dvr's but fails to connect to with the older ones.
Since this latest update, can't use playback on any of our phones or tablets ! What have you done ?????? Very disappointed in Swann
Terrible, loads up intermittently and hardly does when I need it most, forever having to reboot the unit. Very disappointed customer service tells me to just reboot the unit. I say it's not something I should have to keep doing!
Since update unable to playback video all I get is loading stream icon and no video ! Worked fine before update needs sorting emailed tech nobody gets back to you customer service useless
its been working fine but now it wont load on my phone keeps saying failed its been working fine do t no how to fix it iv took app of and put it back on still dowing same
This is a great app . I'm currently living in USA and we installed 18 cameras in our house in El Salvador We are monitoring from here (USA) 24/7 for almost 2 years with no problem.
PTZ control has been fixed. App appears to be working as it should again. Thanks for the quick fix Swann.
Playback doesn't work. Other than that I guess it's ok for live viewing.
Same problem as everyone else. Since update cannot access my domain login to view my cameras off-site
Not good enough,spend my hard earned money on this system and since update i can't view cameras on any mobile device which is the whole reason I purchased it in the first place!!
Every time I go to watch a playback on my phone it reverts to the nearest hour. For example, I want to watch something that happened at 9:25am, the recording skips back to 9:00am and I then have to watch 25 minutes of crap just to get to 9:25. Fix it. Such a stupid app and security system. I so far regret this purchase, daily...and we've had it for over a year. FIX IT!
Since the update you cant view properly on your phones, playback is terrible as it keeps crashing
Update! Since Swann doesn't g.a.s. about their customers I'll help... Use the third one down just says swannview nothing else. It works for now, until they update! First read the other reviews... This is a problem caused by an update. I called tech support before I found these reviews. They actually said we have no reports of problems. So you make horrible software AND lie to your customers. BTW totally works on my gf iPhone.
This app was working well until the recent update. Now it keeps failing to login to the DV8-3000. I tried SwannView Pro HD which is supposed to support it officially, but still not working. Please fix the update or offer instructions to rollback asap.
Using with DVR4-4600. Hesitated as previous versions have caused loss of functionality on other systems, but this seems fine. Stream performance much better. Always backup your current app version when you rely on apps like this, just in case you decide to revert back.
Playback is a useless feature because it never works! Fast forward is still not an option! Camera buffers all the time! Why did I waste my money on these Cameras?
I was having the same roblems until I called Swann and they gave me resolution through a different app that support my dvr. Dont give up call or email. There are many different app that are supported!

Try using this and it sucks big time. Update has screwed the connection to my Note5. Keeps telling me try again. Worked like a treat, now can't get view on phone. Works well on my connected screen. Fix it. NOW. I paid to get my security put in, your product, my money, your software. Get it looked at.
