Amcrest Link for 960H DVRs

This app worked great until the latest update and now everytime I try to open the open and check the live stream on my galaxy s7 it says login failed... please fix it or explain how to fix it if we as users need to do something within the settings

DVR and cameras work great. Only this app says username and password error when they're still on default. Going step by step on the quick start guide that came with the system and still nothing. What a shame this great system doesn't have an app to meet its quality.

Works only when i am at home on my wifi. When away from home using my cell service it will not log in. Keeps saying log in failed. If i keep trying then it may start working in the 50th attempt to log in. The cameras are great but this app is horrible.

App never allows me to view my cameras remote on Android. What's the point of having security cameras if you cannot receive any notifications or viewing when not away? Very unhappy with Amcrest system, shopping around for a better security set-up. I have friends with cheap systems that can view remote on the phone with no hassle. Disappointed!

Used to work great. Now I have trouble viewing on my phone. Maybe the app is messed up. Till it's fixed I give 2 star.

Playback Timeline doesn't show motion events. App is unreliable. I am pretty dissatisfied with Amcrest and their poor technical support.

Ever since the update a few months ago never wants to open the first time.... need to fix... called on12/11/17 said they are you g to work on it

It works great but I wish you could fast forward through playback, and it would be nice if it had a 12 Hr time format setting, unless I'm missing it.

Love it when it works but the login fails almost every single time unless your on Wi-Fi at home. Please fix.

playback feature is useless because the dvr date keeps resetting to Jan 1, 2011.

App used to work...but you can no longer access cameras in cellular data..has to be on same wifi connection..defeats purpose of camera system ...will be buying other cameras

app needs serious update. good tool, but no features or personalisation options. sometimes cannot remote connect

Shoddy app. Sometimes it connects - most times it doesn't.

Why does it keep saying login failed

Ever since updates having been able to view my cameras without my wifi network..just says log in failed!!

Crash not going to recommend had one day 2 restart and still won't log in good for nothing

I love(d) this app and security cameras, showing it to everyone all the time. Then the update came, and I haven't been able to open the cameras reliably since. They always time out, or the opening pic is from a week ago - weird. Please help, it needs to be able to work so I can show it off again!

I was having problems with the app always crashing when watching the live video feed... After the latest update, the app looks great and there are no crashes anymore. All of the features such as 'playback' are mich smoother when scrolling through certain sections of video. I am really impressed with the improvement after the latest update. Everything is much easier to use and is much more responsive. T-mobile Galaxy S7 Edge.

The cameras show up great but when I start the app it turns on the motion detection which then sets off false alarms. Please fix this so my settings on the system are not changed when I start the app.

Ever since they updated the app when ever I open it up on my phone it will turn on the motion detector and email me 100s of false emails. Please fix this so I can use the app again

New version makes the app a bit easier to use. Trying to find a specific second of playback is still pretty difficult though. Also, I wish we could get push notifications of activity from the app

Getting flooded with video loss and motion detection emails even though I have them disabled. Setting aren't sticking or something.

Anytime I go into live stream it reain Abel's motion detection and my email is getting blown up from it I have to go into the system disabled but anytime I go to livestream I can count on the motion detection being being able to I've even disabled in the app and it still doesn't take for whatever reason I would like a patch for that and golden

Waste of an app for such a great security system! I love the cameras and the DVR, but not being able to see it from my phone (Galaxy S6 Edge), because it keeps not wanting to log on, is getting old. I have to uninstall and reinstall every time to get the darn thing to work. It is very frustrating. My review is simply for this bad app, the security system I actually like but I would like to be able to view it remotely.

Camera playback is sporadic, sometimes will allow me to review video other times it won't. I'm unable to fast forward or rewind, I select a time and it jumps back to the start of the hour. Not very handy if I need to jump to say 16:45 and it keeps reseting to 16:00, I would literally have to sit through 45 minutes of recording to catch what I need. God forbid I need to go back 1 minute. Not useful if the dvr is at a remote site.

My gawd. Now it's super stable. No issues what so ever. I like the new layout. No more freezing up switching between cameras! Tip my hat off to the developers. Job well done!

A great update. The best change is that now my Foscam IP camera plays without skipping. Good work Amcrest, keep it up!

Playback does not work well. Older version was better.

As a few others have said it turns on motion detection any time the app is opened. Please fix.

The latest update fixed a lot of issues and is much smoother and more responsive. Thank you team.
